You were sitting at your desk in your room scrolling through some music to play while you study. Getting bored of Spotify you went to YouTube instead and scanned your recommended.

You read the title of the video out loud then proceeded to click on the video and look down at your work while bopping to the tune at the start.

You spin in your chair.

You look at her with a deadpanned expression.

Lilith turns back to normal instantly.

You pull out the draw in your desk and dig threw it until you find some treats that Rias gave you the other day. You toss one and Lilith jumps up and grabs it with her mouth before laying down on your bed and eating the treat.

You decided turn in. You switch off your computer and closed your school book. You look at your bed and reach for the covers but stop. Your eyes narrow and you look at your window.

Your eyes dart back to your bed. You caress Lilith's head making her hum in satisfaction.

You do this for what felt like an hour before she finally fell asleep. You slowly move your hand away and walk to your window. You open it then jump out of it. Your biomass surrounding your body as it switched you from your pj's to your casual clothes.

You land on the ground and turned to your apartment.

(Y/n): Sorry mum, but I have to know what my uncle is up to at night and know why it's more important than laying low.

With that, you jump into the air and air dash towards a building, wall running up to the top. You reach the top and continuously jump from building to building. After gliding and jumping for what felt like hours. You couldn't find him anywhere. Eventually you reach shibuya and kneel down, parched onto the corner of a building overlooking the scramble crossing.

(Y/n): What the hell?

You see Gentek have set up shop right in the middle of the crossing. They were scanning people, causing the crossing to become what was basically like a traffic jam in New York. Only, the cars were people in this case.

(Y/n): Maybe one of these bozo's know something about Alex. Especially if he's been hitting them while out for his nightly 'strolls'.

You look at your hands as biomass covers them then your whole body. Once it cleared off, you were posing as a Gentek soldier. His name was Michael Cutter. Your first kill.

Flashback~

You were gasping for air, holding your chest as a red and black biomass slithered around on your body as your uncle dragged you out of a Gentek testing facility.

(Y/n): U-Uncle Alex! Please, we need to stop...

Alex: We're almost there (Y/n).

He lifts you up.

Alex: Let the virus do the rest as we walk out.

(Y/n): V-Virus? What do you mean?

Alex goes silent.

Your cut off as multiple shots go through you and Alex.

Alex: (Y/n)!

Alex looks to see the soldiers.

Soldier 1: Holy shit. It really is Mercer!

Alex's arm turns into a whip fist as he quickly cuts the attacking soldiers in half. He then turns to you to see you slowly getting up.

Alex: Get up! Come on (Y/n)!

You look at your hands and then at your chest to see the biomass flare from your bullet wounds.

(Y/n): W-What...?

Alex looks down at you and picks you back up.

Alex: Come on. We need to get back to your mom.

(Y/n): What?! No she'll freak out. Plus Gentek will kill u-

You're cut off when a grenade hits you in the back and blows up, throwing you into an apc and throwing Alex back into a wall.

The soldier responsible for throwing the grenade approaches you and kicks what was left of you. You gasp and look up at him. Well, at least you try to as he was shining a flashlight in your eyes. He then proceeds to put a few shots into you. This makes your body go limp as you stare weakly at the soldier.

The soldier chuckles and spits on you. His little victory is short however as Alex uses the whip fist to penetrate the soldiers abdomen. The soldier falls to his knees. Alex looks at your mangled body. He then hears blackwatch choppers approaching and curses under his breath.

Alex: Don't have time for this.

Alex picks up the soldier and tosses him on top of your body.

Alex: Think of this as a lesson (Y/n). For someone who's now like me.

A tendril comes out of the giant hole in your body and wraps around the soldiers torso.

Alex: Consume (Y/n). To become better.

Another tendril pierces the soldier's arm.

Alex: To become un-killable.

The tendrils completely surrounds the soldiers body and starts ripping him apart.

You consumed the soldier and your body starts to become whole again. Your eyes dart left and right as images started to be poured into your head.

Cutter's memories~

Footsteps are heard echoing down a metal hallway as a metal door is opened.

Cutter: You called for me sir?

Commanding officer: Yes Cutter. I have a request for you and your team from the higher ups. We have a designated location for Dana and (Y/n) Mercer. Aka Athena and Erichthonius. This will be a bag and drag mission. If you can't get them both then at least get one! At the end of the day, we'll have Zeus' attention.

Cutter: Yes sir....uh, permission to speak freely?

Commanding officer: Go on?

Cutter: Why do we still hunt Zeus' family? He's dead after all.

Commanding officer: Because they're assets. Although Mercer did start the virus, we engineered it. If any info his bitch of a sister has on us is revealed, we're fucked.

Present day~

You drop from the building stealthily and walk amongst the crowds in the crossing. You walk in with no problem and grab an M4A1 from a weapons rack in the corner and walk around while listening for information.

Soldier: Here the rumours?

Soldier 2: What? About Arthur's sister having a nice rack?

He chuckles.

Soldier 1: No. Apparently, Mercer trashed the underground base in sector zero.

The second soldier stops laughing.

Soldier 2: Wait. Zeus is in Japan?! I thought he was announced as KIA?

Soldier 1: Apparently not. Trashed the entire sight, including all the test subjects.

(Y/n): Test subjects? Does he mean humans? Alex wouldn't kill innocents for no reason would he?

(Y/n) (as Cutter): What we're they doing in sector Zero again?

You cut in. Both soldiers looked at you.

Soldier 1: Tests. Seeing the full potential of the virus. Seeing what all that red and black shit does when given enough biomass to work with.

Soldier 2: Heard it's pretty ugly.

(Y/n): So that must be why Alex trashed the site. He couldn't save those people but he sure as hell avenged them. Good work Uncle.

Suddenly, a crash is heard behind you which causes people to scream. You look too see a woman standing on an APC. She looked pissed.

Soldier 3: What the fuck?!

The viral detector next to the woman goes off causing all the soldiers to raise their weapons.

Soldier 4: She's infected!

You back up as the woman steps off the broken APC then turns to it. She lifts it up with ease and looks at the soldiers and yourself.

Soldier 1: The fuck?

Soldier 2: That shit ain't right man!

The woman throws the car with a huge amount of force, killing the soldiers in the direction she was facing. You however jump over the car and front flip while reverting back to your original form.

You land on your feet and look at the woman.

(Y/n): What the hell?

The lady walks to the side while staring you down. You look at her and imitate her movement.

Lady: Are you infected as well?!

Your right eyebrow raises.

(Y/n): I am. Although someone who's 'normally' infected with the virus, tends to have a red and black biomass coming from their body. How is it possible that you've been 'infected' like me?

The lady grimaced and clenches her hand close to her face.

Lady: It was these bastards and their goddamn experiments. They made me like this. One of their abominations got me.

(Y/n): Abomination?

Lady: A motherfucker in a black leather jacket with a grey hood.

Your eyes widened. It couldn't be, could it? Alex does possess the ability to make others like him. Just like he did to you. Maybe the lady was dying and he saved her too?

(Y/n): Okay. Listen I can probably help you. The man who did this is my uncle. I'm sure if we find him he can clear up why he did this.

The lady stopped and looked at you.

Lady: What?! Your uncle did this to me?!

Her arms become developed in biomass. Her arms are surrounded by the black and red biomass while her hands have grown into black spheres. The black spheres drop to her feet, attached to a string of black and red biomass. Suddenly black spikes pop out of them.

(Y/n): Oh that is so fucking awesome.

The woman then jumps ten feet in the air and brings her mace-like fists down on top of you. You however backflip away and transform your arm into its blade form. You drag the blade along the ground creating small sparks.

(Y/n): Hope you don't mind but, I'm going to call the weapons you have there, Macefists. Is that cool?

The lady screams in anger. You sigh and bring your blade up close to your face defensively.

(Y/n): It's cool. To me at least.
