Chapter 64- A New Future For Heroes

"Hey, you think dragon hero likes me? I bet she does," Hawks grinned with his arms over his head as he and Endeavor walked down the city streets after the Hero Chart Board. The flame hero only grunted as Hawks just smirked.
"How about you? Oh wait, you have a wife," He said.
"Stop talking about that," Endeavor scowled at the young hero.

"Ok fine, she would want a old man anyways, she would want a mature, young, strong man," Hawks shows his face and flexed.
"You're insufferable," Endeavor said.
"Bet that the dragon hero, oh sorry, (Y/N) would tolerate me,"

"Keep talking and you're gonna be fried chicken,"

"If you do, serve me in KFC,"

You sighed as the Hero Chart Board finished. You were disappointed that Ryukyu was now the number 10 ranked hero.
"She got replaced with a washing machine!" You whined laying on the couch. Uraraka covered her mouth to stop laughing as Iida scolded you for insulting a hero. You laughed and turn your head to see Todoroki walking off to the kitchen.

"Hey Shoto," You said walking up to him. He said nothing as he poured him some tea.
"Is it about the ranking?" You asked him, and him nodding quietly.
"That old man, he tries too hard," He mumbled looking at his tea. You leaned against the counter and looked at him with a small frown.

"I saw him last night... your dad," You said swaying your tail. He stopped and stared at you for a moment.
"Did he hurt you?" Todoroki asked, slightly clenching his cup and small pieces of ice forming on his right arm.
"No no, I ran into Hawks while my nightly flights, he thought I was an intruder and Endeavor was looking for him," You explained.

"Did he say anything to you?" You paused for a moment, thinking about how Endeavor said that Todoroki had an interest in you. I mean don't get me wrong, you like the half boy, but him as a lover, you get flustered over someone brushing their shoulder on you.
"No, he just told me to go back and they left," You lied. He looked at you suspiciously, but only nodded.

"You know, even though he is a total eel, I think he's trying to reconcile with your family, just not the best way," You mumbled looking away in case you offended him. He only tsked and set his cup down.
"(Y/N), I know you're trying to make me feel better, but I just don't really need it right now," He simply said. You opened your mouth to say something, but then the news was on and you turn to see a Nomu.

"Oh no," you muttered grabbing Todoroki's hand and made your way to the common area.
"Is that a new one?" You asked Kirishima, who slightly blushed when you stood behind him, but nodded.
"People are calling it the Hooded Nomu, and it's currently at the central Fukuoka," He explained. Your eyes widen as you saw Hawks and Endeavor.

'Now the test for the new Symbol of Peace' You thought as Hawks was evacuating the citizens and Endeavor flying to attack the Hooded Nomu.
'It's speaks?!' Your eyes widen a little, but soon slightly glared at the tv.
'Tomura, your league is getting farther to having a big impact on this world. Toga, Twice, Dabi, Spinner, Compress, all the others, all of you are getting stronger' You thought

'Shit!!'

"Boring... are there any stronger heroes?" The Hooded Nomu croaked out.
"Never mind... need to get... dragon for... Dabi..." It mumbled walking off, leaving Endeavor on the ground with his face wounded.
'Get up. Get up Enji!' He thought as he struggling to move his arm.

"I'll try and become the hero you can be proud of. Proud of your father being the number one Hero,"

"A powerful hero,"

"But before I go I have to tell you Endeavor, be a decent human and father, and know that Shoto isn't a tool for success, He's still human,"

"Bye... number 1 Hero,"

His flames grew stronger as he slowly got up and charged at the Hooded Nomu.

"DON'T HURT THESE PEOPLE!!"

"This is what it means to have no Symbol," The class stared at the tv as Todoroki gripped your hand tighter, and it burning up. Of course it didn't bother you because of your scales, but it hurts to see him like this.
"You got to be kidding me," He growled under his breath. You squeezed his hand tighter as he was rubbing his finger on your knuckle.

"Todoroki..." Aizawa said waking up as you heard a voice on the news.
"Stop letting something that isn't there get to you! Isn't that the man who's risking his life for your sakes?!" You heard them yell. The camera moved to see Endeavor flying and burst the Nomu in flames as Hawks dodged and swiped at the Nomu with his feathers.

'Show your worth Endeavor, prove that you deserve your children's respect!' You thought as Endeavor got bit by the Hooded Nomu, and was grabbing it tightly, flying up in the sky. All you could see was a ball of flame, then an explosion.

You froze as took a step closer, waiting for what's gonna happen next.

Flames

Smoke

Silence

And Endeavor

"He's still standing! He's still standing!" Your gape soon formed in a smile as Endeavor stood with his fist in the air. Todoroki couched down and sighed heavily. You comforted him the heat you can and covered him with your wing. You looked at the tv and stared at the scenes on it.

'Even if there's no more old Symbol of Peace, that doesn't mean the future heroes will loose faith.

New generations will rise up and protect this world from the evil lurking around,

The new generation of heroes,

Will be us'

You were dreaming.

You were walking down a world of darkness.

You couldn't see anything.

You couldn't say anything.

Until you saw a small light up ahead.

You tilted your head and walked towards it, running as you saw the light getting closer.

You stopped as your saw a small figure looking away from you.

You reached out your hand at the figure, not knowing who or what it is.

The figure stood still, until it snapped its head to face you.

Her red eyes glowing as the horn on her head started to glow.

The glow was brighter and brighter as Eri started to cry and giant shadowy hands covered you.

Nothing was heard except your attempts to scream.

Your eyes shot open and sat up straight. Your room was a mess, hair ruffled up, and a major headache. You couldn't see anything, until a purple glow was forming on your head.

You panted as you reached for a mirror on your bedside. You looked in and saw your disheveled face, and your horns and eyes were glowing in a purple color. Your slowly touched the horns, only for them to spark your finger.
"What in Odin's beard," you mumbled.

"I'm sorry mommy..."

Sup y'all, sorry if it was a couple of days after the last post I was debating on putting you with Endeavor and Hawks or not. I decided to give your some relief and be with your classmates.

This book will be on haitus on the main plot line, I'll put to second movie and cut out episodes, and filler too.
