Sapphire was an everyday fifteen year old girl who was going to high school. However she only had a handful of friends and always sat in the back of the class away from everyone else. She also wore an eye patch on her left eye and whenever anyone asked about it she would say she lost her eye in an accident. Right now she was sitting in her final class for the day which was her French class.

Sapphire liked this class but she didn't want anyone to notice her let alone have the teacher make her read something out loud so she'd just sit in the back with her white hoodie over her head. She scanned the classroom while listening to the teacher talk and she heard a few kids whispering about her.

"I heard she lives in the woods alone." A girl said.

"Yeah suits that cyclops." Another girl said.

Sapphire didn't care about being called cyclops as it never escalated to a fist fight as the school was a violence free zone. Anyone who'd bully a student and physically hurt them would be immediately expelled and banned from the property. So Sapphire ignored the comments from the other students and just continued on with her life.

However she still did have her left eye but there was a reason she kept it hidden from everyone and lied about losing it, but it was something personal and she never wants to think about it.

Soon the school day ended and Sapphire went to her locker and got her stuff.

"Hey Sapphire, where are you going after school?" A girl named Shara who was also Sapphire's friend asked.

"Just heading down to the local coffee shop to do my homework then heading home." Sapphire said.

"Aww come on Sapphire come out and have some fun with me and the other girls." Shara suggested.

"Sorry Shara but my dad has a curfew for me and you know how some single parents can be." Sapphire explained.

"*Sigh* yeah I just wish he'd loosen up and stop being so protective of you after all your fifteen you can stay out for a few hours." Shara complained.

"Yeah well I'll see you tomorrow I'm allowed to be outside I just have to get home before curfew that's all." Sapphire said then started walking off.

"Okay but try talking to your dad about cutting your curfew by some hours so you can be more of a teenager!" Shara called out.

"I'll try but I don't know he can be stubborn!' Sapphire called back before leaving the school.

When she got to the coffee shop she saw that as usual it was packed as it was a very busy spot in town and it was quite popular.

"Hmm I think I'll get my usual here." Sapphire said to herself and got in the shortest line as she didn't want to be there for long.

When it came up to her turn she made her order. "Hello I'd like a double milk chocolate mochaccino with a chocolate cake." Sapphire ordered.

"Hey Sapphire, nice to see you again." The barista greeted.

"Huh? How do you know my name?" Sapphire asked, confused.

"Oh it's me Oliver I'm always on shift when you come here, that and you stand up to the entitled customers for me." Oliver explained.

"Oh right sorry I guess I didn't pay attention that well." Sapphire said while rubbing the back of her head.

"It's okay I'll get you your drink and cake." Oliver said then went to go make the drink.

After he was done with the coffee he went into the desert cabinet and took out the cake. He put the cake in its bag and slipped an extra cake for Sapphire in the bag.

"Here you go one chocolate mochaccino and one chocolate cake." Oliver said.

"Thanks, I really enjoy the drinks and food this place makes." Sapphire said.

"Any time and I do my best to make good drinks for the customers here." Oliver said.

"Well keep it Oliver see you around." Sapphire said then went to sit down at a nearby table and started doing her homework.

Oliver stood at the counter staring at Sapphire with a dreamy look on his face and his eyes practically having hearts in them.

"Hey kid! You gonna take my order?" One of the customers asked.

"Huh Oh yeah sorry." Oliver said then took the next customer's order.

However his attention was more on Sapphire as she looked so pretty with the light on her long hair.

(Later)

Sapphire was sitting on a park bench in an isolated area she wanted to enjoy the daylight before she had to go home. Just then a burning pain hit her left eye which made Sapphire hold her eye in pain.

"Agh! I better get home soon and take this off. It's starting to get painful holding it back." Sapphire said to herself.

"Oh you okay?" A guy's voice asked.

Sapphire looked to her right and saw Oliver sitting next to her on the bench.

"Oh Hey Oliver yeah I'm fine the area where my left eye is just hurting that's all" Sapphire explained.

"Oh okay well Um, i-if you're free Friday night could I have the honor of taking you out to dinner?" Oliver asked.

"Huh oh you're asking me out on a date?" Sapphire asked.

"Um yeah." Oliver answered.

"Well I'd like to go out but I barely even know you Oliver. Maybe if you went to my school then we'd get to know each other more and I'll see if you're the kind of person I would like to date." Sapphire explained.

"Oh Um yeah sorry if I made this awkward then" Oliver said then put his face in his hands out of embarrassment.

"Hey it's cool... well I better get home otherwise my dad will freak out." Sapphire said she then got her stuff and made her way home.

Oliver just stayed seated on the bench thinking about what Sapphire said.

'Yeah, yeah That's what I'll do. I hate my school anyway and my mom won't care if I transfer so I'll go to Sapphire's school so I can be with her more often.' Oliver thought to himself.

(The next day)

Sapphire was sitting in her first class of the day waiting for class to start. Soon the teacher came into the room with some papers in her hand.

"Good morning Class before we start I wanna let you all know that a new student transferred to our school, Oh here he is. Everyone, meet Oliver Lofer." The teacher then gestured over to Oliver who just entered the room.

"Hello there I'm Oliver and I'll be attending your school for now. I'm a very sports loving guy, I race, lift weights, and I train in self defense fighting." Oliver said introducing himself.

'Huh? I guess Oliver took my little joke literally.' Sapphire thought to herself.

"Oliver, why don't you take a seat next to Sapphire." The teacher suggested.

"Alright thank you" Oliver said then went to his new seat.

"Hey I didn't expect you to take my joke literally." Sapphire said.

"Oh you were joking, well I do want to get to know you more. Besides I hate my old school and since this one is a violence free zone it's perfect for me." Oliver explained.

"Well you'll like it because you wont get harassed by guys whenever you're on school grounds." Sapphire said while rolling her eyes.

'Hmm so guys want Sapphire's body. Hehe sorry but she's the only person in the world who makes me feel happy and important. She saved me from suicide and I'll do what ever it takes to keep her safe and win her heart' Oliver thought to himself before having his attention back to the lesson.

(Later at lunch)

Sapphire was sitting at the lunch table with her friends talking about school stuff and their home life.

"So yeah my mom discovered spiders in the garden Haha!" A boy named Charles laughed as he just told a funny story.

"Hehe, I wish I could've been there. Your mom has the most funny reaction when she gets scared." A boy named Ben said.

"Yeah oh and my mom's learning Portuguese. Last night she said something in Portuguese that translated to ''my gums bleed when I brush my teeth." Shara said.

"That's not a real problem she has right?" Sapphire asked.

"Oh no I checked and she's fine." Shara reassured.

"Good cause I think you should go see a dentist when that happens." Sapphire explained.

"Hey Um, is this seat taken?" Oliver asked.

Sapphire looked at him and saw that he had a full tray and Oliver looked like he was struggling to find a seat.

"Oh no it's not you can sit with us." Sapphire said.

Oliver smiled and sat down next to her and Sapphire smiled to happy to have made someone else happy.

"So Oliver, what made you want to transfer to Hail wood high?" Charles asked.

"Oh well I hated my old school and I needed a change of paste." Oliver explained.

"Hmm yeah that's a good reason to come here." Shara said.

"Yeah, especially since this place is a violence free zone. From what I learned, apparently the principal's best friend in High school killed herself due to bullying so she stated that she'll make the school a violence free zone to keep anyone else from suffering the same kind of pain she did." Ben explained.

"Oh well that's sad that she lost her friend like that." Oliver said.

"Yeah but hey she made this school a better place because of it and yeah there are some gossipers but only 1% of the school has those kinds of people so it's pretty good." Charles explained.

"Cool so um are any of you dating by any chance?" Oliver asked.

"Huh? Oh I'm not dating but I do like Bethany from class-CD she's cute and crafty, I like that in a girl." Charles explained.

"I'm not interested in dating any boys yet as I only want to focus on school right now." Shara said.

"As for me, I like Ruby from PE. She's strong, athletic, kind, sweet, and caring. In my eyes she is the perfect girl for me." Ben explained.

"Ahh Okay, sounds interesting." Oliver said.

'Good so none of Sapphire's friends are interested in her.' Oliver thought to himself.

(Later after school)

Sapphire was at her locker collecting her things till she heard someone's hand slam against the locker next to her.

"Why hello there sexy wanna go back to my place where we can have fun?" A boy's voice asked in a seductive tone.

Sapphire closed her locker door and saw the boy who had a seductive smile on his face.

"Ugh No I'm not interested in disgusting freaks." Sapphire rejected him and left school in a huff.

Oliver was watching from his locker not too far from Sapphires and saw what had just happened.

'Ha serves you right, sorry but Sapphire is my dream girl and I don't want her to be with creeps like you' Oliver thought to himself.

Later Sapphire was walking home, unaware that she was being followed by someone else.

Just then a black van parked right next to her and two guys in fully black suits and masks jumped at her. Sapphire got scared and tried to run away but one of the men chloroformed her unconscious and dragged her in the van.

(Later)

"Haha! We've got a girl and she's quite the hottie." One of the men said while looking at Sapphire in a disgusting way.

"Yeah she is, ohh I can't wait to use her." Another one of the men said.

"I wonder how much she'll even cost at the bidding?" The man in the passenger set asked.

"She looks to be worth a few hundred with that body." The boss (who was driving) said.

Just then they heard a thump outside and the car soon came to a forced stop.

"The fuck did we hit something?" The passenger seat man asked.

"I'll check it out, you boys stay here and keep an eye on that girl." The boss then unbuckled his seat and got out of the van.

When he took a look at what happened he saw that their tires were slashed and were flat now, which could've been the cause of the car stopping.

"What the hell! The Fuck happened out here did we hit a nail or something?" The boss asked.

At that moment his question was answered when a man came out from the front of the van. He had a white mask that had a red heart painted on it along with S+O covering his whole face. He was also wearing a blue jacket with the hoodie up, black gloves, black pants, and gray shoes.

When the boss saw him he tried to pull his gun out but the masked man was faster and pulled out a handgun then pulled the trigger. The bullet went right through the boss's head and he fell to the floor dead; blood pouring from the hole that the bullet made in his head.

"BOSS! WHAT HAPPENED I HEARD A GUNSHOT AND-" The passenger seat asked in a panic before he saw his boss lying dead on the ground along with the masked man.

"Y-you SON OF A BITCH YOU KILLED OUR BOSS!" The passenger man screamed angry and got his gun out to try and kill the masked man to avenge his boss.

However the masked man dodged the bullets and ran up to the other man. He pulled out a knife and slashed the man's throat which caused him to drop his gun and hold his hands to his throat to try and stop the bleeding. However the masked man punched him hard in the face which in turn knocked him out.

The other two men who were in the back and watching Sapphire came out of the van with machine guns.

"WHO'S OUT THERE!?" One of the men screamed.

"COME OUT NOW AND WE'LL THINK ABOUT LETTING YOU LIVE!" The other man shouted.

Just then an ax slammed on one of the men's heads, spitting it open and guessing blood everywhere like a fountain. The other man stood frozen in fear by the death of his comrade. He took a look at the top of the car and saw the masked man holding the bloody ax along with a bloody knife.

The man started screaming and unloading his gun trying to kill the masked man. However he moves so fast like an Olympic runner and soon the other man's gun ran out of bullets.

The masked man wasted no time and ran up to the final man standing and stabbed him in the arm. The final man screamed in agony and tried to punch the masked man but he just blocked it with the hand gun. The masked man then put the barrel of the hand gun to the last man's chin and shot his tongue and brain out.

The masked man then put his weapons back into their holders and looked around at his handy work. He then took a look into the still open van and saw Sapphire sleeping peacefully.

"Hehe even when you're sleeping you're so cute." The masked man then picked her up and took her away from the crime scene.

(An hour later)

Sapphire awoke with a start as the last thing she remembers is being kidnapped by a masked man. However when her vision cleared up she saw that her head was lying in somebody's lap.

"Huh? What happened?" Sapphire asked herself.

"I found you lying unconscious on the streets." A guy's voice said.

Sapphire looked up and saw Oliver who had a book in his hands and was looking down at Sapphire.

"Wait, I could've sworn that some freaks in a van kidnapped me." Sapphire said while rubbing her head.

"Well I found you on the sidewalk unconscious so I brought you to the park so you could have a more comfortable place to relax." Oliver explained.

"Oh well thanks Olive- Wait, WHAT TIME IS IT?!" Sapphire asked before shooting up in a sitting position.

"Um, it's 11:30 why?" Oliver asked.

"OHH FUCK I NEED TO GET HOME DAD'S GONNE FREAK OUT IF I DONT GET HOME SOON!" Sapphire exclaimed in a panic before collecting her stuff and running home before her curfew.

"THANKS FOR THE HELP OLIVER BUT I NEED TO GET HOME BEFORE CURFEW!" Sapphire thanked as fast as she could before running back to her house.

"Anytime Sapphire after all hehe it's thanks to you I'm still alive." Oliver said while waving to Sapphire even if she couldn't hear him.
