A few days later, Buffer's POV

"Dream! Get back here! I got something for you!"I say, chasing after him through the halls

"Nooo! I have to go Buffer!"He says

"It'll be quick! Don't make me force you to take it! It's for your own good!"I tell him

"Good luck with that, Buffer. Boss says that it's a skullache just to get him to take medicine for his own good."Dust says as I run past him

I sigh, slowing in my tracks.

"Fine."I say, snapping my fingers

A buffering chip pops up between my fingers and I toss it, pinging Dream in the head and sticking quickly. He is forced to slow down and I catch up to him at long last. I take out a necklace with a golden sun symbol at the center of the string and put it on him.

"Given what has happened to you lately, I thought it would be best to code one up for your safety. You're welcome."I say, removing the chip from him and walking away

I continue on my way around the castle to find Killer, Horror and Dust to give them enchanted items for their protection in the same way that my gift protects Error. Speaking of which, I have to return it to him now that I upgraded it. I search the entire castle for him but can't locate him. I find his crown resting on the table beside the bed.

"Has anyone seen Error?"I ask

"He was last in his room as far as I know."Dust says

"I saw Killer drag him out to check on something in another AU."Horror says, glancing into the room

"What are you talking about? I just woke up."Killer says

It is silent for a few moments.

"DAD!"Horror shouts, running to Nightmare's room

Slam!

"WAKE UP!"Horror exclaims

Killer and Dust quickly follow to explain and I could hear Nightmare grumble as he wakes up. Dream walks up beside me and opens a portal.

"Can you come with me? I have to deal with Nim."He says

I glance at him, tilting my head confusedly.

"Why even go to that troublemaker?"I ask

He shows a note that reads:"You cannot just leave. You have a job and can't become one of THEM. I already handled that X boy, now I am handling a glitch that owes me. Who else do you want me to get before you return to your senses? You know where to find me.-Nim"

I frown, seeing how it upsets him as well.

"I'll join you."I say

We walk through, finding Nim on the other side.

"Nim, what did you do with Error? And I swear if you try anything to harm any of them, that I will-"Dream begins

"Oh relax. He is just repaying me something that he has owed me for a long time. He knows it too and has stalled despite my reminders. He is currently with Destinia to be tested on. And I will continue to do everything I must to put you back in your place."Nim says

"What..?"Dream says

Nim steps forward, only to be shot five times by Dream who got unsettled by the sudden movement. I know from Error's complaints exactly what he means.

"Dream, I think it's obvious what Nim means regarding Error....You might be getting a few nephews or nieces..."I say

"Correct! I am getting the grandchildren I desire! Though of course Destinia isn't sure if they're meant to be together so they're seeing who the kids would look best depending on who he ends up with. Some code mixing with checmicals and his soul seems enough for the job to be done. I'm eager to see the results."Nim says

"As happy as I'd be to be an uncle, now is not the time or way."Dream says, aiming another arrow at Nim

"I'll go find Error, but do you need help?"I ask

He shakes his head.

"I got a plan."He says

I open a portal to Destinia's location, quickly going through to find the halls of concrete painted white around me.

"How the hell did you find it that easily?"Nim snaps

"Hmm, maybe it's because there are few to none other figures with Destinia's name and code?"I say as my surroundings load into my vision. Then the portal shuts and my phone rings with a call from Nightmare.

"WHERE DID YOU AND MY BROTHER RUN OFF TO?!"He snaps as soon as I answer

"I went with him to see Nim after she basically threatened everyone in that castle and admitted to abducting Error. Dream is currently handling her and I've reached the location that Error got taken to."I say quietly, carefully creeping around the walls

"Okay, I am coming."He says

"Umm, you sure you want to come here?"I ask

"Why wouldn't I want to come help my boyfriend?"He growls

"Well, he got sent by Nim somewhere to give her what she feels that she is owed...Though she doesn't care who from or how at this point...And I am sure you know what she feels that she owed from him."I say

"No....He isn't...I won't let them-!"He says, sounding horrified

Then another call comes in, coming from Error telling by the ringtone. The thing is, I can hear it echoing from down the hall.

"I have to call you back."I say, hanging up on Nightmare and picking up as I follow the phone ringing noise.

"BuFfEr? WhAt aRe yOu dOiNg aNd wHy diD i hEaR nIgHtmArE?"Error asks

"I'm coming to get you out of here. Are you alright?"I reply

"FiNaLlY gOt a bReAk..Be cArEfUL, BuFfEr, I dON'T wAnT yOu tO bE cAUGhT aNd mEsSeD wItH nExT. i hAvE cHaInS hOlDiNg mE dOwN, aS iF i ReAlLy hAvE tHe stReNgTh tO gEt uP rIgHt nOw. Oh aNd tHe liFe iS gEtTiNg suCkEd oUt oF mE tHr0uGh aT lEaSt sEv3n diFfErEnT sTrInGs, bUt i aM nOt hUrT eXaCtLy. JusT dRaInEd."He tells me as I follow his voice to his room

I slip inside, shutting the door and hanging up. I see a lot of pillows and blankets laying around, then notice a glass wall reinforced in the middle of the room with a fence and gate blocking it. I see chains dangling from the ceiling, leading down to Error's wrists and ankles. His soul hovers in the air, tied with seven different colors of strings that each lead to various souls of little baby skeletons laying around him. Some of them are easier to figure out the other parent than others. There were three with a silver string tying them to Error who looked like Outer's kids, then four brown strings tied to kids looking like Ink. Two red strings lead to babies looking like Fresh.

Uugh, poor Error having that mixed with him. Are they really wondering if he should end up with the parasite he hates?

Then there are SIX yellow strings leading to babies looking like Dream, another six purple strings leading to babies looking like Nightmare. They really need so many to decide between the two brothers? Then three black strings for babies looking like Reaper and one pink string to a baby looking like Lust. So yeah, he has over a dozen baby souls connected to his soul. Twenty-five souls linked to him. No wonder he is so drained.

I lock the door and frown, seeing him lay back against the rough stone wall with his eyes blurring behind his glasses.

"HuH...? WhAt...?"He says, the babies crawling all over him as his glitching picks up

Hey, Error. Don't worry, it's me."I say

"ThAnK tHe sTaRs. I cAnNoT haNdLe suPpOrTiNg aNoThEr sOuL."He says

"Nobody is coming in here. You are safe now."I say

"I cAn'T rEaLlY lEaVe s0 tHat iS a r3LiEf. ThEsE kIdS aRe 0nLy h3r3 beCauSe tHeY cAn sUcK 3nErGy fr0m mY s0uL uNtiL dEstiNiA d3ciDeS wiTh n1m wHiCh t0 k3ep."He sighs, shaking his head

"Is there a way for me to get to you?"I ask

"Th3r3 iS a wiNdoW tHat cAn sLid3 oPeN iN tHe gLaSs bY tHe gaTe bUt tHaT iS aLl I kNoW."He says, his eyes shutting

BOOM! CRASH!x4

"GLITCHY!"I hear Nightmare yell, waking Error up.

"He probably tracked my phone."I say, seeing the babies snuggle closer to him out of fear of the unknown voice.

Loud pounding starts echoing and causing the door to bend.

"OPEN UP! NOW!"Nightmare growls

I open the door and he quickly zips inside with his sharp tentacles raised high. I shut the door, locking it.

"Glitchy? Where-?"He begins

"He's trapped there and drained. I just got some answers from him."I say

He glances over as Error dozes off again, freezing up in shock.

"What the hell....?"He mumbles
