Jane, Carlos, Jay and Evie transported back to Jay and Carlos dorm.

"This is not how I envisioned today to go." Jay said.

"Really? Right now?" Evie asked annoyed by Jay's insensitivity.

"Um you guys can go on I'll stay here with her." Carlos said

"Sure. At lunch I'll come with Mal so we can talk about your transformation." Evie said

"Okay no problem." Carlos said.

"Come on let's go. You too dude." Evie said as she left with Jay and dude following behind.

Once they left Carlos closed the door and looked at Jane.

Jane was sitting on his bed looking everywhere but at him. He went to sit beside her.

"Hey, are you okay?" Carlos asked concerned

Jane just nodded her head without looking at him.

"Hey look at me." Carlos said as he used his hand to raise her head up to face him.

Her eyes were red and her face was tear stained.

It made Carlos heart break and he suddenly started regretting not killing Chad.

"It's going to be alright." Carlos said soothingly.

Jane turned her face back to the floor. "Carlos you don't have to do this. I completely understand." Jane said in a low and hoarse tone.

Carlos face scrunched up in confusion. "I don't have to do what?" He asked.

"You don't have to pretend that you still want to go on with the relationship. I know you're doing this out of pity so just stop." Jane said sobbing again.

Carlos stood up from the bed and knelt in front of her holding her hands in his.

"Jane i'm not doing this out if pity. I'm doing this because I care about you. And I always will no matter what." Carlos reassured

"But I'm not clean. There's no way you are going to kiss me knowing that Chad-" Jane didn't get to finish her statement when Carlos kissed her.

It was their official first kiss and Carlos had taken her by surprise. But he was careful enough not to hurt her or trigger her.

"Does that clear your doubt?" Carlos answered.

Jane didn't respond after all it might have been just a comforting kiss.

"Jane I love you and always will. I don't care what that bastard's done to you. Because to me you'll always be the purest girl I'll ever meet." Carlos said

"You love me?" Jane asked stuttering a little.

"Yes I do and always will." Carlos said.

Jane cracked a small smile.

"You look exhausted. Go on get some sleep. I'll be here if you need me." Carlos said.

"Um can you stay in the bed with me? Please?" Jane asked shyly.

"Of course if you want." Carlos said as he got in the bed with her.

She laid her head on his chest while he wrapped his arms around her.

"I won't let anyone else hurt you ever again." Carlos said as he kissed the top of her head.

She then fell asleep and after some time Carlos started to drift to sleep too.

Jane kept tossing and turning whimpering lighty on the bed after a while she shot awake breathing heavily.

Carlos because of all the movement woke up as well.

"Are you okay?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah it was just a bad dream." Jane said.

"You wanna talk about it?" Carlos asked.

She shook her head

"Okay. It's alright it was just a dream." Carlos said as he hugged her stroking her hair.

Carlos looked at the time. "It's almost lunch. Mal and Evie would be here any minute now."

"Okay." Jane said.

After a while Mal and Evie came bursting through the door.

"I swear I'm gonna burn that bastard to crisp. Are you okay?" Mal asked Jane

"I am now thanks." Jane said.

"We got you guys lunch." Evie said as she kept a tray of food on Carlos table.

"Hey Carlos can I talk to you over there?" Mal asked as she walked with Carlos to the door.

Evie was currently on the bed with Jane scanning her body for any spots she missed.

"Jane why didn't pick up your mom's call? She's been calling since morning." Evie said.

"Oh I had no idea. I must have left my phone at the tower when Chad-" she stopped her sentence halfway.

"It's alright no problem. Um Carlos can you go to the Castle and get Jane's phone?" Evie asked  Carlos.

"We'll stay here with her." Mal added.

"Okay." Carlos said as he went to get her phone.

"Jane as lady of the court, I'm gonna use my power and make sure Chad does not get away with this. I promise." Mal said to Jane.

Jane nodded and smiled at her.

Someone knocked on the door before opening it revealing it to be Carlos.

"How did you get here so quickly?" Evie asked.

"I flew." Carlos said.

"Here's your phone." Carlos said handing the phone to Jane.

Jane took it and thanked him. Opening the phone she saw 16 missed calls from her mom.

"I'm going to call my mom." Jane said as she called her mom
Phone conversation
Jane: hey Mom

FG: oh Jane dear I've been worried sick. Where are you? Why weren't you in classes? Are you sick? You looked fine this morning.

Jane: I'm cutting classes but I'll see you after school to explain everything and don't worry I'm fine.

FG: I don't understand but I trust you I'll see you after school
End of phone conversation

"Okay we'll be heading back to class. See you guys later." Mal said.

"Okay bye." Carlos said.

They left the room and Carlos sat back on the bed with Jane.

"You wanna eat?" Carlos asked.

"I'm not hungry." Jane said.

As much as Carlos wanted her to eat he wasn't going to force her.

"Okay then get some more rest." Carlos said.

"Okay." Jane said as she laid down on the bed with Carlos right next to her.
