It was 2:00pm and Shehnaaz and Raavi were standing outside the college trying to get a cab for Shehnaaz and..... Mayank went to take a water bottle for them as they were waiting from so long but coudn't get the cab for her.

"Mayank will drop you no Shehnaaz......why are you not listening?...i don't think that we will get the cab , it's already more than half an hour and it's too hot today"Raavi said to Shehnaaz concernedly

"No...Raavi, you guys will have to go to the different direction and will get late ........actually you guys go, i"ll see...don't worry i'll get the cab in some time"Shehnaaz said being guilty as Mayank and Raavi were getting late for their date because of her and she is not the one who intentionally creates trouble for anyone but they are her best friends they will not leave her alone at any cost

"Ohhh...really Shehnaaz....do you really think we will go and enjoy by leaving you here"Raavi said rolling her eyes and faking hurt

"Ohh kk baba.....sorry...i was just"Shehnaaz said but Raavi cut her in between
"Leave your just and see for the cab"

"Yeah"shehnaaz said

Sidharth was also leaving from the college after attending a staff meeting and saw Raavi and Shehnaaz standing outside trying to get a cab.....but couldn't get one, he was watching them  from quite some time and thought to ask if they need any help ......as an help offcourse lift and in that case he would get to talk to Shehnaaz and may be clear their issues.

Sidharth went near them and waved his hand towards them from the window"Hey girls...need any help?"

"Ohhh...hello Sir"Raavi greeted and Shehnaaz just ignored it

"What happen?...any problem?"Sidharth asked

"Ummm yeah Sir.."Raavi said
"Noooo Sir,..we are fine"Shehnaaz said at the same time

Sidharth raised his brows and said confusingly"I didn't get it"

"You wait....let me talk"Raavi said to Shehnaaz and ignored her glare........

"Actually sir, we were waiting for a cab but we are not getting it and it's been so long ...so..."Raavi explained

"Ohh, may be because of the odd hours....it happens sometimes..you know?"Sidharth replied

"Mhmmm"Raavi hummed

"But it's okay, come...ummm ...if you want i can drop you guys"Sidharth said

"No"
"Yes"
Raavi and Shehnaaz both replied at the same time

"Come on Shehnaaz, we both know you will not get cab any time soon....so it's better if sir will give you a ride"
"No"
"Yes.....by the way you will get alone time wiith him"Raavi said nudging Shehnaaz with her elbow

"No, i don't need anyone's help and i don't need any alone time with anyone......get it clear in your head....okay?"Shehnaaz  said giving a death glare to Raavi....but Raavi is Raavi she didn't pay any  heed and went on doing her next move

"You shutup now, i know you need a ride and that's final"Raavi said with finality in her voice

"Raavi please"Shehnaaz pleaded her

"Okay, if it is you want ....Mayank will drop you............
After all you are our friend, he won't mind getting late for a date"Raavi said playfully

"It's okay"Shehnaaz said defeatedly

"Guys...I am also here....i thought to make you remind of me too .......done with your discussion or you need some more time"Sidharth said after some time

"Ohh yes sir......actually I have a ride but....Shehnaaz doesn't have.......She has to go in totally different direction of ours....."Raavi said and told him her way

"Ohhh not a problem...i am also going in that direction......even it is in my way only......i can drop her if she wants"Sidharth said thinking it is the best way to talk to her in alone

"Go , go Shehnaaz"Raavi said nudging her and Shehnaaz was looking at her helplessly

"So...Miss Gill?"Sidharth saw towards Shehnaaz raising his brows

"It's okay Sir, i mean ..i ...i can wait for some more time...if you..."Shehnaaz was saying something which she herself doesn't  know but trying to escape from that awkwardness but Sidharth cut her off in between

"Come on Miss Gill....don't worry you don't need to be scared from me....i won't kidnap you......and we don't know in how much time you will get the cab
So it's upto you"Sidharth said

"No..i.. i didn't mean that, i mean...yeah, okay...you are right"She thought it's okay ...he is just giving me a ride and i don't need to talk to him....it's okay ...no need to worry

"Byeeeee enjoy....you can thank me later"Raavi wishpered in her ears  dramatically and Shehnaaz just glared her in disappointment

Shehnaaz tried to open the back door to sit at the back as it will be less awkward to sit with him in the passenger seat.....but before that Sidharth cleared his throat and said"Come on Miss. Gill don't make me feel as your driver, come sit in the passenger seat"

"Nooo, i didn't mean that....i was just....."She was saying but Sidharth cut her off in between

"So, come then"Sidharth said while gesturing towards passenger seat

"Yeah"Shehnaaz said and settled on the seat

"Byeee Shehnaaz.....take care and thankyou Sir"Raavi said after Sidharth started the car

"No problem Raavi"Sidharth smiled and started the drive

It's been only five minutes but noone spoke anything, there was an awkward silence in the car. Shenaaz didn't know what to do so she was just pretending to be busy in her mobile ...her whole focus was on her mobile only like that is the most important and beautiful thing to look at except anything at that point of time. Shehnaaz was relaxed because of the morning incidence ...that he is not that bad what she thinks of him but still he has insulted her in front of many people...so, she can't take a chance again and was focussing on her mobile only. Sidharth steal some glances at her and observed she was busy in her phone or pretending to be busy. He was thinking how to start a conversation to remove or atleast reduce that awkwardness between them...should he start coversation but he doesn't wanted to look some desperate guy or should wait for sometime but how much ?...Sidharth was never a kind of guy who would hesitate in conversing with a girl but here was the case of Miss. Gill...what if she will feel discomfortable but he was not doing anything like that...he just wants to talk to her and want to understand her or her point of view or what is going in her mind?.....or what does she think of him as?........but from when Sidharth Shukla started to care what others think of him......what does he always care is he doesn't do anything wrong to anyone or doesn't let that happen to himself by anyone but here things were different which were eating his mind up.....
Let it be....let's start the  talk atleast ...he thought and was about to call her name when Shehnaaz's phone started ringing and she startled at a sudden ring as her mind was somewhere else. She saw the caller Id and relaxed it was Mayank.....she received the call and said in low voice

"Hello Mayank!!"

"Hey Shehnaaz!"

"What happen? Why did you call me"

"Shehnaaz where are you? and how are you?"Mayank replied very disturbed

"I am fine Mayank and Raavi must have told you no? but...what happen ? Why are you asking this?
Is everything okay?"Shehnaaz asked worriedly

"I am okay....but why did you go with him?...I know this all is Raavi's stupid idea....she is mad....but why did you agree?..you could have denied ...i would have dropped you"Mayank said hurridely and in  a worry

"Calm down Mayank...i am totally fine, believe me, you don't have to worry...relax"Shehnaaz said trying to make him understand and waited for his reply but now it was Raavi who has replied by snatching the phone from Mayank's hand.... instead of Mayank

"Shehnaaz see he is fighting with me and saying i have forced you...can i do anything like that ever in my life which is not right for you"Raavi cried

"It's okay....you give phone back to him, i'll talk ....don't worry"
Raavi gave Mayank his phone back in anger and Mayank rolled his eyes while taking phone

"Helloo Shehnaaz ....where are you tell me?  and ask him to stop the car...i am coming , you don't need to do the things which you don't want to do and not comfortable with, i will drop you"Mayank was just speaking continuously and was not stopping but this time Shehnaaz shouted loudly"Stop it Mayank, i am alright.......believe me and  noone forced me and please stop fighting with Raavi....she hasn't done anything"

"Are you sure....you know i can come wherever you are...you just tell me..i"Mayank said but Shehnaaz cut him off in between

"Mayankkkk"

"Okay..."he sighed"but tell me, you are really okay..i mean"

"Yess, don't you believe me?"Shehnaaz said with a sweet smile

"Okayy...fine...i was just concerned"

"I know..now byee..you will get a very hard time now"Shehnaaz giggled and Sidharth saw her and smiled but she suddenly realised that she has an audience and hanged the phone and sit straight chewing her lower lip

After sometime, Sidharth thought to start the conversation when her phone rang again
Ohh god....

Shehnaaz received the call after seeing Rehan's name flashed on her phone

"Hey!!  Rehaan"she greeted him

"Hey!!!....Shehnaaz why didn't you tell me?....I could have dropped you......I know it must be very discomfortable for you sweetheart.....you could have just called me no?"

"Rehaan please calm down...it's nothing like that ....i am all okay and i have talked to Mayank too....you guys please stop worrying"She sighed

"I know it's not......why didn't you...?"

"Rehaan i am not a kid....please......do you trust me no?....If there would be anything like that......you are always the first one whom i will give a call...right?"Shehnaaz tried to make him understand

"Yeah...but i don't want you to get hurt over stupid things ..if we can avoid them...that's why..."Rehaan said sadly

"I know"

"Okay then give me a call after you will reach at your place"

"Okay..."

"Fine then bye and take care"

"Byeee"Shehnaaz said with a smile and hung up the phone

"Seems like your friends are too much worried for you...but assure them you are not under any threat ....i am not some criminal who will harm you"Sidharth said sarcastilly

"No....actually they are just little more concerned for me, it's nothing like that... what you are thinking"Shehnaaz tried to assure him finding that he might be feeling offended with that conversation

"It's okay Miss. Gill , you have got really good friends"Sidharth replied with a smile

"Yeah"She said with a small smile

There was a silent for sometime but then that is it for him he thought
"So....?"he asked raising his brows

"So.....what?"She asked in a low voice

"Are you like this always...i mean this silent, strange behaviour....or i am the special one to get this treatment"He asked looking at her

"Wh..what are you saying?...I am not getting it"Shehnaaz said while fidgeting with  her fingers and putting a strand of her hairs behind her ear in nervousness ignoring any eye contact with him

"Firstly, Please relax  Shehnaaz, don't get me wrong.....i just want to talk....okay?..."He asked calmly

"Mhmmm"Shehnaaz could only hummed with the way he took her name , it was so soothing and relaxing

"Look at me"He said

"Hnnn?"She asked

"Please"he said innocently ......She looked into his eyes and saw  there was just a purity ,  innocence and concern for  her

"So....what do you think of me?...What is going on in your head?"He asked but she was little surprised....what does he mean by  what i think of him.....what does he want to say...she thought

"Nothing....it's nothing just......"She said in little confusion and not knowing what to answer him or what does he really want to know.....Sidharth understood her dilemma and tried to explain her more clearly

"Okay...so let me ask it more clearly.....he continued after a pregnant pause.....why do you behave so strange and silent in my lecture or whenever i am around you?.....why do you have to change your seat always to a particular corner in my lecture only and shifts from there after i exit the class?....He waited for some seconds and again continued why you never talk or speak in my class to me or anyone?......I think you are kind of ignoring me or my presence........but why?....Did i do anything to make you uncomfortable anytime or did i do anything unknowingly which is bothering you?......and if it so then i am really sorry Shehnaaz ....i can't do anything  to anyone which makes them uncomfortable with me or around me...i am not like this and it is eating me from inside "He said each and every word very calmly and with full honesty...she could see that in his eyes......she blinked her eyes and moved her gaze from his face when she realised that she was looking at him continuously from sometime

"I...i..."she stuttered while speaking

"Please...i want to listen the truth Shehnaaz"He said

"So....you don't hate me?" She asked finally after sometime trying to clear it at once and for all

"What?"He asked

"First...answer me"She asked only to hear a loud laughter which made her more embarrassed for asking that stupid  question and she turned her head towards window to look outside getting hurt
Sidharth saw hurt in her eyes .....here he was trying to sort out the things between them and now she again got hurt....
Fuck me

"Hey.....listen to me Shehnaaz , i didn't mean to hurt you"He said but she still didn't move an inch from her place

"I am...so sorry Shehnaaz ...please listen to me...once, i swear i didn't mean it"He said calmly after stopping the car at a side of the road

"Please ....."he tried again while tugging at her wrist and she looked at him stunned
He looked at his hand and removed it abruptly at her glare
Fuck me god really...he thought looking at her pleadingly
