You hit your pen on your desk for who knows for how long as the class was getting boring. You could practically feel Bakugo's heat of rage across the classroom. Aizawa sighed at you antics and spoke up.
"Most years, the provisional licensing exam includes a section on disaster rescue. So today," Behind Jim a screen popped up and two sides with names came on.

"We will split the class into two teams of ten, and since there's an odd number, one will have eleven. You all have a training based on something similar to what will be on the exam. You scanned the screen and found your name on team A.
'Nice, I'm on the same team with Zuku-kun!' You thought happily.

"(Y/N), we're on the same team, let's do our best!" Uraraka said behind you.
"Yeah!" You smiled and looked away with a small blush.
'She's so cute when she smiles!' You thought.
"Now, let's get started, get your costumes and go to ground beta,"

"I, class representative Tenya Iida, have been-" You didn't listen to what Iida was saying as you were looking around the city and scanning places you can use your fake wing.
"Everyone, I understand your excitement, but let us consider the situation one more time," Yaoyorozu pipped up holding a small device.

"Two hours ago, a fire broke out on the bottom floor of a large underground shopping mall. Currently, the fire has been put out, and the people inside have been evacuated. However, we received word that somewhere in this underground mall, there is still one person who needs to be rescued." She explained.

They started to explain about how you all need to act as fast as possible, and you were so excited.
"Why don't we split up to cover more ground?" You suggested raising your hand.
"That's a good idea, but we have a problem. We don't have signal so the fire probably made a relay base station go down in this scenario," Izuku explained.

"So splitting up is a good idea," Todoroki said. You beamed at that and wagged you're tail.
"This mall goes down six floors. What if we go down from the central stairwell and search floor B1 first, then meet up ten minutes later?" Asui asked putting a finger on her chin.

"Good ideas Tsu!" Uraraka said, but then Bakugo started to walk away.
"Wait, kacchan! Where are you going?" Izuku asked.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to look for the damn citizen who didn't escape in time," He scowled turning to glare at the bushy haired boy.

"Kacchan you gotta at least go with someone else, or else it's gonna be difficult even for you!" You tried to reason with him, and he just tsked.
"You guys said it's a race against time. I'll find them in no time flat and show you the difference between us," He said.

"Kacchan please stop making this a competition!" You glared as he gave you a death stare.
"I'll do what I want Lizard bastard! And I'm finding them before you!" He shouted walking away. Kirishima and Kaminari follows behind him and you just sighed deflating.

'So much for teamwork' You thought sadly.
"Alright then! We shouldn't stand here now, let's split up now!" Iida turned to you guys.
"I'll go with Shoto and Fumikage," You smiled, not noticing the other jealous stares to the two boys. Izuku started to mumbled as you three were walking into the building.

"Man, I kinda feel bad for leaving Zuku-kun," You rubbed your neck.
"Don't be, he's strong enough to take care for himself," Tokoyami said, but internally glad he wasn't there with you. You three walked down a broken escalator as Todoroki held up his hand to make a fire.

"Tokoyami, is this enough brightness for you?" He asked.
"I have no difficulty controlling Dark Shadow," He explained.
"This mall is like a maze, why even make an underground mall in the first place?" You groaned turning to another hall of darkness. Suddenly, the place started to shake violently, making you stop and instinctively spread your wings to protect them.

"An earthquake?" Todoroki asked.
"Maybe, we need to" You got cut off by the ceiling breaking apart and falling. You quickly turned in your dragon form and covered the two heroes in training with you body as rubble fell on your back. You let out a roar telling them to run to safety.
"(Y/N) we can't leave you!" Tokoyami shouted. You growled and motioned them to run anyways.

They hesitated, but ran as the shaking stopped as you slowly and gently set the rubble off of you and set them on the floor. You felt your back slothful burn from it falling on you, but you shook it off and turned in your human form.
"(Y/N), here," Todoroki formed a small chunk of ice and set it on your back, making you hiss in pain.

"Please, for your back," You nodded sitting down and placed the ice on.
"Thank you," You smiled at him, making himself slightly blush.
"We're so very grateful, if it weren't for you we would've been crushed," Tokoyami bowed.
"It's nothing, just trying to protect you know?" You three day in silence for a moment, trying to hear for any more vibrations or shaking.

"It's been about ten minutes since the shaking," Todoroki explained holding his phone.
"Since there haven't been any aftershocks, we can probably assume this isn't an earthquake, but the mall collapsing," He said.
"Well that ain't good, and it'll be hard to do this without light," You rested your head on your hand.

"Yeah, it'll be hard to control Dark Shadow in this darkness." Tokoyami said looking up at the ceiling.
"Shoto's flames can't be good either, if he used it more, the less oxygen we get. Maybe we can use my echolocation, thought I haven't used it for a while so it might be rusty," You mumbled thinking about any other possibilities.

Silence.

"(Y/N)," You hummed and looked up at Todoroki.
"I have a question... why do you still talk to Bakugo?" You paused, processing on what he just said.
"What?"
"Why do you still talk to Bakugo? Even after what you gone through, aren't you afraid at what he did at the Sports Festival? At that he did to your wing?" His voice slightly raised. You started at him, Tokoyami was silent as he wanted to know too.

"Honestly, I am scared of him, because what he did can't be forgotten, but maybe I can try to forgive him. It may not work because of the memories, but if you hold a grudge on someone and don't talk about it, years later the problem may only get worse and all the stress of that problem builds up until you break. I wasn't the only one traumatized you know, Kacchan will always have the thought of him ripping someone's limb off," You explained.

"He's just as scared as I was. I can see it in his eyes. I may never forgive him, and I may always be scared of him, but maybe I can try and talk to Kacchan, and have him to at least say he's regretful," You mumbled. Todoroki and Tokoyami stared at you for a moment, thinking about what you said. You really do know how to make this a positive thing.

"Welp!" You stood you holding your hands out.
"The citizen won't be helping themselves out, let's go safe them!" You smiled. They grabbed your hands and you pulled them up.
"Now let's go echolocation!" You grinned and walked ahead.
"Todoroki, you think... that (Y/N) could..." Tokoyami trailed off, but Todoroki knows what he was gonna say.

"Yeah... but don't worry, we'll protect her,"

"Woah, that's a wall of rocks," You said stopping as the three of you stood at the blocked entry.
"If only we had some light," Todoroki mumbled.
"We can do this, let's go," You grabbed a rock and tried to push, but then the ground started to break.

"(Y/N)!" The two shouted, and then Dark Shadow appeared and took over. You spread your wings to try and fly, but you felt the giant clawed hand grab you. Todoroki was pushed against a wall as Tokoyami struggled.

"Shoto!" You yelled out as Dark Shadow had you in his hands.
"(YYYYY/NNNN)!! NO ONE IS GONNA HURT YOU EVER AGAIN!!" He shouted darkly.
"Dark Shadow!" You yelped as the lights went back on and he shrunk. You fell on your back as Tokoyami sat up. Dark Shadow shamefully pressed his fingers together sadly.

Todoroki opened his eyes and groaned.
"Sorry, I blacked out for a second, what happened?" He asked. You sighed and laid on your back.

"One day I'm gonna die because of hero stuff,"

Ah shit y'all school  s u c k s. But I gotta do it to get an edumincation. I love doing these OVAs because it gives you insight of what happened with (Y/N) during her journey, like why she still talks to Bakugou, and how she managed to get closer with her classmates.
