Chapter 16- From Engine To Ice

Urakaka cried on your shoulder as you held her close. The battle was brutal, and Bakugou definitely showed no mercy at all. Yet, she still stood tall and fought. Like you said. Hell, she even made a meteor shower!!
"Shhh it's ok Ochaco, I'm here," you whispered nuzzling you head against her.
"I tried (Y/N), I really tried!" She sobbed.

"I know you did, which is why I trusted you to make your own move," you said smiling at her. She wiped her tears away and hugged you.
"Thank you for believing me (Y/N)" she said muffling through your clothes.

I trust her.
"I have to go," she got up and ran off.
"Wait Ochaco-" but she was already gone. You sighed and got up too, walking off only to bump into Izuku, and Endeavor again.
"Hey Zuku-kun" you said, not looking at the flame hero. Izuku's eyes trailed on you and grabbed your arm.
"(Y/N) we have to leave," He pulled you away from Endeavor, glaring at him in the process.

He stared at you two before you whispered to Izuku.
"What happened?" He simply looked at you and looked away.
"Something bad," you didn't push it and walked with him to the stadium.
"Oh hey Zuku-kun," he turned.
"Good luck," he smiled. He nodded and walked off.

"And good luck to Todoroki,"

"REMEMBER (Y/N)?! ITS YOUR POWER!!" The battle of Izuku and Todoroki was intense too. And Todoroki finally using his left side. You were proud, after what you said, he finally realized what his left side meant. Though, Midoriya was having the best with his quirk.
"Midoriya is out of bounds, Todoroki advanced to the next level!" You got up and ran towards the nurse's room.

"Woah there (L/N)! What's the matter?" Recovery girl asked.
"Midoriya... injured... here to... be with him..." you panted. Recovery girl patted you on the back.
"Don't worry, with him in the nurse's room all the time, I know where he got hurt," You took a deep breathe, and smiled.

"Also, do you mind if you heal the rest, I can only heal him enough for him to walk,"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Coming up next is the engine fast boy, Tenya Iida vs the awesome dragon fury child, (Y/N) (L/N)!!" You looked on at Iida, who stared back.
"Begin!!" He immediately sprinted at you, going around and pushing you towards the bounds.

"Hey no fair!" You spread your wings and flew up.
"Apologies (Y/N), but I have no intentions of losing!" He jumped up to take a kick at you, but you dodged it. He grabbed your tail and pulled you down.
'What's with people grabbing my tail?!' You groaned and fired a plasma blast. He turned and grabbed the back of your shirt, running towards the bounds again.

'Shit! I don't want to hurt him, but I have to,' You quickly blasted his engines, making them stalled.
"Gah!! (Y/N) you play dirty!!" Iida yelled stopping inches away from the bounds, making you grab his arm and throwing him off.
"Sorry Tenya, but I have to show something!" He landed out and Midnight whips her whip.

"Iida is out of bounds, (L/N) advances to the next level!!" You ran to check on Iida.
"Tenya are you ok? I didn't mean to hurt you, I just wanted to stall your engines, not-" Iida raised his hands and bowed.
"Don't apologize (L/N)! You really are strong, and I respect that!!" He said, making you hug him.

"Just make sure I didn't destroy the engines" you said. He blushed and chopped the air.
"N-not to worry!" He ran off and you smiled.

"He's so happy, even when he looses something, hope nothing changes that,"

"And now, heading up is (Y/N) (L/N) vs Shoto Todoroki!!" You saw Iida had to go somewhere, and he was pretty upset. But you had to go on and now readied yourself.

"Begin!" Todoroki sent out his ice, and you flew upwards to dodge it. You sent out a fire blast to melt the ice, but he kept on coming.
'If he uses his left side then it'll make it tougher to have an advantage on, but it seemed like it was a one time thing, for now' You dodged the ice coming straight towards you and you tried to get closer to tackle him, but he turned and froze part of your wings.

'Odin's beard, I can't fly now so I have to resort on invisibility right now' you blasted a plasma blast and quickly turned invisible.
"What's this?? She now turned invisible!! Such a trick up her sleeve!" Todoroki tsked and try to find out where you are. He took a step and froze the ground, making one of your legs visible.

"There you are," He sent out a ice blast and you fired another plasma blast. It kept going on until you started to cough.
"Dammit, is using it all," you mumbled. Todoroki noticed and gave you a hug block of ice.
"There it is (L/N), now you'll see what place you're in, nothing but a monster dragon!" The ice covered you and there was silence. The entire class stood on edge as they didn't see you.

"Where's (L/N)?! Is she there?!" Everyone was waiting for you. All the while you were in the ice panicking.
'Calm down (Y/N), breathe, you can get out of this!' You tried to move, but nothing.
"(L/N)! Can you move?" You heard midnight. You try to reply, but ice was covering your mouth.

'Yes!! I can move!!' You try again, but nothing.
'Nonononono please no! I can't just forfeit! I need... move...' the ice was too much for you, as your blood began to cool down. Your eyes dropped and you closed them.

'I'm sorry Dart, Pouncer, Ruffrunner, mom, dad...'

'Dad'

'What did he say?'

"Who there kid! Remember what I taught you!" You were around 4 when your father was playing with you.
"But dad! I want to be tough and strong like you!" You whined. He chuckled and licked your head.
"But I wasn't always like this, a human shot me down, and I tried to fly out, fight him, but then I realize that being strong can't be enough, the human helped me, and we grew strong together" he explained.

"A human helped you?! Woah!" You has starry eyes.
"Yep, and over the years, he was someone that I needed to protect, and when the former Alpha tried to kill him, I knew I had to stand up, for he help and now I was returning the favor, and then I became the alpha," he said, motioning his wings to your home.

"Wow, I want to be like you dad!" You mimicked roaring noises. He laughed and ruffled your head.
"But you know (Y/N)? There's a moment in your life to know what you'll be beside anyone else," you looked up at him confused.

"You're gonna be the next alpha, and you'll show the ones who tell you otherwise, prove them wrong and say!"

Midnight sighed and raised her whip.
"It appears that (L/N) is not responding, so the winner is-" A sudden purple glow was in the ice. Todoroki's eyes widen as a loud roar was heard and the ice exploded. It was you, your body glowing a purple color as you were in your dragon form.

"You may see me as a monster dragon, and you're right," your eyes were skits and you smirked. You were speaking telepathically?! Izuku was shocked.
"I am (Y/N) (L/N), the Alpha NightLight Fury!!" You roared and charged at him. He quickly made ice to block you, but you blasted through that easily.
"WOAH!! (L/N) IS IN FULL DRAGON FORM AND IS ANGRY!!" Present mic yelled. You swiped at Todoroki, him barley dodging and sending another wave of ice.

You bit through and kept on sending fire and plasma blasts.
'Keep in until he gets frostbite' You noticed he kept getting tired, and ice forming on his skin. You grinned a gummy grin and let out a final plasma blast. One so big it blinded others. It hit Todoroki and smoke was surrounding the battlefield.
"WHATS THIS I CANT SEE ANYTHING!!" The smoke eventually cleared and Todoroki was still standing but...

"Todoroki is out of bounds! (L/N) advances to the final match with Katsuki Bakugou!!" Silence, until one person clapped, then another, and another. Soon the stadium clapped and cheered. You shrunk back and fell on your knees.
'Woah... was that the moment dad told me about?' You closed your eyes and fell down, exhausted than ever.

Todoroki stared at you. You actually beat him? So many thought went in his head, but one stood out.
'She proved me wrong' a small smile went up on his face and he closed his eyes.

"(Y/N), you gained my respect, and I'm sorry for doubting you, but that doesn't mean I'll stop. I'll fight harder and beat you someday, and that's a promise" And then he walked off. Izuku and Uraraka was relieved that you were ok.
"Ribbit, wow (Y/N) is so strong when she reaches a moment, like Todoroki" Asui placed her finger on her chin.

"Yeah, with a power like that, she proved herself as an alpha," Jiro said while blushing. Bakugou heard those complements and growled.
"Lizard bastard, you better show me that power when we fight,"

"Last and final round for the sports festival, Katsuki Bakugou vs (Y/N) (L/N)!!"
