P: Jason, with Trish's help, I'll take less than a minute to find out your adress, just say it already.

J: I want to make this an amazing date. Can you please, help me?

I guess we can be a little girly and wait for his driver to pick us up.

When you went on dates, with Kyle and others, what did you do?

I met them at the movies,restaurant, or whatever. IF I like them, they could bring me home. But I wasn't going to depend on them to leave, in case the date was terrible.

Piper waited for Alfred to open the door, and she exited the car, just to look up and finds out it was Jason who had opened it, and he was smilling at her. Her heart did a little skip.

Okay, I admit it. He's handsome, even more when he's smiling like that.

You didn't think he was handsome before?

I don't know, John is always so serious. Kyle was always charm and smile, no wonder I was more interested in him.

"Good to see you, Pipes. You look beautiful, like always"

And he's cute too.

Can I kiss him?

What? I say he's handsome and cute and you ask if you can kiss him? OF COURSE YOU CAN!!

Piper smiled and kissed Jason full on the lips.

"And you're handsome, like always"

Jason was smiling, and a little surprised from the kiss.

"Come inside, Alfred will take your bag to your room"

Separate rooms?

Jason took a deep breath and faced Piper, like he was ready to confess something.

"Okay, I admit, I asked for help to set this date"

"I know, Percy and Frank. You asked for Percy's help, but Frank was around, so he gave opinions too"

"Yes... how did you know all that?"

"Percy is terrible to hide secrets from Annabeth. And Annabeth tells me everything"

"So... do you think I did bad?"

Piper shook her head and put a hand over his.

"Jason, I know you. You were praetor and now you're pontifex. You're used to make decisions by yourself, everyone looks up to you, waiting for your call, and you got used to decide everything alone, without asking for help, because this could be a sign of weakness. Sure, you got better on Argo II, mostly when you worked side by side with Percy, another one who everyone looked up to leader them. But some things you still think you need to know, by yourself. And I'm sure you thought you should know how to set up a date for your girlfriend, without needing help"

Piper smiled at Jason's sheepish look and moved her other hand to his cheek.

"And I love you for asking for help. I would love a date with you, even if everything went wrong. Gods, I enjoyed going on missions with you, even the ones that almost got us killed, because we got to spend some time together. Everytime I have to use charmspeak, I have to focus on a emotion to make it work. When I put emotion on my voice, that's when I can make everyone listen to me. Almost everytime, I use love on my voice, mostly, the love I feel for you. You help me focus when I'm scared, you have my back when we fight, you help me find my way when I'm lost and you love me back. So any moment we spent together is worthy"

Jason was smiling now, and she was smiling back.

"I love that you thought this date had to be perfect, so you're willing to get over your pride and ask for help, because you wanted this to be amazing. So let me tell you, everything was amazing, from the very second I texted you 'Hi Sparky' because Percy gave me your number. You can relax now, take a deep breath and enjoy this moment as much as I'm enjoying it right now"

Jason closed the gap between them and kissed her with passion. Piper couldn't help but smile in the kiss. Trish was nice enough to keep quiet through all that.

Jason was taking her to his backyard, that was just as huge as the one at Trish's mansion.

"Why are we going there?"

"Well, I know this is not a typical date... you know, movies, etc"

"I told you, I'm loving it as long I'm with you"

"Being demigods, we're not a typical teenage couple. So I thought about making things interesting. Well, actually is wasn't my idea, it was..."

Piper put a finger on his lips to prevent him from talking.

"I don't care who had the idea, just tell me"

"Ok, what about a little competion?"

"A competion? About what?"

"We have three challenges, we thought about make three categories..."

Piper shut him with a quick kiss this time.

"Just tell me the first challenge"

"Okay, what about a race?"

Piper looked around her and noticed the speedway on the backyard.

Okay, John takes fitness seriously.

I guess so.

A little too serious.

Piper smiled.

"With obstacles? What are we waiting for?"

That's cheating, we're going to loose!

Why do you think that?

Because he obviously trains every single day, I only run to get an interview with someone.

Piper was happy to choose to wear shorts and sneakers. And she loved that never crossed Jason's mind she would come wearing heel and a dress. They started to run, and Trish was right, he was faster.

A boyfriend should be a gentleman and let his girlfriend win!

He's a gentleman.

Believe me, he is. And he's going to let us win. He just doesn't know that yet. But he's about to find out.

Piper took a deep breath and prepared herself. When she though the time was right, she let a bloodcurling scream out.

"JASON!"

He stopped dead in his tracks, and started to turn to her. Piper sped up and passed him before he completed the turn. He looked confused at her smiling on the end of the race.

What was that?

Like I said, he's a gentleman. He thought I was in danger, so stoped to help me. I told you he was going to let us win.

So you cheated.
