Shehnaaz was all engrossed in her research and work the whole week. She was always an excellent student but still she was putting more efforts this time to get the best results. She was discussing with her friends and also taking help of Sidharth from time to time or whenever required without any hesitation and on the other hand Sidharth was as always ready to help anyone or everyone whoever needs any kind of help , he was feeling good and happy by seeing that students are taking it seriously and making efforts.........especially Shehnaaz.....he was happy to see her enthusiasm. It was friday means finally weekend and everyone will get a little relax from their busy schedules.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz met in the park as last time, they talked and shared their thoughts regarding work and their other interests. They were now becoming more comfortable with each other.....atleast now they can talk to each other without thinking much or without  the fear of judgement......which was their in the first place.

Shehnaaz also told him about her dream of going Singapore for higher studies happily and he too was happy by seeing her sharing her thoughts and dreams with him. Sidharth also told her he will be available everytime if she needs any help regarding this which made her heart flutter in happiness...........seeing how helpful and caring he is towards everyone and is always ready for their help.

It was monday means working day. Shehnaaz and other students submitted their assignments and now waiting for their grades what wlse they could do.

"I have never worked for a single assignment like this ever........and you Shehnaaz you were working like your paper will be published tomorrow internationally.............and this Mayank made me work a lot this time......so you are going to pay for  our food this time as a compensation"Raavi said gobbling pizza in her mouth like never before making Mayank roll his eyes and Shehnaaz and Rehaan burst into laugh seeing the condition of poor Mayank

"Yeah......like i am the one who will get your grades.........even you should thank if it is not me this time or every time ......you are not able to submmit your any work even after the one month of submission date and here see.....i have to make the compensation"Mayank said shaking his head in disappointment

"Yeah........whatever"Raavi said nonchantly

"Not whatever.......it is the fact"Mayank said

"So you want to say i make you do my work always.......am i dumb?"Raavi said shooting daggers at him

"I am not saying anything like this Raavi"

"Noooo.....you are saying exactly like this" She said getting more angry still not leaving any chance to have her food in between

"Raavi please......don't start again yaar" Rehaan said

"Yeah....yeah....yo will say to me only........didn't you see what your friend was saying to me"Raavi said glaring Rehaan

"Shhhhh......not now.....you both stop it......no more fighting......."Shehnaaz said with the finality in her tone

"It's time  to celebrate ...It's Rehaan's birthday in few days.....we need to plan"Shehnaaz said cheerfully patting Rehaan's shoulder

"Woww.....i am so happy" Rehaan said faking excitement

"Are you guys really my friend......you should plan a surprise party for me or  do something like......plan for a gift and all.......and here you are discussing about my birthday by sitting in front of me"Rehaan said faking anger

"What is the benefit Rehaan........everyone knows it never remain surprise for you ....you always get to know about it....so what is the benefit of hiding it from you"Shehnaaz laughed

"Still, you guys can pretend atleast to plan it without my knowledge like me....as i do every year" he said

"Awwww........so what do you want in your surprise birthday party and gift Rehaan" Everyone said pulling Rehaan's cheeks and burst in laugh at the end

"Nothing" Rehaan said and atlast joined them in laughing

After four days it's Rehaan's birthday and all the four friends wished him in the midnight through a video call and spent more than two hours in their chit- chat

"Once again Happy Birthday Rehaan...now i am going to sleep ...byeee" Shehnaaz said and bid their goodbyes and went to sleep as they have to attend the college too next day

Next day in the morning everyone reached college with excitement and why not it is their bestfriend's birthday and they have made it a rule for every year that on birthdays they will celebrate that day to the fullest......movies, parties, dance and especially food on the same person's home and no excuses are allowed to anyone.......whatever the situation is they have to follow the rule and for that one day other three have to do whatever the birthday boy or birthday girl wants them to do. They all reached their class and found Rehaan already present there
"Happy Birthday broo" Mayank wished Rehaan by hugging him so tightly untill he gets difficulty in breathing

"It's my birthday why are you keen to make it my death day......leave me i can't breathe you stupid people"Rehaan said to both Mayank and Raavi who were hugging him tightly and not letting him breathe properly

"Shutup.....watch your words before letting them split out of our mouth......nonsense"Shehnaaz said smacking his shoulder

"Ooops...sorry"Rehaan said giving a sheepish smile and giving a side hug to Shehnaaz.
Shehnaaz smiled and gave him a proper hug by wishing him "A very very Happy Birthday  Rehaan, hope you get everything you wish for and which is best for you in your life"

"Thanks....i hope the same"Rehaan replied slowly looking at her lovingly

"Hmmm" she just hummed

Sidharth was entering in the class when he saw Shehnaaz and Rehaan hugging each other. He didn't know why but a part of his heart felt sad looking at the scenario in front of him. Although , it is very normal to hug  a boy by his friend or he can say his girlfriend but why he is not liking this .........may be because they are in the class and it is not the place to romance...he thought.....but they are not romancing for god's sake .......it's just a normal hug. Not getting any answer of his stupid question from his stupid mind...he shrugged his thought and entered the class as he realised he was standing on the door from so long looking in their direction like a mad man. He just took his class like a normal day and went out after the class without any further discussion. He had one more lecture today but didn't find Shehnaaz and anyone from his group which disappointed him a little but it is their life for god's sake and they can do whatever they want .
On the other hand , Shehnaaz and  her friends exited college a little earlier and spend their whole day enjoying and partying hard. First movie then lunch and then they reached at Rehaan's place..........they decorated his room in front of him only and ordered him to give a surprise look when he will enter his room and cut the cake so that they can capture his surprised look in the video and he did the same as a robot what his friends' asked him to do
May be it was very stupid and childish but he still felt very happy and good as he is blessed with the best of friends. After that they cut the cake, ate , danced and partied till they were exhausted and retried to their homes atlast.

Next day in the class they were presented with the grades of their assignment and Shehnaaz and one other student got the best grade and appreciation from Sidharth
"Congratulations Shehnaaz and Tushar, you guys did the great work.......i am really impressed......
actually everyone put their best efforts and i am really happy with your determination and result guys, congratulations once again to everyone ......have a nice day" Sidharth said and gave a heartiest smile to them which can make any girls' heart flutter

"Thankyou Sir"Shehnaaz and Tushar thanked him and
Sidharth nodded and exited the class after his lecture

"Woooohh...congratulations Shehnaaz....now you should give us party for this, let's go to canteen"Raavi said hugging her

"Yeah.....why not?"Shehnaaz laughed and Rehaan and Mayank facepalmed themselves"But first let me return these books to the library .......you guys go and order for you, i'll come in ten miniutes"Shehnaaz said and went to library

"Okay...."Raavi replied and they also went to canteen

Shehnaaz was coming down from the stairs after returning the books when she saw Sidharth standing downstairs and was looking handsome with the evercharming smile on his face. She was looking towards him when he also moved his gaze to her and passed a smile to her. She also smiled back and was so lost in his smile that she couldn't watch that she missed a stair which result in falling down of her making her leg twist giving an unbearable pain to her leg because of which she is not able to get up  as she can't even move her leg even a little bit and tears made their ways from her eyes because of the immense pain in her leg.
Before Sidharth could understand and do something she fell on the last stair and hurt her leg very badly. He rushed towards her but there she was already covered with the students from nearby as Sidharth was a little far away from her. He reached to her by tearing apart the crowd of students sorrounding her and kneeled down in front of her..............and there she was sitting by holding her feet and crying like a child and tears were flowing continuously from her eyes as she was not able to bear the pain,  Sidharth has felt like someone has hurted him as he can't see her in pain and it was hurting him to the core.

"Heyy.......are you okay?"Sidharth asked kneeled against her . Shehnaaz raised her head but didn't reply .........she didn't know what to say at that situation......can't he see how much is it paining.....she thought and moved her face from him to her leg

"I ....I....mean is it paining?"Sidharth asked again after not getting any answer

What the hell are you even asking Sidharth ....offcourse it must be paining ....that's why she is crying......stupid

"Ummmm......get up....let me help you"Sidharth said raising his hand towards her and she just looked at him as she was getting conscious because of the stares of the other students. Sidharth understood and tried to make the situation normal he said

"Come on.....what are you waiting for?....get up Shehnaaz, you can't get up on your own and students go back to your classes , i will make sure she gets the treatment properly.....you guys go ahead" He said again putting pressure on his words

"Hmmm" She hummed and hold his hand and tried to get up but couldn't as her leg was not supporting her

"Ahhhh" she screamed due to pain" I ... I can"t it's paining" She said between her tears

"Okay...okay.....hold on" He said and saw her feet it got swelled and was all red due to twisting because of her falling" You can't walk it means"He wishpered more to himself

"Now there is only one thing we can do.....I'll have to lift you and then we can go to doctor so that it gets treated"He said very normally and Shehnaaz gave him a look of.....like seriously

"Noooo....you can't" She said

"Why???"He asked

"Ammm...you....you can't lift me" she said thinking what is he saying .....after all he is my professor how could he lift me.......what will other students think....it doesn't look good

"Why????......you don't look that much heavy.....i can lift you easily" He said looking at her from head to toe and she made an  "O " shape mouth at his words

"What did you say?.......you are calling me fat" Shehnaaz asked him accusingly

"What???.....and when did i say that?"He asked getting surprised

" Just now" She said slowly making a cute pout...he wanted to laugh at her childish act but it is not the right time

"Seriously???...Here i want to help you and tou are accusing me of the things i haven't did" He said dejectedly

"Now....come on , we need to treat it soon otherwise it will get worse and pain more......and don't worry it's okay......you don't need to think much......okay?"He said understanding the meaning of her words and she also nodded getting no any other option

Sidharth was trying to lift her when she pointed towards something and Sidharth also moved his gaze towards that direction "Ummm....my phone" She pointed towards her phone which was lying on the floor a little away .

"Ohkay" He said and moved to pick her phone up but it also got broke due to falling. He showed it to her and placed it in the pocket of his trouser

"Now.....come on" He said and put his one hand under her legs and other one under her head and picked her up and started walking towards parking to go to his car. She was feeling very strange was getting goosebumps due to the closed proximity between them . She could feel his breathe on her forehead and it was giving her tickling sensations all over her body. She was controlling her breathes but it was of no any help as he could also feel her breaths feigning on his neck which was doing something in his stomach and whole body.........he don't know what but was controlling himself from an unknown feeling and emotion he was feeling at that time. They reached to his car and he made her settle in the passengee seat  "Careful"  he said and tied her seatbelt too and he  himself got setteled on the driving seat and started to drive to the hospital. He looked towards her and saw she was still crying and wiping her tears with the back of her hand but it was of no use as the fresh tears were making their way from her eyes as the pain was uncontollable

"Ummm......just fifteen miniutes........relax....okay?....we are reaching to the hospital"He said making her calm and she just nodded what else she can do except waiting
