Chapter 42- The Fight

You were exhausted when you finally came back from summer break. From what happened at I expo, you just want to sleep. You sat on the couch as the others were talking. Koda was sitting next to you and you leaned your head on his shoulder, making him jump and blush. The others slightly glared at him, but continued to talk.

"Meet me at ground beta," you opened your eyes as you heard Bakugou mumble to Izuku walking pass him. You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked at the two.
'Ground beta is where the buildings are for training, are they...' you shook the thought away.
'No, they won't fight right? Oh who am I kidding it's Kacchan,' you stood up and told the class you were going to bed.

'Please don't do anything stupid you two,'

"Stop overthinking, and fight me dammit!!" Bakugou charged at Izuku, who dodged and jumped into the air.
"So you wanna spare?" He said activating his quirk as Bakugou jumped too and exploded some of the buildings. He grabbed Izuku's arm and threw him down, making Izuku yell out in pain.

"Kacchan!"

You shot your eyes open and sat up from your bed. Your ears started to twitch a lot as you felt the ground shake slightly. You jumped out of bed and opened your balcony window, standing on the railing, spreading your wings open and fly towards Ground Beta.

'Those two did something stupid'

You saw an explosion and immediately became invisible and flew down on a building rooftop to see what was going on.
'I can't engage with this, I'll get in trouble. But yet I can't let them fight' you thought looking down at the two.
"TELL ME DAMMIT!!" Bakugou made more explosions, but he fell on the floor.

"Kacchan are you alright?" Izuku reached for his hand, but Bakugou slapped it away.
"Don't you dare touch me! Why won't you fight back?! Why do I have to chase someone who was so far behind me?! Why did a damn nerd like you got so much stronger, and became Allmight's favorite, his sidekick?!" Bakugou stood up, but looked down at the floor.

"And why the hell is Lizard bastard so close to you?! While she's close to you, I destroyed her wing!! Ever since the Sports Festival, she's scare of me! You may not see it but she has fear in her eyes whenever I'm near her!!" You stared at him silently, something is your chest tightening.

"Even when she said she forgave me, I see it in her eyes that she's still scared!! And because of me (Y/N) got kidnapped!! She would've escaped if if hadn't been me taking away her wing!!" He looked up at Izuku with small tears in his eyes.
"And if she hadn't been kidnapped Allmight would've still had his quirk!! All of this happened because of me and it's keep playing in my head!!" He shouted.

'Kacchan...' you felt shameful for making him have this guilty. But yet, you felt a tiny bit of satisfaction that he knew what he caused you. The pain you have because of him, the mental stress you have. Whenever you felt him near you you flinch, you feel cold and you want to run from him, what is it called? The pain wasn't physical, but you still felt it in you, chewing in your mind and making you feel like you're stuck.

What was it called?

Your thoughts got interrupted by the two of them charging at each other, picking and kicking to knock each other out.
'I have to stop them, but they won't listen, they'll tell me to go and probably push me away,'

You walked back and forth trying to reason with yourself as they kept on fighting. Izuku jumped into the air as Bakugou tried to explode him, then Izuku went into punching him. You stared wide eyed as he actually made a punch at Bakugou, but it wasn't for long as Bakugou twisted around.

"I WON'T" he grabbed Izuku's shirt and flipped him over, activating his quirk.

"LOSE"  you spread your wings and swooped down quickly towards them.

"TO YOU!!" An explosion, then dust surrounded the city area.

Izuku was on the ground, in pain and shaking slightly, but he opened his eyes to see nothing on him. He turned his head to see you, in your dragon form, bruises on your scales, hugging Bakugou tightly.
"What... Let go," he struggled in your arms, trying to escape, but you hugged tighter.
"So.....rry..." Izuku's eyes widen as your voice croaked out in dragon form.

Tears fell down your face as Bakugou stood there with wide eyes.
"I'm... sorry... ka...cchan," you croaked out.
"That's enough (Y/N), let him go," you didn't turn around, but nodded at Allmight's request and let go, walking to the side.

"Why him? Why Deku?" Bakugou asked him.
"He was powerless, while you were strong in all places, I wanted him to be part of the stadium, to become strong," Allmight explained.
"It wasn't your fault, neither was yours (Y/N)," he turned to you, making you nodded and wipe your eyes away. Allmight pulled Bakugou close and hugged him.

"Sometimes I forget that you're children," he said.
'Sometimes?' You thought turning back into your human form.
"Being a hero you learn so many things. Striving to become the best, like you young Bakugo, and rescuing people like you Young Midoriya, and wanting to protect love ones like you (Y/N). Those three attributes are what makes a hero be seen with justice," he explained as you three stared at him.

"I know things have been a little hard, but the three of you need to put those things aside. I know that you can become great heroes together." Bakugou sighed as ran his hand through his hair.
"Fine, but as long as Deku becomes strong to fight me again, you too Lizard bastard," He said looking at you. You stared back, that feeling in your chest again.

"Yeah... lets just go back," you mumbled walking away.
"Don't ignore me dammit!! We've been through a lot!" He yelled out as the four of you walked away.
'They're becoming proper rivals now, let's see how they'll become in the future' you gave out a small small as Izuku and Bakugou slightly argued about beating each other.

'Also let's hope that Aizawa will forgive us'

"Not even a day after the pro hero license exam and you're already fighting, good to see that energy in you," Aizawa scowled. You three were wrapped up in his cloth as he scolded you guys, but it seemed that you were wrapped the tightest.

'Ok maybe not' you thought.

"Wait Aizawa, it was my fault they fought in the first place!" Allmight pleaded with him. He whispered something in his ear, making Aizawa sigh and letting you three go.
"I understand that they had to break the rules, but this isn't something that I'll let slide, there has to be a punishment. Who threw the first punch," He demanded.

You three shivered as he mainly glared at you.
"(Y/N), do not lie to me, who did it?" You slightly shook in fear and was about to speak until Bakugou spoke up.
"I was the one who punched first," he said looking away.
"I also punched back, (Y/N) wasn't there for the majority, she only came to stop the fight," Izuku said.

You nodded at that as Aizawa pointed at you guys.
"You all three are on house arrest. Four days for Bakugou, and three days for Midoriya and (Y/N) since she didn't tell a teacher and tried to step in. You'll be cleaning the common areas and dorms morning and night. Plus I want a written apology," he said. You subconsciously nodded at the punishment.

"If you're injured head to the nurse's office, but do not rely on Recovery Girl's quirk, know to treat your own damn injuries," Aizawa then gave out a sigh and brought back his cloth.
"Head to the dorms and sleep, tomorrow morning you'll be cleaning the moment you wake up," he said and was lied away with Allmight.

You three said nothing until you laid back on the bed.
"You two will be the death of me, if you ever fight again irrationally and without any supervision I will crush your skulls," you threatened. Izuku franticallt nodded as Bakugou just tsked.

"Great, now lets go back to sleep, I'm this close to passing out,"
