Error's POV

I glance around as they gather around me.

"I'm guessing that this experiment is why my Nightlight is missing today..."A human version of him says

I feel tentacles wrap around me and see a literal walking octopus with some clothes on and tentacles for arms.

"Figment, be gentle with him."The tiny wasp version of him says

"Bossy much?"Figment says

"He's just upset that his precious spider isn't with him."The female versions of Nighty chuckle

"And to think I was going to go on a date with my Error after class without issue. Such wishful thinking."Another version of him says

"Rough day of teaching, NAJ?"Another asks

He nods

Then a little child version of him runs over and hops into my lap, looking up at me in tears.

"Where's my Ewwor? He disappeared!"He asks

"He Is oKAy, i aSsUrE yOu."I tell him

"I want my Ewwor! I love my Ewwuh!"He says

I smile, finding him adorable.

"I am guessing that my Error is with your Nightmare if they're in an experiment similar to ours."Empire says

I nod.

Then I get an injection into my arm.

"Now none of you can leave until morning. We'll see the inverse of the situation when you only have access to one Error."A voice says

"Wait...so you're our Ewwuh for the night?"The child version of him says

"Sems l1kE iT."I say

He smiles, snuggling closer into my lap.

The others take out their phones, calling and discussing things with their Errors, making sure that they're okay. I take out my phone, calling Nighty. And this time, he picks up.

"HeY nIgHtY. Y0u aLrIgHt?"I ask

"Glitchy, where are you right now? What's Phase Four?"He asks

"SeEmS liKe i aNd tHe NiGhTmArEs Of tHe eRrOrs yOu wErE wiTh gET a tUrN aT tHe tEsT. I aM loCkEd iN a r0oM wiTh tHeM aNd aLreAdY gOt ThE iNjECtIoN f0r tHe nIgHt."I say, seeing them each use magic to change into pajamas.

"Uggh, so much for our date."He groans

"It'S aLrIgHt, tHeRE iS aLwAyS nExT tImE."I say, then feel tentacles pick me up

I see them carrying me onto a bed and then start working together to surround me in pillows.

"Just make sure they don't try anything funny, alright? Don't let them get close to you tonight."He says

"LiKe yOu kEPt tHeM oFf oF yOu? I'Ll bE sUrE nOt t0 c0mE oUt cOvErEd iN liPsTiCk."I ask with a chuckle

"Hey! I know I'm clingy so I don't want THEM getting like that with you!"He snaps

"UnDeRsToOd, NiGhTy. ClEaN yOuRsElF uP aNd rEsT wElL."I say

"Okay...Love you..."He says, hanging up

I smile as the child version of Nightmare yawns, snuggling close to me as he dozes off. I see that I am surrounded in bed by a barrier of pillows as the other Nightmares climb into bed.

"WhAt'S tHiS?"I ask

"It's a pillow barrier for your comfort. We of all people know how sensitive you are to touch, especially unfamiliar touch. This is to prevent you from getting overwhelmed and crashing. We don't want any harm to come to our precious Glitchy, no matter what version you are."Empire says, the rest nodding

I smile at them.

Always so considerate.

"We are only clingy to our individual Glitchy."A human version of him says

"And boy do they remind us how clingy we are."Another chuckles

"Rest well, Error."NAJ says, turning out the light as they all lay down

I smile, dozing off and feeling the pillows press closer into me as they get comfortable as well as the soft beat of the sleeping child on my chest. When I wake up the next morning, I find that the room is packed with multiple other versions of me reuiniting with their version of Nightmare.

"Testing has ended. You may all leave."A voice says

The kid version of Nightmare sits up, glancing around.

"Ewwuh...? What's goin' on?"He asks

"It'S oVeR nOw. YoUr ErRoR sHoUlD bE hErE."I say, then hear a gasp

I glance over, seeing a child version of me spot him in my lap.

"NiGhTy!"He squeals, running over quickly and knocking anyone in his way aside

He leaps up, knocking me into the pillows as he hugs his Nighty on top of me. I smile as they talk too fast for me to understand, yet look so adorable as they hug each other and press kisses onto each other's foreheads with tiny tentacles wagging. A tiny portal opens and they run eagerly away through it, waving to me with big smiles. I open a portal back to the castle and step through, going to Nighty's room. I step inside, hearing soft snores. I glance in the bed, seeing a tiny Nightmare sleeping on the pillow. Looks like Nighty shrunk down...He probably annoyed Bitty!Nightmare, who has a bite that could even the playing field in anyway that he wishes according to a code screen I opened on him. Once bitten, he could take the situation under his control by either growing to the same size as the victim or shrink the victim down to his size, sometimes smaller if he really wishes for that.

And how do I know that it's my Nighty?

Maybe it was the fact that he is still covered in lipstick marks. I shake my head, gently picking him up and going to the bathroom. He slowly opens his eye, glancing at me and squeaks.

"MoRnInG nIgHtY. I s3e tHaT y0u d1d n0t liStEn tO mE. YoU cAn wAsH uP aNd i wiLl cLeAn tHe piLlOwcAs3 y0u ru1nEd."I say, setting him in the plugged sink that has become a soapy bath for him.

He nods and I go to clean the bed but smile, knowing that I'll have to help him today since the bite could last the entire day. I shake my head, hearing him squeak in the bathroom when I returned from putting the mess in the washing machine with fresh sheets on the bed instead. He keeps shouting, only sounding like squeaks. Then a tentacle, newly cleaned, stretches out to grab my finger to pull me into the bathroom. He smiles when he sees me come back in, his tiny eye a heart.
