Alex and Dana sat down eating chicken noodle soup. It was getting late and your mother was getting worried.

Dana: He's late...

Alex stopped eating and put down his bowl.

Alex: relax Dana. He's young. He's becoming a man tonight.

Dana rolled her eyes.

Dana: yeah. Cause I'm sure a normal man has two girlfriends.

Alex snickered and put his bowl in the sink and began washing.

Alex: more of a man than his old ma-

Alex stopped when he realized what he was about to say. He put the bowl down to dry and leaned over the counter with his head hanging low.

Alex sighed and looked at his sister who had ber bead down.

Alex: Dana....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-

Dana: no its fine. Plus your right. He'll be more of a man than that asshole.

Alex laughed.

Alex: Dana Mercer. Where oh where did that come from?

Dana giggled.

All of a sudden the door opened revealing you all bloodied. Dana gasped and Alex pushed off the counter and went to you.

Alex: jesus christ are you alright?!

Dana went up to you and cupped your cheek.

Dana: are you hurt badly?! What happened?!

You looked at them both.

(Y/n): Mum, Uncle. I'm okay really.

Dana: who did this?!

Alex: did Blackwatch or Gentek find us?!

You shook your head.

(Y/n): No! They aren't here too. You sighed. It looks like there's something going on here in Japan.

They looked at you confused until you told them to sit down and you began explaining what happened.

Alex: Angels?

(Y/n): more like fallen angels. Isabelle and I were attacked by two. Turns out the second girl was the other fallen angel.

Dana: what did they want?

(Y/n): they seemed more focused on Isabelle. There was something one said to her. "Sorry. You were a threat to us, so we decided to get rid of you early. If you want to hold a grudge, then hate the God who put the Sacred Gear inside you."

Alex: sacred gear?

Dana: sounds like a weapon. A very powerful one.

Alex stood up.

Alex: whatever it is. It doesn't sound good. Especially if fallen angels didn't like it so much. Tell me. Is Isabelle alive?

You shook your head.

(Y/n): I don't know. I'm gonna go find that out tommorow.

Dana: nuh ah. You have school tomorrow mister.

(Y/n): I know mum. But that's why I'm saying that I'm going to find out tommorow. I have a little something to discuss with a certain club tommorow.

Dana looked at Alex who just nodded.

Dana: okay. But please be careful.

You nod.

(Y/n): I will.

You head to the shower and wash up then later call it a day.

Timeskip~

You looked up at the tall building the Occult research club. Your biomass seemed to move around. You took a deep breath and entered the building. You approached the door leading into the room and knocked. The door opened revealing a blond haired girl with blue-ish grey eyes. She wore the girls Kuoh Academy uniform. She looked up at you.

???: Yes?

(Y/n): Hello. I'm wondering if your club leader is here. Rias Gremory was her name.

The girl was taken back by you. She looked at you up and down before opening the door wider for you to go inside. You nodded thanking her and walked in. You saw Rias sitting at her desk drinking some tea. She set it down and looked at you.

Rias: well well. I thought I recognized that face from somewhere. Looks like my eyes didn't decieve me when I swore it was the new student I saw last night covered in blood.

You cross your arms.

(Y/n): I have questions for you.

Rias flinched for a second. You tilted your head. She regained her composure and she smiled.

Rias: of course. But first Introductions are in order. What's your name?

(Y/n): (Y/n) Mercer.

Rias nodded.

Rias: well it is nice to meet you (Y/n). You already know who I am so I shall introduce you to the rest of the group. The girl who let you in is Yumi Kiba

You turned and Kiba bowed. You see a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure with very long black hair and violet eyes enter the room. Her hair was tied in a long ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place. Her uniform was different, a customary Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform probably, along with black calf-length socks.

Rias: that is Akeno Himejima.

She bowed also. Then a girl came out. She looked like she was thirteen at least. Her hair had two long bangs going past her shoulders and several loose bangs hanging over her forehead, while the back has a short bob cut. She also wears a black cat-shaped hair clip on both sides of her hair. She wore the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform but without the shoulder cape.

Rias: that is Koneko Toujou

(Y/n): its nice to meet you all. Okay Rias. My first question, how is Isabelle doing?

Rias: She's well. The doctors said she will survive.

You sigh in relief.

(Y/n): Okay next. What's going on around these parts?

Rias: what do you mean?

(Y/n): Isabelle and I were attacked by two angels. The other girl I was going out with turned out to be one named Raynare.

The girls looked at eachother.

Rias: Fallen Angels? Are you sure? If so then where did they go?

(Y/n): ones dead. One got away.

Rias: how did one die?

(Y/n): I killed him.

Rias aswell as the girls looked surprised.

Rias: you....took down an fallen angel??

You nod.

Rias: how?!

(Y/n): Thats not important. All I know is that they went rogue on their old boss and tried to kill Isabelle instead of look after her. Raynare said something about blaming the god who put the sacred gear inside her. Which leads me to my next question.

Rias: h-huh?

(Y/n): How did you find us?

Rias: I just passed by. I thought she needed help and after you came out of the waterfall I got more concerned.

(Y/n): your a terrible liar.

Rias flinched.

(Y/n): How did you find us?

Rias: ....fine. I guess I can come out afterI saw your little stunt after our short conversation.

Rias stood up. You mentally facepalm. You totally forgot about that.

Rias: you see (Y/n). I'm a devil.

You look at her up and down.

(Y/n): A devil? Didn't realise devils could have such beauty.

She giggled and blushed a little at your comment.

Rias: as much as I appreciate the complament, its true. As is everyone else in this room.

You look at the girls behind you and they wave. You wave back.

(Y/n): Okay.

Rias: if that is all then you can leave no-

(Y/n): Now hold on! You telling me that your a devil just gave me another question to ask.

Rias looked at you.

(Y/n): You wouldn't of followed us yesterday without a purpose then leave empty handed..

You walked up to her.

(Y/n): You wanted the sacred gear for yourself didn't you. But in order to have it you would've needed Isabelle's cooperation seeing as this sacred gear is apart of her somehow.

Rias backed up to her desk. Kibaki had her sword out and the girls stood ready too.

(Y/n): tell me Ms Gremory. Is Isabelle really in a hospital. Or did you do some sort of ritual to turn her into a devil??

Rias narrowed her eyes at you.

Rias: She's in the hospital..

Unfortunately for this beautiful devil, you can see through her bullshit. You close your eyes then open them back up quickly sending out your viral sonar pulse to find Isabellel. It came back to you instantly indicating that Isabelle was close. You did it again and saw that it was coming from a room.

Rias looked at the same room and started to panic.

You look at her.

(Y/n): thats one hell of a hospital.

You begin to walk towards the door. But a red glyph surrounds you feet. You look at Rias to see her holding her hand up.

Rias: She's already mine. You can't take her away.

(Y/n): I wasn't.

Rias eyed you suspiciously.

(Y/n): I can't undo the damage already dealt. I wanna make sure she's okay. Do what you want but her safety is my priority right now.

You open the door and walk in. Rias lowered her hand and crossed her arms.

You go look to see Isabelle sleeping in a queen sized bed. You pulled up a chair beside her and held her hand.

She began to move then yawn. She looked at you and you smiled.

(Y/n): Hey there.

Isabelle: (Y/n)? What happened? Where are we?

(Y/n): we're in The Kuoh Occult research club room.

She looked at you weirdly too. Why??

Isabelle: for real?

(Y/n): yep.

Isabelle: ha. Fucking A. How did we get here?

(Y/n): you were brought here. I just got here a minute ago.

She nodded. She went to sit up but went down immediately.

(Y/n): your still healing take your time.

Isabelle: no. I just felt a sudden weight in my left hand.

(Y/n): huh?

You went over to her arm and lifted the covers. On her arm was a red metal glove with a green orb at the end of it.

Rias: thats the sacred gear.

You look at Rias who stood at the doorway.

Rias: Isabelle. Get dressed and we can begin talking about your role as a new member of the Occult research club.

Isabelle: New member?! Awsome! I'll get dressed right away.

Isabelle stepped out of bed which caused you to blush tomato red and sweat drop.

Isabelle felt a draft and looked down. She gasped and tried to covered herself. She looked at you.

You looked at her and blushed. You covered your eyes.

(Y/n): Okay now I-I-Isabelle. This is on you I have nothing to do with this!

You walked out the room. Rias went inside the room and closed the door behind you she came back out and looked at you. You sighed.

Rias: She'll get over it.

(Y/n): she is perverted so I don't think she cares that I sneaked an accidental peak. Why did you go in there for a second or two?

Rias: perveted huh? That would explain her recent visits to the boys change rooms. Also to answer your second question, I just told her how to dismiss the sacred gear so she wouldn't have to walk around with it twenty-four seven. Would you like some tea? Classes don't start till later.

You look at her and nod. You take a seat and Rias sits across from you with the other girls by your side. She pours you some and and you grab it and take a sip.

You set your cup down and look at Rias.

(Y/n): So. I take it she's a devil now?

Rias: she is but doesn't possess abilities like us. She doesn't have wings.

You nod.

(Y/n): okay. So tell me. What is she going to be doing now that she's apart of your club?

Rias: right now she's a pawn.

(Y/n): damn don't you think that's a little harsh for the weilder of the sacred gear??

Rias: Don't worry. She'll still get special treatment.

You look at Kibaki.

(Y/n): I've heard about Ms Yuuto. Best swords woman in the school. I take it she's a knight of sorts?

Rias: mhm. Koneko is our rook. She is well trained in hand to hand combat. And Akeno is our queen.

(Y/n): A queen huh?

Rias nodded.

You nod back and finish the rest of your tea. You saw Rias eyeing you inconspicuously. You put the cup down.

(Y/n): Let me guess. You want to know how I did what I did last night?

Rias: huh? I mean yes! Sorry but how DID you do what you did last night? Are you some sort of rare devil or angel?

(Y/n): I'm none of those.

Kibaki: Then how are you communicating with us?

(Y/n): Huh? What are you talking about?

Rias: Sorry but we heard that you were American and we had the impression that you wouldn't know japanese.

(Y/n): I'm speaking english. You guys are too.

Rias: Maybe let me explain. When you turn into a Devil, one of the unique ability you attain is "Language". The moment you turn into a Devil, everyone in the world can understand what you are saying. People listening to you will hear it in the language they are most familiar with. If they are American, then they will hear it in English. If they are Spanish, then they will hear it in Spanish. And also the opposite. If they speak in a language besides Japanese, you will hear it in Japanese.

You were...well taken back by this. You looked down. What could've happened to make that poss-the Angel! When you consumed him you must have gained his power of language! You stay calm and look up at Rias.

(Y/n): I have no idea how. Maybe it has something to do with my inhumanity.

Rias: Hmm. Then what are you?

You were about to answer but the door opened revealing Isabelle in her school attire. You smile and stand up.

Isabelle: class is going to start in five minutes.

(Y/n): Ah okay.

Rias: meet here after classes Isabelle.

Isabelle: okay boss!

She left and you looked at Rias.

(Y/n): Well I should get going too. If you need anything then call me.

You leave your number on the table and walk towards the door.

Rias: okay....hold on! You didn't answer my question!

You stop and look at her.

Rias: what are you?

You sigh.

(Y/n): I'm just (Y/n) Mercer. Or feel free to address me by how most people would address me from where I'm from.

Rias: What's that?

You open the door.

(Y/n): Erichthonius.

You walk off and leave the devils who look at eachother.

Rias: Erichthonius?

Kibaki: It comes from Greek mythology. It refers to the adopted son of Athena.

Rias: Hmm..

Akeno: He is an interesting boy.

She giggled.

Rias: He is. But there's something about him that makes him dangerous.

Kiba: well he said he would offer help so atleast we have his trust.

Rias sat down at her desk and began to think.

Akeno: If it would ease your worry, then just make him a devil. Not against his will of course.

Rias: I'll think about it.

Everyone but Koneko who was watching you walk away from the building began to talk. Koneko narrowed her eyes at you for a split second then turned away.

(Y/n): Sorry about last night.

Isabelle waved you off.

Isabelle: No no its fine. Just next time we go out. Make sure the next bitch you bring with us isn't an angel.

You nod.

(Y/n): noted.

You wave goodbye as you two went your seperate ways to your classes. You took a seat as Class began.
