We ran to the science lab, where the explosion took place. We went in. Mr. Seato was holding a ball of glowing gas. He threw it towards to floor. It went right through. It made a hole big enough for us to jump down. Jonah pushed Timothy out and he locked the door. We jumped down, one by one. When I jumped down, I fell into water. Mrs. Tip jumped down after me. We all waited for each other. Then we swam down the tunnel the ball made. Beth flew over the water. Then the path went straight up. "What do we do now?" I asked. "Look!" Daniel yelled. A boat fell down the hole leading up. "The book about the ball did say it will help you escape and will do weird things sometimes," Mr. Seato told us. It was big enough for all of us. When everyone was on it, the boat floated up.it floated up until we got to the normal ground. Everything was made of candy. "I think we must be traveling from either world to world or from universe to universe," Jonah said. The hole we just came from disappeared. "No going back the way we came," Mr. Seato said.

We walked for awhile. It was not actually that bad. We could have a bite of candy when ever we wanted. Then I turned around to see a dog following us. It was a German Shepherd. "Look," I said. I pointed to the dog. They looked at it. It changed into a cat. "Uh.." Daniel said. The cat turned around and meowed. I heard a roar. A beast was behind us. "Run!" screamed Jonah. We ran as fast as we could. The beast was catching up, and fast. The cat turned into a human cat looking creature. Beth yelled, "Hold hands!" We held hands and she flew us off. Jonah even grabbed the human cat. Beth flew as long as she could. She landed on a ledge of a mountain, near a cave. Then far off, a black hole looking thing appeared. We all looked at each other and ran in the cave. We could see, and we stayed together. Then we fell down and down and down and down. We finally landed in water. Torches lit up. We swan to a floating platform. Mrs. Tip cam on and she looked like she was in very bad pain. She was looking down. Jonah looked at her. She looked up. Her eyes were red. We all stared. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Your eyes have gone red, Mom," Jonah replied. "What?!" she said. She tried to use the water to splash it out. It did not work. Then the water under us turned into a whirlpool, sucking us in. We went underwater. I blanked out.

I woke up with Mrs. Tip kneeling over me. "We have been separated," she said. Her eyes were still red. Jonah was sitting next to her. "Hopefully, Mr. Seato, Daniel, and Beth can stick together. Then I realized the human cat sitting behind Jonah. Then we heard running. "Are you okay?" three voices asked in unison. "Yes, I am glad you managed to stick together," Mrs. Tit replied. I saw Jonah turn to face the human cat. "Why are you here?" he asked. "I want to help you," the human cat replied in a boy-sounding voice. "Are you a spy?" Jonah asked. The human cat shook his head. "My name is Thunder," he said.
