"About the Secrets. You have no idea how many people came to me asking how we select the secrets and I didn't know! When are you going to select the next ones?"

"Actually, I was thinking about selecting them now..."

Piper jumped again when Claire let out a little yelp, before starting her weird victory dance.

Piper and Claire were sitting on the floor, sorting out secrets from the box.

They were eating their ice cream sitting outside, when someone left the house and started marching in their direction, with an agry expression on his face.

Is that Kyle?

Maybe to take John to do something about football?

Inthe middle of our date? I thought Jason would have warned him.

For Jason's expression, he was equally puzzled about his friend's presence, but he stood up to welcome him either way. When Kyle reached them, his scowl was still clear, even when he attempted to give Piper a smile.

"Hi, Trish, always good to see you. Now, if you excuse me."

Before Piper could blink, Kyle landed a punch on Jason's jaw. Her own jaw hit the floor.

"What the hades?"

Jason, answering his insticts, dodged the next punch, holding Kyle in an headlock instead.

What just happened?

I have no idea...

You know Kyle better than me. Why would he do that? Jealousy?

Kyle? I don't think so, he came to say to us he was happy for us!

What about asking him and maybe releasing him before your boyfriend choke him? I think he's turning a little blue.

Piper snapped back to reality, and true enough, Jason had tighened his grip since Kyle was fighting so hard.

"Ja... John, let him go."

Jason answered her plea immediately, like her voice was laced with charmspeak, letting go of Kyle, standing up and taking a couple of steps from him. Piper grabbed her cup of water that was beside her ice cream and gave it to Kyle, before moving to get between him andJason. Kyle coughed and drank the water to ease the ache at this throat, all the time glaring at Jason.

Are you sure he don't like you more than as a friend?

When Kyle finally said something, his voice was hoarse/

"You son of a bitch, you promised! You said to me you liked Trish for real!"

Piper looked behind to Jason, who seemed just confused as her.

"But I do."

Kyle threw a phone in the ground,one Piper recognized as Jason's and his voice was laced with distaste.

"Then how can you explain a ton of texts to 'Piper'?"

Piper's eyebrows shot up and Jason furrowed his.

"You read my texts?"

"You cheated on her! I thought you were a decent guy. I can't believe I was friends with you!"

Oh, no no no. Quick, fix it!

Piper took a step in Kyle's direction cautiously, like approaching a wild horse. Her tone was the more soothing she could manage.

"No, Kyle, Ja... John didn't cheat on me, and I can explain. The truth is: I'M Piper."

Kyle stared at her with a blank expression before confusion and shock took over.

I would go with either Animal Farm (now I undestand what was behind the story, but when I read it, at 12, it was really weird); or Little Prince, I know there's a legion of fans, but I still find it boring and weird.
