~Y/N POV~

Again another busy shift at work but I wouldn't have it any other way. I still love my job and wouldn't change it for the world.

Taking my car keys out my bag I walk to my car as I do every night and unlock it as I approached closer but stopped in my tracks when something large and pink comes to visible view in amongst the trees. Fully turning to that large whatever it is I widen my eyes in shock to see pink, as in my dragon pink staring back at me as he sits down. Like a few weeks ago with the other two he doesn't try to run away instead he stays there looking at me as if he wants me to see him.

So locking my car again I walk into the woods with my full sights remaining on him but still he doesn't move away until get much closer to him. That's when he gets up and only takes a few steps to the side to probably come out of view from the car park in case anyone was to see him.

I followed his moves until I was standing right in front of him staring up at his big orange eyes, that bore into my own. I'm thankful he doesn't try to run away which makes me hopeful that one of them doesn't seem to hate me anymore since it was clear he made himself visible for me to see.

"Hi."

I waved up at him suddenly lost for words. I swear the way his jaw curves slightly it was as if he was smiling.

"Hi y/n." Pink

There was something about the way he says my name now sounds so familiar but I push it away since it could be memories from years ago.

"Pink you don't hate me do you? Did I do something bad for the others to not like me anymore? Because I promise I came back to look for all of you but none of we're there. Or was there something else that I apparently did, something that I shouldn't of? I don't know what it is but I'm sorry!"

The dragon shakes his head rapidly to lower his head to be eye level with me.

"No you've done nothing wrong. You couldn't do anything wrong to us y/n. None of us hate you either it's just a whole misunderstanding and those jerks didn't handle that very well the last time you seen them." Pink

He turns his head to the side and huffs out a puff of hot steamy grey smoke through his nostrils and a dark glare to the nearest tree.

"So why did they run away from me?"

Pinks large head again slowly turns my way.

"There's a lot of things going on y/n. I mean a lot and we wanted to keep you safe and get rid of the problem first before we revealed ourselves to you. I guess the others panicked when you found them." Pink

"Like what? Could you tell me and maybe I could help?"

He was quick to shake his head to to lift it up a little bit as he done so so he wouldn't knock me over somehow.

"I can't y/n the less you know the less danger you would be in. Trust me okay?" Pink

I had no reason not to trust him. So I nod and agree I won't press any further about it.

"Okay I'll trust you. Oh, by the way how can I hear you all when I'm at work? You know at the hospital it's so weird."

I pointed at the hospital through the bushes and I noticed how his eyes widen slightly as if taken back by my question.

"Oh, well from here you'd be able to hear our thoughts and we would yours." Pink

I forgot they could hear my thoughts also but I didn't know from the distance of the hospital and the woods that they would be able to hear me. Not that's it's far away it's just I thought we had to be fairly close to one another.

"Really? Well I didn't know that. I seriously thought I was going crazy for a little while."

I chuckled to myself feeling a little relieved that I actually wasn't just making it all up in my head because of how desperate I was becoming in wanting to see them all again.

"No you're not crazy y/n. And even if you were you'd still be our crazy human who is perfect in every way." Pink

I covered my cheeks to hide my blush. He's always had a way in complimenting me and always gets the same reaction every time. He may be a dragon but I can't help it. To be truthfully honest I wished they were humans. I use to wonder what they'd look like if they were. It was just a thought.

"Blushing are we? I knew I still had the touch." Pink

He sits tall and proudly now towering over my body with his own but looking down on me. Though I think if he were human like I wished he was he would be smirking right now. You could just tell by the tone of voice.

"No."

I turn away with my back to him and he laughs at me. I roll my eyes as I fan my cheeks but couldn't resist the small smile creeping upon my face. I missed his laugh. Their voices are deep and almost as loud as if they were an echo in a cave. It's unnatural but each one of them have their own voices that makes them unique just like their colours.

I missed every single one of them.

Without a second thought I twirled around to him and quickly pushed myself onto his warm chest hugging his very large hard body. He stopped laughing when I did this as I surprised him but I felt his tail wrap around my back as if he were hugging me back. That's what they use to do to keep me close, was to use their tails especially black. He was the worst for it but yet I loved it.

"I missed you pinky."

I told him as I clung to him harder since I didn't want to let go. It's been 10 years and I can finally hold him again.

"I missed you too, little one." Pink

I smiled at his name for me, pressing my face more into his chest to be comforted by his warmth that was emitting from his chest even more so with his words. I even felt my own heart beat along with his, feeling that part of me come back after it had been missing all these years after I left. I didn't want this to end.

"Y/n, would you like to see the stars?" Pink

He randomly asked but I stood back from him to look up without moving my arms from his chest.

"I would love that."

I smiled at him and he nods. I knew what to do because we use to do this before. I let him go and walked around to his side as he lowers himself completely to the floor so I could step on his back leg and push myself up to climb up onto his back and straddle his back as if he were a horse. I could comfortable, sitting close to his neck and grabbing onto him tightly as I lower my chest to the back of his neck as he stands back up carefully.

"Are you ready?" Pink

"Yeah I'm ready."

"Remember keep a tight hold." Pink

I nod and hold on tight to the spikes that were in a line down the back of his neck giving me a great secure thing to hold on to.

"Yep I know."

"Okay then." Pink

Then just like that he stretched out his wings and starts to flap them up and down as he begins to lift into the air. I sunk myself lower to his body, feeling his body heat against mine. It would also keep me warm as he flies into the sky.

As he went higher and higher I watched the trees move until finally there was none in view except the top tips of the trees and the mountains were in view with the pitch black sky above us. Pink doesn't stop flying high and keeps going and going until he finally reaches the height he wants to go and starts to fly through the sky.

He doesn't go fast but slow to give me enough strength to sit up on his back and look either to the side of me or above to see the much brighter stars that shine through the sky. I forgot how much I liked this and how much I actually missed this. It was truly beautiful to see, to feel the cool breeze rush through my upper body as I still feel the heat of Pink's body on my lower half. It prevented me from completely feeling the cold air around us.

It felt like peace as Pink glides through the skies. The night was quiet too but that was sadly interrupted with a loud roar from behind us.

Pink turned his head to look over me to see what that was behind. I remember very well what all seven roars sound like since they're all unique but this one was different if anything it was threatening. Pink glares and huffs out some smoke from his nose once again turning back around to face the front.

"Pink who is that?"

I asked him now watching at least three new dragon figures coming up from behind us. I know they're not my dragons, I could tell that much even if I couldn't fully see their colours.

"Y/n hold on to me. I need to get you away from them." Pink

I did as told, lowering my body onto his as if I were almost laying down on top of him and I could feel the air brush passed me so much more faster than before. I tighten my grip on him as I never been on him or any of them as they flew this fast.

Pink let out a loud high pitch scream into the air and I squeezed my eyes shut from the loud noise that was sure to burst my ear drum. Soon after another high pitch scream response back and then a familiar roar also, I recognise that one as blue. Then a further two more roars, yellow and green from below us as Pink continues to fly quickly threw the air towards the mountains.

A ray of fire and the feel of the heat rushed past us but Pink was quick to dodge it. It was burning hot as it flew past.

"Fuck!" Pink

I looked over my shoulder to see the three dragons coming up close but the middle one was quickly tackled and dragged down to the trees below but another. My guess by the body type it was green. The way he chomped down on the middle dragons neck and pulled him down was shocking to me as it looked so easy yet I hadn't seen green like that ever.

Pink turned a sharp corner around a mountain and I gasped to hold on tighter to him. Another dragon appeared next to us and I panicked but then relaxed when I seen it was purple. He looks at me all serious in his eyes because of the situation and then another presence was felt on the other side and I turned to see black had appeared. It was as if they set themselves up as guards.

Pink glided quickly around the mountain with one other dragon on each side when just another ball of fire was spat our way. Just for black to turn over his shoulder and spit one back. I looked over my shoulder once again to see the second dragon chasing us to me tackled at high speed by both blue and yellow at the same time. They started ripping at him as the strange dragon screams out in pain with one of his wings breaks, in half thanks to Blues jaws. The last dragon left was opening it's mouth forming its large ball of fire ready to throw but was jumped on from above when Red came suddenly into view snapping his jaws at the other dragons face as they both fell to the trees together.

I turned back around to make sense of everything as now Pink was flying were we just came from, every quickly as Black and Purple stay by his side keeping up with the pace but looking in all different directions in case of new trouble.

He flew me back to where we once were very carefully as Purple and Black stayed hovering in the air as Pink put me back to the ground.

"Y/n you must go straight home, okay? One of us will follow you home to make sure you don't get followed by anyone else, okay?" Pink

I couldn't make sense of what was happening since it was happening all very fast but I nodded as I slide off his back and ran to my car like he said. Not even being able to say goodbye because he started to fly back up into the air before I could start running. This was clearly serious, since there's more dragons obviously trying to kill us. I guess this is what Pink meant by danger but why would they be trying to kill us?

Getting into my car all panicked did I turn on my car and drive home, but not without looking over my shoulder or in my mirrors to check who would be following me. If it would be anyone I don't know but all I could see every now and again was black gliding through the air above everything else.

With one thing on my mind was that I was trying to process what just happened. There's more of them?
