They had been walking for about an hour now. The gangs effect to the Thunderdrum's roar had finally worn off. For that, Hiccup was definitly thankful for.

Hiccup had his arm around Astrid's shoulders as they walked. All of a sudden, they all came to a thick fog. No one could see a thing.

"This place is so, so-," Fishlegs started but was cut off by Snotlout.

"Creepy? Weird? Anyone else thinks so please raise your hand." The twins immidiatly raise their hands.

Hiccup and Astrid were paying no attention, though. They had just walked out if the fog and had frozen in their tracks at what was in front of them.

Right before them were bones. Not just any ordinary bones. These, were dragon bones.

One by one the gang all stopped when they saw the bones. All but one.

"Oh awsome! Bone graveyard! I love it!" Tuffnut shouted. He looked at the others and saw their glares. "Ok ok. I don't love it?" He shrugged.

Astrid spotted something on the ground. She unhooked Hiccup's arm from her shoulders and bent down to pick it up. It was an amber colored and almost rock like.

"What the fuck is this?" She asked no one in particular.

Hiccup looked at it and just shrugged. "I have no idea." He told her.

All of a sudden, they heard a loud screech. They all knew what it was and it worried them.

"Uh Hiccup? Was that what I think it was?" Fishlegs asked in a small voice.

"Yeah. A dragon. But that wasn't just any dragon call. That was a dragon in distress. C'mon let's go find it. Maybe our dragons are there too." He said and began to walk in the same direction as the dragon.

They walked deep into a canyon. It was nice and secluded so if they hadn't heard the dragon then they wouldn't have guessed that there was a conyon.

When they found the place the noise was coming from they were surprised. There wasn't just one dragon, there were a ton of dragons. But what surprised them the most was that they were all trapped in the amber-like rock.

Alright," Hiccup started, "Let's split up and find our dragons." They all did as told. They all managed to find their dragons but didn't have time to free them because.....

Out of no where, a HUGE orange and purple dragon popped up. It screeched and picked up a dragon that was trapped and flew away.

The riders had all hiden behind rocks when the dragon appeared. "That must be where the sound was coming from. It uses a song to lure in dragons, then it traps them in the amber and....eats them." Fishlegs said.

"Ah ha! Death Song!" Everyone looked at Tuff. "We have to call it something. Besides, it sings a song and brings you to your death. Death Song." He concluded.

Hiccup smiled slightly. "You know, he has a point." He agreed.

When they knew for sure that the Death Song was gone Hiccup ran out and shouted, "Get to your dragons and free them quickly." He ran to Toothless and tried to free him.

"Hiccup! Look out!" Someone shouted. He looked up and saw the Death Song coming straight for him. But a strong force pushed him to the side. He looked up and saw it was Astrid. And she was trpped in the amber cacoon.

"Oh no. ASTRID!!!!" He looked around him and saw that the same had happened to the other. He hated to do it but he knew the only way to save them was to get out of there. So, he quickly got up got and ran to a small crevice.

Unfortunately, the place he rested his foot was not sturdy and he tumbled down. He rolloed down a small hill then came to a complete stop. When he looked up he groaned.

Right in front of him was the Thunderdrum from earlier. "Hehe hey. It's been a long time. Uh remember me?" He chuckled out nervously. There was a loud screech behind him and he looked back to see the one and only Death Song.

The Thunderdrum jumped in front of him and attacked the Death Song. That gave Hiccup time to stand up and grab his shield from his back. He adjusted some buttons and then shot a rope at the Death Song's mouth.

"That won't hold him for long. Ok Mr. Thunderdrum, you're not gonna like this but please try and cooperate." He hopped on the dragons back. As soon as he did, they shot up into the air.

"Oh come on. I asked you to cooperate. Do you ever listen?" All of a sudden it dawned on Hiccup. "Of coarse you don't. I forgot, Thunderdrum's are hard of hearing. Psh can't believe I forgot." He was cut off though as the dragon made a rough landing and sent Hiccup flying off its back.

He slowly stood up and began pacing while thinking aloud. "Why didn't I just leave them on Berk? Why did I leave them behind with that fucking Death Song? Why did Astrid take my place when she's pregnant? Why am I talking to a Thunderdrum who can't even hear me?" It clicked. "Wait a second. You are partly deaf. Which means you can't hear the Death Song's call. It's no wonder you're by yourself. Well guess what? You're going to help me get my friends back and then I'll make sure that the Death Song leaves you alone." He put his hand in front and closed hos eyes. He smiled when he felt the cold scales of the dragon.

He climed up on the dragon and set off back to the canyon with a great plan. He grabbed the Monsterous Nightmare gel that Snotlout had used for a fire the night before. Hs had taken a jar for himself just in case. He wasn't sure if he'd need it but it might come in handy.

Meanwhile, with the other, they were trying to get out of the cacoon's.

"I shoulda known Hiccup would leave us! Why do we put our trust in him?! I need to pee." Snotlout complained.

"Snotlout, for the love of Thor, Hiccup did not leave us. He'll be back. Ugh if only I could reach my knife." Astrid said.

"It wouldn't matter if you could reach it. This stuff is harder than any rock I've seen." Fishlegs pointed out to her.

"Hey stop complaining. You guys have your own nut (get it). I have to share with my fish oily smelling sister!" Tuff exclaimed. He was cut off when something bumped into him and Ruff and knocked them to the other side of the canyon.

"That was awsome! Do it agian!" Tuff yelled.

"Damn it. That didn't work." Hiccup mumbled.

"Please tell me that you came with 2 plans at least?" Astrid shouted so he could hear her.

He thought for a second then snapped his fingers. "You guys, stay where you are. I'll be back." He said then went to get the Nightmare gel.

"Psh. Who the hell does this guy think he is? A comedian? Yeah. REAL FUNNY HADDOCK!!!" Tuff called out.

Hiccup came back and staryed spreading the gel over everyone. Snotlout complained a little but could do nothing else.

When he came to Astrid, she became a bit worried. "Hiccup, will this hurt the baby?" She whispered so none of the others would hear her.

Hiccup just shook his head. "It shouldn't. The baby should be just fine. Trust me?" He looked into her eyes. She nodded and he proceded to pour the gel onto her.

Once he covered everyone in gel he got back on the Thunderdrum. They flew up into the air then came back down and Hiccup set fire to the gel. Everyone was then freed from their little shells.

"Alright. Let's free these dragons." He said. He looked to the left and saw an adolescent[1] Thunderdrum. "So that's why you wouldn't leave. You were trying to protect this one. Snotlout! Get this adolescent Thunderdrum. I'm gonna handle the Death Song! Come on bud."

They flew around for a few minutes b trying to stay clear of the Death Song but also within eyesight. Finally, they found a decent sized cave.

"Perfect. Hey Mr. Death Song, here's your new home. Though what do say we do a little....renovating?" He flew into the cave and the Death Song followed. At last minute he turned around and sped out of the cave.

Once he was clear he shot some rocks above the entrance. They came down and blocked it so the Death Song couldn't get out. "That's not gonna hold him for very long." Hiccup mumbled to himself.

He flew back to the group and to the Thunderdrum's. He looked at them and said, "If I were you, I'd find a new island. It's not safe here."

"Uum you of all people should know that they can't hear you, Hiccup." Tuff said pointing out the obvious.

"Yes yes I know Tuff." Hiccup replied while rolling his eyes.

They all flew off and Hiccup started to speak. "Look, I'm sorry I got you all into this. I would completely understand if you wanted to tur-," he was cut off from his scentence by none other than Astrid.

"No way! One, I've been dying for a new adventure. Two, someone has to keep you in line out here. Might as well be me. Plus I'm your wife so....but, there is one thing."

"You have my full attention, m'lady. Then again, you always have my attention." He replied.

Astrid rolled her eyes and smirked. "Anyway, we need a place we can set up here." She told him.

"She's got a point Hiccup. We are to far to travel between here and Berk." Fishlegs stated.

"You guys are talking about a base of operations. And I completely agree. Snotlout? Why don't YOU try and find an island since you're the one who brought the Monsterous Nightmare gel." Hiccup announced.

"Really?!" Snotlout asked, unbelieving.

"Yeah. Let's go!" Hiccup said back with a smile.

"INTO THE GREAT BEYOND!" Snotlout shouted.

"GREAT BEYOND!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!" Everone else joined and off they flew. Ready to find a better, safer, island.

I had to laugh at this. Whoever cmae up with this is REEEEALLY clever. I love it!!!!!!

Wow. It's only been 2 days since my last update. Now I'm not complaining when I say this, I actually take it as a compliment, I got a boat load of messeges asking me to update. Thank you guys.
