*~2 years later~* 

It was early in the morning while Ruinous stood outside. He was surrounded in a foggy mist that was thick, but it was still seable. He was wearing a dark cloak, so no dragon would recognize him.

He had decided to live with the family after he healed. They had welcomed him with open arms and he finally had a great family. erosion was always there to hang out with and play with. Dorian was a great mom that wouldn't hit him at all. Dravite taught how to fight and defend himself.He learned to use his element, though he promised to restrain from using it in battle unless precautions had been taken or it was dire need. He had been taught a few battle tricks from his dad, so he shared him with Dravite, and together they made up some pretty cool moves along side Erosion.

He was sitting outside waiting. it was the first day of the new year. The dragons had just finished a massive performance for the new year and everyone was calming down.But Erosion and Ruinous had a tradition.

Every time after the performance was over, they would try to set a trap up for their parents.

They had failed last year and hoped to be successful this year. The plan was for when they were walking back from the mountain side they would watch the dragons from, they set a tripwire that was so thin you could barely see it unless right next to it. They put these at each path that their parents would come home from.It would trigger a bucket from above to knock over a bucket with mud and water in it, pouring down below.

They thought this was pretty smart, even though its kinda generic.

But anyways, Ruinous was patrolling the front two paths that would be taken by feet. He planned to add some smoke also for dramatic effect if he caught them in his traps. Erosion was watching the sky route and the water route. They would use their element to let the other know when they caught them.

As he was about to travel to the next trap, he heard a rustle. It sounded like two dragons approaching the trap. He lept into a tree hiding behind a couple leaves and branches. As he sat there waiting, he heard the steps grow closer. When he was sure they were about to fall in, he shot his signal into the air, signaling for Erosion to come.

He looked down at the sound of a shriek, seeing a dragon fall. He smiled and swooped down, throwing random objects at the dragons in laughter, blinded by the water and mud falling down. He heard wings flapping in the distance, recognizing them as Erosion's.

He looked at the dragons, expecting to see his parents.

Oh boy did I mess up, was the only thing he thought as he saw the dragons.

Standing there were two female dragons, one about the age of Ruinous, the other the same age as Erosion. He couldn't pick out what species they were because they were dripping wet in water and mud.

"Ummm..." Erosion said, confused. "Oh my god, were so sorry. We thought you were somebody else please forgive us!" Ruinous said, feeling completely guilty. The two girls looked at them in horror and shock.

The older one mumbled, "Just help clean this off please." Ruinous and Erosion nodded vigorously flying off to the nearby lake. They scooped up some wet leaves and water to clean the mud off. When they arrived back, the dragons were taking with each other, having climbed out of the mud pit they were in.

As Ruinous landed, he said, "We're really sorry, we thought you were some other dragons so we were pulling a prank." The older one took some leaves and water nodding her head. "Its fine dont worry, i just totally wanted to start off my new year with mud and water in my face."

The other laughed as they cleaned up.

"What are your guy's names?" Erosion asked after everyone was clean.

The younger one said,"My name is Erie, and that's my friend Photon."

Now that they were clean they could see what they looked like.

Erie was a Spirit dragon, but instead of all white, she had tads of black on her horns and along her body, as if a painter just streaked black across a piece of paper here and there.

Photon was a dull white that somewhat emitted a blue glow off of her. They both were even smaller than an average Spirit dragon, Photon only coming up to about Ruinous' shoulder height.

They were both somewhat see through and difficult to see in the thick mist.

"Thats some cool names," Ruinous said as he took off his cloak."Im Ruinous and that's Erosion."

Erie looked at Ruinous and immediately went into her ethereal form. 

"It's a Chaos dragon Photon! Quick change to your ethereal form!" She screeched.

Photon turned her head at her and said in a soft voice, "C'mon Erie, he didn't do anything to us did he? Instead he helped us." Erie looked at her in suspicion for a moment, then changed back.

"Heh, sorry if i startled you. This is what happens most times when others see that i'm a Chaos dragon." Erie nodded in apologement and Photon gave a soft smile.

Erosion piped up saying, "So do you guys wanna come hang out with us? Im sure our parents wouldn't mind." Erie jumped up and down. "Yes!!! We should totally do that. We don't have to ask our parents we mainly live in the woods by ourselves. So go ahead and lead the way." Erosion smiled jumping into the air, Erie close to follow.

Before Ruinous jumped off into the air, he turned to Photon saying, "Thanks for not being scared of me." Photon nodded her head and smiled. "Lets go," She said jumping off after the others. Ruinous smiled, following after her.
