As you hover above the ground, your newfound wings flapping with an intimidating aura, you lock eyes with Riser, a wicked grin spreading across your face.

Riser, though visibly shaken, tries to regain his composure.

Riser: You think those wings make you invincible, Rogue?! I'll put you in your place just as I did that girl with the red dragon gauntlet!

You chuckle, a mocking tone in your voice.

(Y/n): I promised Issabelle that I would kick the ass of the person who did that to her. I've been doing a good job thus far!

You taunt as you then dive towards Riser with lightning speed, claws extended and ready to strike. Riser narrowly dodges each slash from your claws. As Riser dodges your attacks, you let out a sinister laugh.

(Y/n): You just gonna dodge for the rest of this match, Riser? Thought a noble devil such as yourself would put up more of a fight!

Riser grits his teeth, his face contorted with rage.

Riser: You won't get away with this, Rogue! I'll make sure you pay for every scratch you've left on me!

You smirk, your eyes glinting with amusement.

(Y/n): Oh, please, Riser. Your threats are as empty as your noble title. You're nothing but a pathetic excuse for a fighter when it comes to one on ones.

With a burst of speed, you slice off his shirt exposing his whole upper body. He looks at you with a look of pure rage before firing a volley of fireballs at you. Suddenly, a tendril manoeuvres around the fireballs and latches itself onto Riser as you use your wings to block and weave through the volley of fireballs and deliver a gut punch to him with your right hammerfist. He piles out saliva and is sent crashing to the ground.

(Y/n): How does it feel, Riser? I bet it stings!

You shout as you descend towards him and fly above him. Riser, bloodied and battered, stumbles backward, desperation in his eyes.

Ravel: Brother!

The small blonde girl cries out as the rest of the spectators look on with intrigue.

Lucifer: I've never known a non devil to possess wings. Angel wings at that, despite how deformed they may look...

Lucifer then turns his head to Origin who is smiling with his interest now piqued.

Lucifer: Did you know he could do this?

Origin takes his eyes away from the battle and shook his head.

Origin: No. I mean, I knew about the other stuff like the armour and the weapons he can morph his hands into. The wings were a surprise, to be sure. But a welcome one. As it appears that this battle just became a whole lot more interesting.

Back on the battlefield. Riser was seething. Seeing you stand, in this case float above him, causes the desperation he felt to turn into rage.

Channeling his anger, he puts morphs it into one final desperate move. He unleashes a devastating blast of fire from his body which surrounds you and causes your armoured biomass to surround your body.

Riser: I will not lose to a monster like you!

He suddenly fires a giant ball of fire at you which forces you to block with your shields, armour and use the hardness of your wings to encase the rest of your body. After it disappears, you look forward again but don't see Riser. Suddenly, he grabs you from behind and flies up into the sky with you.

Riser: An abomination like you doesn't deserve to exist in this world or the next!

You manage to get your hands free and jab him in the face with your fists. Riser grits what teeth he had left together before screaming, letting out a burst of fire that surrounded his and your bodies.

Riser: My power will see that your existence is halted once and for all!

You struggle as you feel the heat begin to wear you down.

Riser: Let it consume you!

Your eyes close....but then suddenly open back up as they glow red and a smirk graces your lips.

Riser: W-Why are you smiling, bastard?!

Suddenly, Riser's eyes widen as he feels the burning sensation on his chest. He looks to see a necklace with a small cross attached to it. Seeing his power begin to fade and the wounds lingering because of the cross, you use your new wing power and sprout them, cutting off his arms causing him to yell in pain. You quickly crush more holy water in your hands then morph them into claws before stabbing them into his chest. Riser lets out a bloodcurdling scream as you then get close to his face.

(Y/n): Nah, let ME consume you.

You then begin to tear Riser in half as tendrils comes out of your body and borrow into Riser's flesh as you dive down towards the ground.

Ravel: RISER!!

A loud thud is heard as dust and debris flies around the arena. As the dust cloud begins to clear, you stand up and move your head around in a circular motion before hearing a satisfying crack. You close your eyes and hold your head.

Riser's memories~

I watched as Rias shielded that pathetic excuse for a pawn. Holding her close with wasteful tears streaming down her face.

Rias: It's okay...you did your best, and that's all that matters...

Rias then planted a kiss on the girls forehead and came towards me.

Me: Good girl. Don't worry, unlike that peasant, I'll always be there for you in the future with a guarantee that you'll be safe~

I say as I squeeze her ass and luck my lips as her scent fills my nostrils.

Back to present~

You ball your hand into a fist and tightly clench your fingers against your palm.

(Y/n): Rest in shit, motherfucker.

Ravel: YOU BASTARD!!!

You look to your left and dodge with ease from an attacking Ravel who had tears in her eyes.

Origin immediately came between you both and held his hand out to Ravel.

Origin: Miss Phenex, please.

Ravel: Out of my way! I don't care if you're some sort of supreme demon! That bastard murdered my brother!

Lucifer came beside Ravel and held her wrist then karate chopped the back of her neck. He then carried her over his shoulder and looked at both Origin and yourself with a smile.

Lucifer: Well fought mister Mercer. I see you still follow the trope of choosing powerful allies Origin.

Origin chuckles and crosses his arms.

Origin: And making them.

Lucifer nods and turns his back to you two.

Lucifer: Don't worry about the Phenex house. I'll see personally that they don't attempt any revenge schemes against you.

You smile and nod.

(Y/n): Appreciate, sir.

Lucifer looks back at you one last time before smiling.

Lucifer: Please, call me Sirzechs.

He states before flying off. As he does this, the arena begins to fade into nothing. You gasp in surprise as you begin to fall. You get caught by Koneko as Akeno and Kiba fly next to her.

Kiba: Nice going there killer.

She congratulates you.

Akeno: Yeah, didn't think you'd have it in you to actually kill a devil.

Akeno admits as you spread your wings too and begin to float in the middle of them.

(Y/n): Fire was a bit of a pain in the ass but I would chalk this under easy.

Kiba looks at your wings then at you.

Kiba: How did you get wings?

You look at them and shrug.

(Y/n): I dunno. Hmm...Oh! Maybe they're from that time I consumed that angel!

The three look at you astonished.

Kiba: You ate an angel?!

You raise a brow at them.

(Y/n): Yeah...didn't I say I did?

Akeno: You said you killed one. Didn't specify that you ate its corpse.

You sweat drop. Guess you were suspicious of them at the time. You then morph into the angel you at and tip your hat.

(Y/n): It was this bitch. His name was Douna.

You clarify to which Akeno perks up.

Akeno: Oh! So this is the one those two angels that helped kidnap Asia were referring to.

You morph back into yourself and nod.

Kiba: So, if you've consumed an angel and got something from him...then could you get something from Riser...?

You gasp as stars light up in your eyes.

(Y/n): You think it'll be a flamethrower?!

You say all giddy now at the possibility. Koneko gives a thumbs up.

Koneko: That'll be badass.

She says in her usual monotone demeanour.

???: (Y/n)!

You turn but are immediately tackled in the air and spin around. You hold you person that latched onto you and smile.

(Y/n): Hey Rias.

Rias smiles with tears in her eyes which you wipe away gently which cause her to blush with a smile.

Rias: Hey, my little rogue.

She says as she then does something that shocks you and the other girls.

....

She kisses you deeply. Your eyes widen while Akeno giggles, Kiba smirks and Koneko pouts.

As the kiss deepens, you feel a rush of emotions surge through your body. The taste of Rias's lips, the warmth of her embrace, and the overwhelming sense of connection between you and her. It's a moment of pure bliss, a moment that makes you forget about the recent troubles that have taken place.

When the kiss finally breaks, Rias looks into your eyes with a mix of love and vulnerability. A small smile plays on her lips as she brushes a strand of hair behind your ear.

Rias: Thank you so much (Y/n).

Your heart skips a beat at her words, and you can't help but reciprocate the feeling.

(Y/n): T-That was one heck of a 'thank you'.

The other girls watch the scene unfold, their expressions ranging from surprise to happiness.

Akeno: Well, it seems our little rogue has found his queen.

Kiba: More fitting if he were a pawn but I'm a sucker for abnormal things.

Koneko: Just don't get too lovey-dovey.

You all share a laugh as you all begin to fly back home.

Origin reverts back to his human form before taking off after all of you.

As you all leave, Sirzechs watches you leave with a smile plastered on his face the whole time.

Grayfia: Well, that ended differently than I anticipated.

Sirzechs looks at her with a raised brow.

Sirzechs: And just how did you see it ending, dear?

Sirzechs asks his wife.

Grayfia: A death in the Phenex family would've been best avoided.

Sirzechs hums at this before shrugging.

Sirzechs: I'm sure Lord Phenex and I can come to an understanding. Ravel here should be fit enough to take the seat of president for Riser's peerage.

Grayfia stares at her husband for a moment before closing her eyes and smiling.

Grayfia: Very well......Shall I continue keeping tabs on Issabelle as you asked...?

Sirzechs nods as he watches his and Grayfia's daughter disappear into the distance with you and her peerage.

Grayfia: Sirzechs. Why did Rias name Mercer as a rogue and not an official piece?

Sirzechs held his smile as he kept looking up in the sky.

Sirzechs: By naming (Y/n) as a rogue rather than an official piece. She has given him the freedom to move and act independently, without being bound by the rules, orders and restrictions that come with being apart of a peerage. Perhaps she foresaw this very day and used his title as a back door in case nothing else worked.

Grayfia nods, a sense of understanding passing between them.

Back in Japan~

As they conclude their conversation, the scene shifts back to (Y/n) returning to Issabelle's house. Upon arriving, (Y/n) is greeted by Asia and Issabelle. You smile as they both run at you and hug you tightly. You look to see Lilith back to health. Her eyes are wide and her mouth forms into a wide smile.

She starts fast walking towards you and you open your arms. To your surprise she passes you and hugs Ori.

Lilith: Dad!

Everyone looks at the two dumbfounded.

Everyone except Lilith and Ori: DAD?!

Ori rubs the back of his head and lets out a nervous chuckle.

Ori: Did I...forget to mention that to you, (Y/n)?

You nod.

(Y/n): Uh. Yeah!

Lilith smiles and nuzzles into Ori's chest.

Everyone sat down as Issabelle's parents brought snacks and other delicious foods. You didn't really need to eat but the taste was so damn good. As you ate, Ori specified that he created Lilith and dubbed her his favourite creation.

(Y/n): So that's like what? One of your powers? To literally create life out of energy and matter?

Ori nods as he pats Lilith who is in her smaller familiar form and resting her head on Ori's lap.

Ori: Pretty much. So, (Y/n). What are you going to do?

You hum as Ori consumes some sweets then speaks up again.

Ori: Sirzechs may be able to quell the Phenex family's fury for a while but they can always find back doors to get revenge.

You look down as your eyes begin to dart around at the ground. With a sigh, you cup your hands together and look your friends.

(Y/n): I have....too much going on to worry about that right now...

Rias looks at you with a worried expression.

Rias: What happened...?

You sigh not wanting to admit that she was right about Alex, but also not wanting her to worry about their plan. In the end you told her and everyone within hearing distance. Except for Issabelle's parents, Rias saw to that by making sure they stayed in the kitchen.

Rias: ...So...what are you going to do...?

You pinch the bridge of your nose and look at everyone.

(Y/n): For now, nothing...Blackwatch being in Japan is a problem still. Might start there while also continuing my study.

Ori nods in understanding your decision. Everyone does the same except Rias.

Rias: (Y/n)...I know what that means you'll do if you go through with it.

You tilt your head to the side and make a face that says '..and here we go..' while stand up and begin to pace as she goes on.

Rias: I don't want you ending up like your uncle.

You shrug at her while staring into her eyes.

(Y/n): I already am Rias...Mum and you have been trying to tell me to not follow in my uncles footsteps but recent events have forced me to do otherwise...besides you don't know Blackwatch like I do. That's why I gotta stop them before they do to Tokyo like they did to New York...

Your words dig deep with all of them. Eventually, Ori stands up and smiles.

Ori: You mean 'we' have to stop them right?

You look at him confused. Then Akeno stands up.

Akeno: You don't have to fight this battle alone for once.

Issabelle: Yeah!

Isabelle exclaims as she stands up.

Isabelle: This is our home too! Like hell we'll let some American fuckers destroy it with their shit science experiments!

Rias, Lilith, Kiba and Koneko stand up as well and give you reassuring smiles.

Rias: One step at a time my little rogue. First, the Blackwatch branch that's set up shop in Japan. Then, your uncle.

You look at all of them. With a stern face you ask them a question.

(Y/n): ...It's not gonna be easy...are you guys sure you're ready for the fight of our lives?

They nod with unwavering determination plastered on their face. With a smirk, you fist bump the air.

(Y/n): Banzai it is.

Everyone follows suit.

Everyone except you: Banzai!

....

Airport~

Two men walk up to the reception lady at the desk. One had a green vest, blue jeans and sunglasses while the other had a black zipless hoodie with a blue shirt and cream coloured shorts.

Reception lady: Tickets and passports please.

The men show their tickets and passports. The lady begins to validate the tickets and passports.

Reception lady: A little homesick gentlemen?

She asks with a smile. The man in the Black hoodie chuckles.

Man: Something like that...

Man 2: We all good..?

The other man says with a hint of impatience. The lady nods and hands them back the tickets and passport.

Lady: Have a safe trip!

She says and bows. Then men bow back and head onto the plane. Tendrils come out of them men and absorb the tickets and passport as both the men's eyes glow red.

Both: We count on it...
