Fernando's POV

"Stop!" I yelled at her and she flinched from me frightened.

I sat up panting heavily like I just had a nightmare. Of course, it's a nightmare but that of reality. When Micaela started caressing me, I loved it at first but gradually I became uncomfortable and flashbacks of that night I was raped came to mind and it knocked off the pleasure I was having completely. I couldn't keep faking I was enjoying her touch when I wasn't anymore so I had to scold her to stop touching me.

I sweep my face with my hands and then I gaze up at her. She was in shock and was shivering, that instant I regretted raising my voice at her. It wasn't her fault I was a victim of rape so it's not cool to make her feel guilty over what she's innocent of. I pull up my joggers and stood up from the bed and walked up to her. I squat in front of her and held her hands.

"I'm sorry on my own, I'm sorry I didn't mean to raise my voice at you. I was just...."

"It's okay. I understand what happened, you had a flashback of your past isn't it?" She cuts me off mid-sentence. I guess she has known me too well already, or maybe she's a mind reader.

"Yes, it's an unforgettable incident that no matter how hard I've tried to forget, it's not working. What happened has nothing to do with you though, so I shouldn't treat you the way I just did. Our relationship can't work if I keep doing that, right?" I asked and she nods slightly.

"Ferd, I'm not after sex with you. We can keep sex aside until when you are fully ready to do this. Victims of rape always have an unforgettable memory of the incident, so I understand what you must be going through. I'm ready to wait for you until when you feel you are over it".

"Are you sure you can wait? Are you sure it's not going to affect our relationship? I mean I'll be depriving you of something you should be doing you know. Do you love me enough to wait for me to recover?" I ask fixing my gaze on hers.

This is a tough decision for her, she's a grown woman, she waiting for me to recover from my past is like I'm depriving her of something so important which is lovemaking.

"I love you so much, Ferd. I'm willing to wait as long as you want. Take your time, my love. I'm right here waiting for you anytime any day. Love is patient, so I'm patient enough to see you get over this. We can do this together trust me" She squeezes my hands gently and I smiled in response.

"You are such a sweet angel. I know with you I'll be healed completely and I'll no longer have fears over that night anymore. Thanks for coming into my life, and thanks for being such an understanding woman. I love you Micaela" I said cupping her face into my hands and I kissed her so deeply. "Come here" I helped her up to the bed and we lay back down under the duvet cuddling each other.

"Thanks for loving me, Ferd. I love you so very much. I'd die if anything should happen to you".

"Hey babe, don't say that. Nothing is going to happen to me neither to you. You and I will be together forever, I promise".

She jerks up and looks into my eyes, "You promise?".

"Yes, I promise, my own" I answered and kissed her forehead, and snuggle her next to me. Stillness filled the room and it was a comfortable stillness.

"Are you leaving tomorrow morning?" she suddenly asks.

"Do you want me to leave?" I returned the question.

"No! I want you to stay with me forever, I don't want you to leave" she replies almost immediately.

"Your wish is my command, my lady" I answered back chuckling and she giggled and kissed me.

"Thank you".

"No, you shouldn't be thanking me, I should be thanking you".

"But why are you thanking me?"  She asked and I gave a sharp sigh.

"For coming into my life. I spent just two days with you for the very first time and it was like I've known and been with you almost all my life. Imagine what happened in my life this past month knowing someone like you existed. Should I tell you something?"

"Tell me".

"You won't believe it but I'll tell you. I was so scared of coming back here to see you. I thought you must have been dead before I come to get you".

"Really?!"

"Yes. I thought you must have carried out your plan of...."

"I didn't!" She cuts me off. "I didn't because of you. I was waiting for you to come back for me and..." silence follows suit "and I'm happy you did" You did.

"Thank you for staying alive for me. If you had died before I got here, I wouldn't have ever forgiven myself for not protecting you".

"Hey don't say that, that's now in the past. What matters most is you kept your promise".

"Yeah, yeah I did" I replied and peck her forehead. "So where are you taking me tomorrow?"

"Nowhere" she answered and snickered.

I gave a frown that she wasn't even seeing. "Nowhere?"

"Yeah. Were you expecting me to take you somewhere tomorrow?"

My frown deepens at her question and I kept silent for a couple of seconds. "Not really, was just asking" I forced a smile and rub her arm.

"Okay," she replied, and then silence follows for a few seconds. The next minute she burst into a fit of laughter and I gave a frown and brows twitched confusedly at what was amusing. She wiggles free from my arms and sat up and she gave me a wide grin.

"What is amusing?" I shrugged and she shook her head.

"I was only kidding, my darling. I do have a place to take you to tomorrow or let's say today because is already past midnight" She giggles and a smile slipped its way to my lips.

"Really? But why did you have to prank me like that?"

"I wanted to see your reaction first" she replied and my mouth formed an 'o'. "Why wouldn't I take my darling out? That was why I asked if you were leaving in the morning because I want to take you to a secret place meant for just you and me".

Her smile grew bigger and I gave a toothy grin. "A secret place for just you and I?"

"Yes, my darling. You'd love it when you see it".

I stared at her with a blank facial expression and she stared right back at me. "What, you don't like to go out with me?" she asks and puckered her lips like a kid and I snorted.

I scoot over to her and pecked her cute pinky lips. "Try pouting like that again and I'll kiss you one more time".

She laughs throwing her head backward and a huge grin spreads on my face. "Just one more time?" she puckered her lips again daring me. I didn't hesitate to kiss her lips again when she did that and she giggles.

"Do that a million times and I'll kiss you a million times" I answered and she laughs and puckered her lips for the umpteenth time and I didn't hesitate to kiss them so deeply. I love the fact she's daring me and I'm in for the game she's trying to play.

I wasn't the only one doing the kissing, she was responding to my kisses and giggling at the same time. I love how she laughs, is so pleasant to my ears. "Should...I…continue?" I asked between kisses and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"What if I already stopped puckering my lips?"

"I'll still kiss you. You can't escape my kisses" I answered and place kisses all over her face while she giggled.

"I don't wish to escape from your kisses either, my king" she whispers and I kissed her passionately.

"I won't stop either" came my reply and we kissed for I don't know how long but we were glued to each other until we heard a knock on the door disrupting our lovely moment. "Who isn't sleeping by this time?"

"I don't know, perhaps Sabrina or Ji-hye" she replied and let go of me.

"What would they be looking for by this time of the night?"

"I have no idea. C'mon let's see what's going on".

"Don't worry, I'll check and get back to you" I replied and stood up from the bed and headed for the door. When I opened up guess who it was? "Sabrina!" I half-exclaimed her name forcing out a brief smile.

"Oh-oh, sorry, I see you two were...." She paused and peep into the room while I adjusted my body simultaneously to avoid her seeing anything. "You're obstructing my view" she whines pouting.

"Did you forget something in here?!" I growled.

"Not really, just wanted to tell you guys to keep your voice down and oh....turn off the lights!" She squealed giggling and scurries off from wherever she had come from. I stood there gaping in the empty hallway.

Can you imagine that? Did she come all the way to remind us to turn off the lights? I stepped back and shut the door close so that I can give her friend the gist of what just happened but she was already standing behind me giggling.

"She's like that, don't worry you'll get used to it soon," she said and hugs me while I stood there in disbelief at the level of nosiness someone named Sabrina possesses. Are you sure I'll be able to deal with that?
