The gang forms: Part 2

The Gang gains two new members of the party: The loyal Bai Long Ma aka the White Dragon Horse, and the rather flirty Pigsy.

zhínǚ=Niece in Chinese

Percy looks at Macaque and tilts her head. This was an interesting thing to muse over in her spare time. "Maybe this is a test. A test if you'll only save yourself or will you save many? One life or many lives?" She muses with a small chuckle. This sounded a lot like a test.

Macaque glances at Percy before looking at Tripitaka. "So, now what? You have me in your merry band of misfits. What do we need to do now?" He inquired, wanting to see just how this would go for him. Would she be like the Jade Emperor and the rest of the Celestial Realm, or would she be better than that? Only fate would be entirely sure.

Tripitaka looks at the simian. "We still need a few members. Only three of us isn't enough. I am but a mere mortal monk. Perhaps there's more people who are meant to go with us on the journey to the west." He suggests with a small smile. This could go very well. Especially since Persephone had the means to keep Macaque at bay if he ever did anything wrong. Though he could tell that she did not seem like the type to abuse whatever magic and gifts she was given. He can't wait to see what this mysterious lady does during this pilgrimage to the west. Keeping an eye on his disciples, they continued moving westward.

After a few hours of walking both Tripitaka and Percy were feeling a bit tired. Downsides of being mortal, you need rest. Finding a large enough tree to rest under next to a river, the pilgrimage took a break. Tripitaka's horse was left unleashed so they could be free for a moment.

After a few moments Percy went still. "Is it just me or is it too quiet? The horse hasn't whinnied in a while. It's too quiet." She points out before looking at the river. There were ripples in the water that weren't there before. 'Is that Bai Long Ma?' She thought before seeing a large dragon pop out of the water to snatch their horse up. Great now they don't have any means of transportation, unless she were to count Macaque's shadows.

Tripitaka panicked and hid behind a boulder while Macaque decided to try and attack the dragon.

The only female disciple watched as Macaque started to bash the dragon with a dark purple cudgel. Considering her options, she decided to meditate and hoped she could make a quick trip to the astral realm to contact aunt Guanyin.

Focusing her energy, the disciple found herself inside of the Bodhisattva Guanyin's temple. Seeing her temple attendants, the people she saw as cousins working made her smile. That is until one of the attendants panicked at seeing a jade green shimmery version of Percy.

"It's me. I'm fine. So we're in a bit of a pickle. I need to speak with aunt Guanyin. It's a matter of life and death." She says before flinching a bit. The chaos in the physical realm was causing her to flicker in and out, her control waxing and waning as she attempted to get back in control.

A dark haired woman with a vase in her hands entered the room to see her niece or at least her niece's astral form. "Zhin ǚ, what are you doing here?" She asks confused and yet impressed that she seemingly got the astral projection skill understood.

"So we're getting attacked by this river dragon. Could you come down and help calm things down before we get sent to the 10 Kings on a silver platter?" She asks before giving her aunt a nod and returning back to her physical body.

As soon as Percy returned back to her body, she got to watch Macaque get tossed around by the dragon. "Macaque! Retreat. I called in reinforcements." She called out as she watched the dragon toss Macaque in her direction. Ducking, she watched him skid along the ground.

Macaque looked annoyed as he picked himself up. "Who did you get to he-" He got cut off by the smell of Lotus and the sight of a large Lotus blossom floating. 'This mortal got Guanyin to interfere. Oh look at that. The dragon is now a horse. Just who is this mortal?' He thought as he saw the horse move to pick Percy up by her collar. That was such a change between what the dragon acted like just moments before.

After thanking Guanyin and getting Tripitaka on the horse, the pilgrimage continued moving westward.

Tripitaka was busy contemplating and thinking about things. Something about the female disciple rubbed him the wrong way. She somehow managed to meditate while under the onslaught of a dragon. Not even he was able to do that. Also the horse seemed to like her a lot. Was definitely nicer to her.

As they were walking, Percy glanced over at the demon simian who she was bound to. "Say Macaque, I'm sorry for interfering with your fight with Bai Long Ma."

He stops for a moment. "It's fine Princess. You only did what you did to keep the monk alive." He says before ruffling her hair, teasing her a bit. She was so reactive to his teasing.

Now because of all of the traveling they had done, it was soon evening. Which meant finding a safe place to rest. Luckily Tripitaka found a village. He noticed a young man pacing around the village. Walking over to the young man, he inquires as to what was the issue with the village.

The young man spoke about how the patriarch's daughter was married to a charlatan of a husband, A handsome young man who was really nothing more than a pig demon in disguise.

Macaque was too amused by it all. "Oh I'm a pro at kicking demon ass. I can do this." Walking over to the house of the patriarch, he slipped inside. Grabbing the daughter, he handed her off to her father. Shape-shifting into a woman, he waits for Pigsy to return home.

"Honey, I'm home." Pigsy called out before waiting for his 'wife's' response.

Macaque faces him. "Oh darling. They're being so rude to us. They got an exorcist to get rid of you."

The pig demon smirks. "There's not a person alive who can get me."

"Even if it's the great Shadow King Six Eared Macaque?" He asks with a smirk before watching Pigsy panic and run off.
