Chapter Four
Around 7 years later
Third Person POV
"Percy, Percy wake up!" Annabeth whisper-shouts to a sleeping Percy.
"Hmmm" Percy mumbles causing Annabeth to smile.
"Percy, don't make me take drastic measures" Annabeth warns but still a snore erupts from Percy's mouth. "Okay, you asked for it" she says before standing up on his bed and jumping in the space all around his sleeping form. A small shriek comes from Annabeth as Percy wraps his arms around her legs before she could continue her jumping, resulting in Annabeth falling down next to Percy, them both in a fit of laughter.
"So why did you wake me up at" he took a moment to look at the clock, "7:00 in the morning."
"Today is the first day of camp!" She replied with a smile.
"You seem more excited than anyone, ever" he stated with a laugh which Annabeth joined in soon after.
After a half and hour long rant about how amazing this summer is going to be, Percy finally convinced Annabeth to go back to sleep.

Annabeth's POV
"Annabeth, time to wake up so we can leave soon" someone said in the distance. "Annabeth" he said in a sing-song voice. I was finally awake enough to notice that Percy was trying to wake me up. I flipped over to face him and opened my eyes a little to see him standing there in his boxers and a t-shirt.
"Fancy outfit" I mumble, causing him to laugh.
"Mom says we have to get up" he said. "She said she was making breakfast."
I sat up as soon as he said the word 'breakfast' I raised my arms in a lazy attempt to get a piggy back ride. He turns around and I latch myself onto his back, wrapping my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.
"Good morning, Annabeth, Percy" Sally says as Percy drops me into my seat at the island with him taking the seat directly to my right.
"Goodmorning, Sally" I say brightly as she places a stack of pancakes in front of Percy and I. We both begin to devour the pancakes that we were given as Sally begins to talk.
"So, today is your first time going to camp" she says with a smile.
"I'm so excited!" I say in excitement.
"I noticed" Percy grumbled.
"Awww, don't be so sad Percy-wercy" I say fighting a smile but failing.
"Don't call me that" he says with a frown.
"I can call you whatever I want to call you"
"Okay, that's it" he says picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.
"Percy!" I yell.
"Yes?" he says and I can sense the smirk in his voice.
"Put me down!"
"Nope!"
"Seaweed Brain!" I whine.
"Wise Girl" he whines in the same tone of voice, mocking me.
I start to pout when he sets me back down.
"Thank you" I say with my arms folded.
"Alright, you two. Go get ready for camp" Sally says with a smile.

I put on my high waisted dark wash shorts with my newly bought Camp Half-Blood T-shirt. I can't believe I can finally go to Camp!
"Annabeth!" Sally calls to me.
"Coming!" I shout back grabbing my backpack and suitcase, rushing down the stairs. "I'm here" I say with a bright smile.
"Time to go" Percy says with a smile.
***
"Look at it, Percy!"
"Mhm"
"It's amazing!"
"Mhm"
"I can't believe we get to stay here!"
"Mhm"
"I wonder what godly parent we have"
"Mhm"
"Are you even listening?"
"Mhm"
"Tell me what I just said"
"Mhm"
"Seaweed Brain!"
"W-What?" he says quickly, knowing he was in trouble.
"Did you listen to a thing I said?"
"N-no" he says nervously.
"Fine."
"Really?"
"Yup"
"Wow, Annabeth"
"Now you get to unpack my stuff" I say with a smile. He groans in return as we park the car.
He sighs, "Okay"
I rush out of the car and grab my bag handing it to Percy for revenge while giving him a sweet smile. He rolls his eyes.
"Piggy back ride?" I say.
"No."
"Please"
"No."
"Please"
"Fine"
I jump onto his back as Sally, Percy and I walk up the hill toward the entrance.
"This is as far as I can go" Sally says sadly. I slide off of Percy's back and give Sally a hug.
"Thank you" I say. This woman gave me a loving home and that is the most I could ask for. She kisses my forhead along with Percy's and says, "No matter what godly parent you have, don't grow apart" she says with a sad smile. We nod.
"Goodbye, Percy. Goodbye, Annabeth"
"See you at the end of the summer" Percy and I say.
"I love you both" she says with tears in her eyes.
Percy and I both reply with "I love you's" of our own and give her one last hug before walking toward our home for the rest of the summer.

After meeting the camp director, Chiron, and meeting some other campers, we both got settled in the Hermes cabin.
Overall, it was a great day. Until the campfire and our godly parents were discovered...
