Chapter 65- Let's Take That Second Date

"You ready Eri?" You asked her as she grabbed her bag.
"Yeah mommy!" She smiled as you grabbed Eri's hand and went outside the dorms for a day out with Eri. The other classmates were busy doing their own things back home as you got permission to take Eri out.
"What do you want to see? The park? Beach? Oooo! The forest! I love the forest!" You smiled dopey at her, making her giggle.

"Food!" She said pulling your arm.
"Food it is!" You ran with her down the street and stopped at a cafe. You opened the door for her and noticed a small cat.
"Oh, a cate cafe," Hou mumbled letting the cat. Eri petted at the cats ad you walked to the counter and looked at the menu.

"Eri there's apple slices," You turn around, and noticing familiar purple hair.
"Hitoshi?" You tilted your head as the person looked back at you.
"(L/N)," His eyes slightly widen as you waved.
"Hitoshi! It's been a while since I seen you!" You smiled at the tired boy. He looked at your new appearance. New wing, and new horns.

"Yeah, you definitely changed," Shinso motioned to your body.
"Oh yeah. You know, being kidnapped by a sadistic lustful villain that used your blood for evil can change you, mentally and physically," You rubbed your neck, making the tension awkward.
"Umm, ok then-"
"Mommy can I get a smoothie?" Eri walked up to you holding a ginger kitten.

"Mommy?" Shinso's eyes looked at you in shock.
"Oh! Eri meet Hitoshi, Hitoshi meet Eri, she's my adopted daughter since she was captive too," You smiled at the small girl, who shyly waved at him.
"Huh, you really are great with kids," He smiled softly.

"Why do people say that? Just because I want to protect every child I meet without a mom I'm suddenly a good parent?" You said oblivious as you held onto Eri.
'I-' Shinso only shook his head and petted a white cat next to him.
"Well, what are you doing here? Never thought you'll be in a cat cafe," He said.

"Well I thought it was a normal cafe until I saw the inside, but Eri likes it here so why not get something to eat? Besides, if I didn't come here I wouldn't have seen you to tell you we could have our date," You grinned at him. He blushed for a moment, completely forgetting about the date you two planned months ago.

"About time," He Gabe you a small smirk. You grinned and turned to get Eri.
"First Eri and I need food or else we'll go feral,"

"Oh..."

Eri started at Shinso for a while now. Ever since you three left the cafe she's been staring at him.
'This boy looked like Eraserhead, why is he going on a date with mommy? Does he like her? Like Lemillion, Deku, Eraserhead, Uravity, Froppy, and Nejire-Chan? Mommy is pretty, so I guess it makes sense, but they're working so hard to be with mommy. It's kinda funny,' Eri thought smiling slightly licking her ice cream.

"Soooo, what have you been doing lately Hitoshi?" You asked.
"Nothing special, I've been getting training by Aizawa-Sensei for a while, and I have it's been going well," Shinso explained as you held Eri's hand.
"That's so cool!" You looked at your adopted daughter and back at Shinso.

"Hey Hitoshi, can I tell you something?" You asked them. Shinso nodded as Eri only held your hand, eating ice cream. You lead them to a bench as Eri was looking away and watching the ducks.
"Well, Aizawa told my class that we'll be participating in a safety program on an island called Nabu island for a month, and it was great, until a group of villains arrived," You explained. Shinso nodded in acknowledgment as you continued.

"One of the villains were named Nine, and he had a quirk like All For One, and he wanted to rake away a small boy's quirk so he could be more powerful. Of course, we wouldn't allow that, and we try to fight him, but he was too strong. He almost destroyed my class, and I tried to stall as much time, but he grabbed my neck... and..." You looked over to Eri as she wasn't paying attention and touching a duck.

"He snapped my neck, and killed me," Shinso's eyes widen and he clenched his fist tightly.
"It was a blur, and I thought he knocked me out, but... someone stopped him, and he most likely died. They truly thought I was dead... until my horns," You pointed at them.
"They did something... they rewinded my body and reversed to the time before I got killed, like my Eri," You told him.

"And earlier than that, I had a dream, of Eri and these dark shadowy hands covering me, and when I woke up they were glowing a purple color, and I heard theses whispers," You had a look in your eyes and only laughed softly.
"I honestly don't know what's going on, but I definitely know this all happened when Eri reversed my wing back to normal, and now I have a stronger connection to her than ever,"

Shinso paused for a moment and he put a hand over yours.
"That's... Incredible. Not the part that you died I hope he's suffering right now, but how this all happened when you met Eri. Do you... Do you think that Eri managed to lend you her quirk too?" He asked.
"That's what I'm suggesting, but so far I haven't told anyone. Although I think Zu-Midoriya and Bakugou knows about, and only those two," You rubbed your arm and looked away.

"I just don't want to scare anyone with that. Considering I lost my wing, then I got kidnapped, angry parents came, got kidnapped again, got my insides ripped out and put back again, almost forced to have children, got my wing back, went sicko mode on the villain, died, came back to life,- wow, I need a hug,"

Shinso did just that and hugged you tightly as you only sighed in his chest.
"What am I going to do Hitoshi? All of this responsibility, but I'm just so tied up, I need a break," You said muffled.
"Hey it's okay, I'm here, if you need someone to talk I'm always here," He reassured you, making you sit up and smile at him.

"Thank you Hitoshi, I needed this rant, I'm sorry if this isn't the ideal date for you," You said disappointingly.
"It's fine, I only want to be here with you," You blushed slightly and scratched your cheek.
"Mommy can I have this?" Eri walked up with a duck in her arms.

"Only if you feed him,"

"Eri, (Y/N), no-"

"Eri, (Y/N), yes-"

You all tuckered out honey?" You asked Eri as she nuzzled against your chest, eyes droopy.
"Mhm mommy," She mumbled closing her eyes.
"Thank you for this date again (Y/N), I loved it," Shinso said putting his hands in his pockets.

"It's my pleasure, and this should walkways happen on every date right?" You leaned in and hiss him on the cheek. He blushed and jokingly punched your shoulder.
"Idiot, you should go, gotta put your child to bed," He said looking away.
"Yeah, say goodbye Eri," You smiled.
"bye bye, Toshi-San" Eri said drifting to sleep.

"See you later Hitoshi!" You waved goodbye and went inside your dorms, seeing the class there.
"Hi (Y/N)! Where were you?" Uraraka asked holding some tea.
"Just went out for some mom and daughter bonding," You simply said walking to Eri's room. You tucked her into bed and kissed her forehead.

"Hope you had a great day with Hitoshi," You said walking out of the room. Eri peeked her eye open.

'Sure did mommy, and I hope you find someone to love, so I could see you even more happy,'

Shinso went to his dorm, having a small smirk as he got his phone out and texted to Aizawa.

Tired cat:
