A yet another day starts but it's not a normal day like others. But it's very important today I hunt my most important prey. I am not without any plans. I got ready and went downwards and faisu bhai did his work pretty fast. my family was told to go for a tour so they are not here it's dangerous for them to meddle in this.

"Good morning amore" sid wished me.

"Good morning devil," I said returning the smile.

"what's your plan," asked Jannat.

"Just know that I will kill him and what you have to do? I will tell when it's time." I said they nodded.

"Take care you both" Said Faisu bhai. we nodded and exited the house.

"Where are we going," He asked once we were in the car.

"I expected this question but sooner," I said.

"then why didn't you told me sooner," he said rolling his eyes.  

"Oh, com'on I wanted to hear your voice baby!" I said dramatically.

" look at you being dramatic like you are not going to kill Pavel," he said.

"Pavel?" I asked him

"Oh you didn't know?" he asked I creased my eyebrows in confusion.

"Pavel is nick's Mafia name" he continues while I mouth an "oh".

"I would love to go on a long drive to a unspecific destination but do think it's the correct time?" he says snapping me out of my thoughts. and I stared at him in confusion.

"what," I asked him cluelessly.

"cause madam, you still didn't answer my question. Where are we going?" He said with sarcasm dripping his word. I chuckled.

"Devil, you know? Enemy's Enemy is Friend" I said with a massive smirk and he returned the smirk understanding what I mean.

"Drive to Unicon," I said to Siddarth and he nodded. Unicon is a Multinational Company.

Soon enough we reached there and went to the receptionist 

"Hello madam How may I help you?" Asked the receptionist.

"I am Mia I have an appointment with Ms Danica," I said and introduced myself with a fake name if she knows my real name she will never agree to meet. Ya we don't have a nice relation and who I want to meet is not her but she is the way to meet him.  

Siddarth looked at me with a frown when I introduced myself as mia. I winked at him. Soon enough we reached her office.

"Come in" I heard her saying.

"How are you Avneet?" she asked with a smirk without sparing a glare on me.

"So you did know it's me," I said to her returning the smirk.

"Ofcource I did do you think I don't know your hobby of faking identities after all we were partners once a time," She said without dropping the smirk.

"In your dictionary do you call "partner" those who betray? Cuz I am sorry in my dictionary Partner is not someone who betrays but stays loyal." I said reminding both of us of the past. Here the only sid couldn't understand what's going on but he chose to keep his mouth shut and I am glad. He knows I will tell him when it's time.

"I won't repeat myself again I was not a betrayer," She said and I scoffed.

"By the way who is this hot pants?" she says tracing sid's chest.

"Get yourself some other slut, Not my man Rhea" I warned her with a dangerous glare.

"Woah Woah your man? you got a man and you do seem serious about him" She says smirking.

"Keep your mouth shut Rhea I have never dated someone for fun," I said 

"Ya that's true tho cuz you have never dated anyone either way as well," she says with a mocking smirk.

"Even Jay propose but you turned him down," she says without dropping the smirk. 

"Quit playing hard to get rhea!! Do you think I am dumb? I knew you loved him and I didn't want to steal my best friends crush cause the old dumb me thought of you as a friend but no more." I said as my voice cracked a bit. 

No matter how strong you act meeting your ex-best friend is never easy rather it's harder than meeting your ex-boyfriend. She looked away hiding her tears.

"Whatever!! why did you came here?" She said hiding her tears and morfing her face back to the bitchy mode. I loved her this mode back then.

"I want to meet jay," I said plainly.

"uh-huh, what makes you think he will meet you," she says.

"As bitchy as it sounds I have a deal for him," I said and she looked at me with disbelief before giving a humourless chuckle.

"And what can it be which will melt his 5 years hatred for you," she asks.

"Call him," I said blankly and surprisingly she does it without any question and I am glad.

"Jay, Ric is here," she says giving me chills because of that name that was something only they both dares to call me. I know that name sounds masculine and that's exactly why they called me that cause I was a very masculine type girl back then. I smiled as I remembered all that but...

"Yes, we were betraying you. Happy?"

"Yes all the time" 

"We were taking advantage of you"

I jerked back to reality with those memories. Why did they do that? everything was perfect but..

"Ric" I heard the voice Which I longed to hear for years.

"Jay Hey," I said not knowing what to say. Then I turned around.

"Siddarth go down and soon I will send you a location drive there ok?" I said and he denies.

"Siddarth plz hmm?" I said giving him a kiss on his forehead and whispered a go. I can't believe that this man is Alex. He left 

"What do you want Ric?" asked Jay.

"Ashley! I have her details," I said

"What? impossible I will shoot all six bullets into your head if you are kidding" He threatened me.

"was that supposed to be a threat? Anyways why will I be kidding do you think I am dumb that I will come to my 5-year-old ex-best friends to kid with them?" I said to him.

"Ok when will you give it to me?" he asked.

"Right now I am with rhea. right here" I said

"Rhea lead her to my cabin," he says to her

"Yes sir," she says and I followed Rhea towards the tunnel.

"I didn't ask in front of that guy but he looks familiar." Said rhea

"Alex" was all I said.

"Mafia king Alex?" she asked me to confirm and I nodded.

"Yes and since you asked me a question I will also ask to make it even," I said and nods giving her consent.

"I heard you calling him sir that means you are still too scared to confess to him?" I said and she chuckled humorless ly.

"I am not sure if he moved on," She said as she opens the door of his cabin and walks in and I followed her.
