Chapter 12- Sport Festival: Obstacle Course

"Please don't get hurt you two," Inko said as you and Izuku grabbed your bags and were ready to go. Days went by faster and the sports festival is finally here.
"We won't," Izuku said. You hummed in response and fixed your tie.

"Do your best you guys," Inko smiled. You two smiled back and were off.
"Bye mom!"
"Bye Inko!"

"Aw man, I was really hoping to wear my costume," Ashido whined as you and Ojiro put your things in your guys locker.
"Well it's a good thing because we want it to make it fair for others right?" He considered.
"That is fair, not everyone was lucky to be in the hero course remember? Just as long as we work hard, we'll soon wear costumes after graduating" You said. Mina thought and smiled, her cheeks a little pinker.

"You're right (Y/N), let's give it our best!" She fist pumped the air. You smiled and walked over to sit and wait.
"Midoriya," you looked up to see Shoto looking at Izuku.
"From looking at things objectively, it's clear that I'm stronger than you," he said in a monotone voice, though there was an emotion you didn't know.

"Yeah... I guess" Izuku looked down saddened. You felt bad for your friend.
"But, Allmight has his eyes on you doesn't he?" He asked. You suddenly remembered.
'I never told Izuku about me knowing about him and Allmight, and no one else knows,' you furrowed your eyebrows as Izuku froze a little.

"Todoroki I-"
"I'm not going to pry it off of you, but do know that I'll beat you," He stared blankly at Izuku, who's eyes widen. You were about to speak up until he turned to you.
"And (L/N), just because you're known as the dragon hero doesn't mean you're above me in strength, you're hiding something from us and I'll throw you off the hero name," You looked at him, your hind legs sparkled with purple electricity at him saying 'hero'.

"I'm not a hero..." you mumbled.
"And you may be stronger, but that doesn't mean we won't give it our best, I may not want to be a hero, but everyone else does, and they'll do their best to make it to the top," you said sternly, motioning to everyone in the room. They were silent as you and Todoroki stared at each other. Until Kirishima put a hand on your shoulder.

"Hey (Y/N), let's not try and pick fights before the festival starts," he reasoned, which made you let out a breathe of relief.
'What am I doing?' You thought as Present mic was heard from the speakers.

"Hey there listeners!! The sports festival is about to begin, get ready!!!" He yelled out. You jumped and clutched your chest.
"Odin's beard that was loud," you wheezed.

"Look alive everyone! Let's go!!

"Hey everyone!! Welcome to the annual UA sports festival!! Are you ready?!!" The crowd cheered on as from Izuku's home. Inko looked on.
"Come on Izuku, (Y/N)" she said.
"Now, introducing the class that faced on a villain attack, and holding in a certain famous hero, Class 1-A!!" You all soon walked out and you were a little overwhelmed by the many humans that were watching.

You looked around and saw some heroes and the skeleton version of Allmight watching. You gave him a smile and he noticed, looking away with small pink tints in his cheeks.
"Present mic sure did talked all about us, kinda makes me nervous," Kirishima said to you, making you nod in agreement.
"How about you Bakugou?" Bakugou only tsked and smirked.

"I'm not worried at all, makes me wanna win even more," you rolled your eyes in annoyance. How can humans be so overconfident that it's annoying? After the classes were introduced, you all gathered together and saw the hero, Midnight, making you slightly blush at her costume.
'Why do humans can be indecent with costumes, well I guess it's useful for their quirk' You noted.

She whipped out her...well whip and spoke.
"Hello everybody! For the student pledge, we have Katsuki Bakugou from Class 1-A!!" You and Izuku froze as Bakugou walked up to the stage. There was silence as you stared in anxiousness for his words.
'I swear to the Wilderbeast if he says anything egotistical-'
"I just wanna say..... I wanna win" he pledged.

'I KNEW HE WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!' The entire class thought as everyone started booing Bakugou.
"Why do you have to be so disrespectful?! You're representing us all!!" Iida shouted chopping his hands.
"Not my fault you guys are stepping stones," he bluntly says. You sighed disappointingly and facepalmed.
'I knew it. Humans can go suck on a eel'

"The first contest for the festival is gonna be..." the screen was choosing until it stopped on 'Obstacle course race'.
"An obstacle race!!" She exclaimed.

You all stood in front of the door, getting ready for the race to start.
"All eleven classes will participate in this race of 2 1/2 miles of dodging objects that'll block your way!" She whips around her whip and smirked.
"Our school's selling point to freedom whatever your hearts desire as long as you stay in the course"

You turn to see Jiro, Asui, Sero, Koda, and Yaoyorozu.

Ready

"Hey guys," they looked at you.

Set

"Good luck!" You have them thumbs up and a half hearted smile. They blushed and smiled back.

Go!!

'Oh no' you thought as so much humans kept on pushing you and trying to get through the door. You pulled yourself up above them and use your wings to fly out of there. As soon as you did this, ice covered the ground and people were struggling.
'Probably Todoroki,' You felt bad for some and decided to grab a few and pulled them out for them to continue. They thanked you and ran off.

"And already (L/N) has decided to help a few students! That's what a true hero is!!" You internally growled and more purple sparks flowed around you arms now, but shook it off to continue.
"Class 1-A Shoto Todoroki is in first place already and more are catching up!!" You looked upon to see Todoroki running off and slightly turning to meet eye contact with you.

You flew down and used your claws to walk properly on the ice and ran, not wanting to use your wings as an advantage.
You saw Izuku struggling and you stopped to stretch out your tail.
"Zuku-kun!! Grab on!!" He looked at you and grabbed your tail, making you shiver slightly. You basically skated through as Izuku used your tail to glide across.

Then a click was heard and a loud crash was heard. You turn to see a giant green robot looking at you. You paled as Izuku mumbled that it was the same robot from the entrance exam.
"You mean those are the zero pointers?!" You shouted dumbfounded.

"The first barrier, ROBOT INFERNO!!" You heard Present mic yelled out. You growled at the robots was they shot out some kind a fire blasts. You fired back a plasma blast and caused them to collide, making a loud explosion and smoke to surround the robot.

"woah look at that!! (L/N) used a powerful blast to counterattack the missiles!! And Todoroki one ups her and froze them!!" You looked to see Todoroki running off as the other humans said there was a clear path.
'Todoroki didn't make a path, he froze them when they were off balance. He would only do that if it were on pur-' Just then, the robot broke free and fell. You tried to dodge it, but your arm was scraped.

"(L/N) barley dodged that falling robot and only made it out with a scraped arm!!" Present mic yelled.

"What the hell is class 1-A?!"

You hissed in pain as your blood dripped a little and sizzled the floor again.
"(Y/N)! Are you okay?!" Uraraka ran up to you worriedly.
"Yeah, just don't touch my blood," you pointed to the ground as there was now a hole where your blood was. She shivered and nodded and ran.

(Y/N) (L/N)~ Quirk: Dragon!
She said transform into a dragon with all the properties of her type of dragon!!

"Hey lizard bastard!! Get back here!!" You heard Bakugou scream and used his quirk to try and exploded you. You covered your arm and quickly fired a plasma blast.
'Shit, I can't use my spit to heal it if he's near' you flew up to try and avoid him, but he grabbed you legs and pulled you down.
"I'll blast you to oblivion!!" He yelled, but his eyes were still on Todoroki.

"Try me Kacchan" You teased with your famous grin. He growled at the nickname and blasted your legs, making you roar in pain. You swiped your tail and hit him away. He let go and screeched our at you, but your focus was on Izuku who was holding a metal sheet from the robots.
'Guess he doesn't need me for this' you thought proudly and used your wings as your legs were hurt at the moment.

You see Ashido and Uraraka stopping at the cliff with ropes across a wall.
"What is this?" You asked them flyind down. You licked your legs and arm and they healed back up. Ashido shrugged and saw Asui jumping and crawling across the ropes.

"Huh, animal features do help," you whispered. You heard a chuckle and a hand was suddenly on your shoulder. You jumped and turn to see a pink haired humans with some weird things in her.

"Finally, this is my moment to show what I can do!!" She yelled out excitedly.
"My gadgets can outshine these wannabe heroes, OBSERVE EVERYONE!!" You were a little scared of what she was talking about.
"Woah you're from the support class" Uraraka said.
"Hey how come you get to bring stuff like that?" Mina pointed out.

"Remember what I said Mina, since hero course has combat training for your quirks, I think the school wanted it to make it fair and let other class use something else to help them," you explained.
"Your absolutely correct dragon of beauty!! Now watch and learn!!" She ran and used her gadget to spring across. Uraraka and Ashido were annoyed with her calling you beauty.

You used your wings to fly over them and flew to see Todoroki and a field with bumps.
"And here's the final barrier, A MINEFIELD!!" You see Bakugou flying yo towards Todoroki.
"Half and half bastard!! You declared war on the wrong person!!" He yelled attacking him. You sighed and was ready to fly over this field until you stopped.

'Wait... what am I doing? I don't care about being a hero, and if I make it first it'll leave others at the bottom,' You clenched your fists and tucked in your wings behind you.
"I'm not gonna be first..." you mumbled trying to avoid the landmines. You suddenly heard a huge explosion, looking up to see Izuku on the robot sheet and zooming through.
"Woah..." you grinned and now stepped through as Todoroki and Bakugou were blinded by the dust. Thank Odin for your double eyelids.

"WOW!! AND MIDORIYA TAKES THE LEAD WITH TODOROKI, BAKUGOU AND (L/N) CLOSE BEHIND!!" Present mic said. You raced through the mines and accidentally stepped on one. You braced and felt it pushing you and you stumbled into Bakugou and Todoroki.
"What the hell lizard bastard?!" Bakugou pushes you off and ran for it. Todoroki did too, but he grabbed your tail and froze it.

"Sorry, but I have to stop you," he plainly said and ran. You tried to pull your tail, but nothing. You then remembered something.

"DEEEEEKUUUUUUU!!!!!" Bakugou yelled out as the three were neck and neck to the finish. Bakugou blasting his way forward, Todoroki fizzing the ground to glide, and Izuku clutching the metal sheet.
"ITS SO CLOSE TO SEE WHOS GONNA BE FIRST!!" Present mic dramatically said.

Then a roar was heard and they turn to see you flying towards them, grabbing Izuku, flying faster and tossing forward, getting him in first place and you second.
"Go beyond Zuku-kun," you smiled.

"FIRST PLACE GOES TO IZUKU MIDORIYA!!!"
