After Jane left, Carlos tried to keep himself from worrying about her but then thinking about her and they spent the day together definitely wasn't of much help.

So instead he took his laptop and started researching on demons, origins and stuffs like that.

There were variety of them. But a particular one caught his attention. "Chernabog."

He kept reading the article about it. A demon with no tragic backstory, does evil for fun.
Powers: can summon other demons and goblins, Pyrokinesis umbrakinesis, superspeed, superstrength

(There's a whole lot more but I'm just going to keep it limited. The bastard's too powerful)

"For the love of my mother's coat it better not be him." Carlos said worriedly.

Someone knocked on the door.

"Coming." Carlos said before the person opened the door revealing Evie.

"I said coming." Carlos said.

"I heard come in. Where's Jay?" Evie asked.

"In the bathroom. Any specific reason you decided to grace me with your presence?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah. I think it would be a good idea if you went to see Fairy Godmother." Evie said.

"I don't see a reason to." Carlos said.

"Are you serious? You skipped school today and you transformed. Maybe she can help you with that." Evie said.

"Already got it under control. I'm making my researches." Carlos said.

"Do I have to drag you to her office?" Evie asked.

Carlos groaned knowing there was no point in arguing with Evie.

"Fine." Carlos said as he set his laptop aside.

"Good boy." Evie said like a proud mother.

Carlos followed Evie and exited the room. Evie escorted him to Fairy Godmother's office just to be sure he meets her.

Carlos knocked and entered once Fairy Godmother said "come in."

"Oh Carlos. I was going to send for you soon. Please sit." Fairy Godmother said.

Carlos sat on a chair.

"So what can I help you with?" Fairy Godmother asked.

"I believe you said you were going to call for me." Carlos said.

"Yes but you came here on your own. So I thought there was a reason." Fairy Godmother said.

"Actually I came because I felt you would like to see me." Carlos said.

"Okay. I'd like to talk about your transformation." Fairy Godmother said.

"What about it?" Carlos asked.

"Were you in full control?" Fairy Godmother asked.

"Yes. I stopped and transformed back at will." Carlos said.

"Okay that's good. Do you know who your father is?" Fairy Godmother asked.

"No." Carlos asked.

"Ok.Well we are taking Chad to court. And as such when he is giving his testimony, I'm sure he's going to mention your attempted murder. Just wanted you to know and prepare for that." Fairy Godmother said.

Carlos nodded. "Thank you."

"No problem dear." Fairy Godmother said.

"Um Fairy Godmother. Can I stay with Jane in her room tonight? Only because I want to make sure she's safe. I swear nothing else is going to happen. Whatever you are thinking." Carlos mumbled.

Fairy Godmother laughed. "Carlos I trust you. But only for tonight. I can't have you breaking the rules."

"Thank you." Carlos said as he left her office.

During dinner time, Carlos sat at their usual table. He looked around for Jane. But she was nowhere to be found.

"Maybe she's in her room." Jay said as he noticed Carlos looking around.

"Or in trouble." Carlos mumbled.

"Stop being so paranoid." Evie said.

"If you're so worried, why don't you just go check in her room?" Mal said.

"Yeah so I can eat in peace." Jay said as Evie and Mal glared at him.

"Good idea." Carlos said as he took his tray to Jane's room.

When he knocked and there was no response he became worried.

"Jane it's Carlos open up please." Carlos said as he knocked again.

After what seemed like forever, the door creaked open revealing a sleepy Jane

Carlos got relieved as soon as he saw Jane. She opened the door and let him in.

"I didn't see you at the cafeteria so I brought you dinner." Carlos said showing her his tray.

When Jane saw the tray she could tell that it was his dinner. It being full of chocolate and all.

"Carlos you don't have to give up your dinner for me." Jane said.

"Okay. You got me. Can we share please?" Carlos asked hopefully.

"Um sure okay." Jane said as they both devoured the food.

They both ate like children which was cute and funny.

Carlos looked Jane who had chocolate smudged on her lips. He bit down on his lips to supress the urge to kiss her.

"Wait why can't I kiss her? She's my girlfriend after all we already kissed twice today." Carlos thought.

"You got something on your lips. Let me get that." Carlos said as he leaned in and kissed her.

Jane was shocked at first but then she kissed back.

Her lips tasted like chocolate with a mix of her strawberry lipstick.

When they broke the kiss, they both looked stunned.

"Wow. I just found my favorite way to eat chocolate." Carlos said.

Jane blushed furiously.

"Is it all gone?" Jane asked.

"Not really no." Carlos said.

"Okay. I'm just going to go shower." Jane said.

"Oh okay." Carlos said.

As soon as Jane left to the bathroom Carlos laid down on the other bed staring at the ceiling. Wondering where he suddenly got the boldness from.

Then someone knocked on the door. Carlos opened the door and was shocked to see Jay with some clothes.

"Um what's happening?" Carlos asked.

"You are staying right? Well it'd be a good idea to shower and change." Jay said as he handed Carlos the clothes.

"Oh wow. You care." Carlos teased.

"Of course I care about Jane. You think I want her to sleep next to a stinky Carlos?" Jay said.

"I hate you." Carlos said.

"Love you too bro. Bye." Jay said as he left.

"I did it. Are you happy?" Jay asked.

"Yes." Evie replied.

When Carlos took the clothes, he put them on Lonnie's bed.

Jane came out shortly after already in her pajamas. Her makeup was washed off so he could see her bruises and hickeys clearly.

"I thought you left." Jane said.

"Nope. I'm staying with you tonight. I already asked your mom for permission." Carlos said.

"Oh wow okay great." Jane said.

"Let me shower real quick." Carlos said as he headed to her bathroom.

After a while, he cocked his head out of the bathroom door as he called Jane's attention.

"Jane, I kinda forgot my clothes on Lonnie's bed. Do you think you could get it for me?" Carlos asked embarrassed.

"Hmm." Jane said like she was thinking about it.

"Seriously." Carlos said still embarrassed.

"Okay but you owe me a favor. Deal?" Jane asked.

"Yes whatever you want your majesty." Carlos said as he stretched his arm out the door.

Jane handed him his clothes and after a short while, he came out still looking embarrassed.

Jane tried not to laugh.

"I think you are spending too much time with Mal." Carlos said.

"Hmm. I like it." Jane said.

"Ok well we best get to bed." Carlos said.

"Will you-"

"Yes. I'll stay with you on your bed." Carlos said.

"That's not what I wanted to ask." Jane said.

"Oh sorry I just assumed that-" Carlos said nervously.

"I was kidding. Geez." Jane said.

"Okay you really gotta stop spending so much time with Mal." Carlos said as he got in the bed with her.

"Carlos. Thank you for today. You are the best boyfriend any girl can ask for." Jane said.

"You're welcome princess." Carlos said as they laid down.

"Jane does it bother you?" Carlos asked.

"What?" Jane asked.

"That I'm not human. That I'm a demon." Carlos said.

"No. It doesn't matter to me Carlos. Just because you are a demon doesn't mean you are a demon." Jane said.

"You think so?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah. Good night Carlos." Jane said.

"Goodnight Jane." Carlos said.
