Chapter 31 - Together Again
(Goth)
As soon as we entered the cabin, I kissed Palette and asked him to let me down. He did so, dropping me lightly to my feet. I looked around the cabin, content that I was home again.
"Oh, I wish we could stay here forever..." I sighed. I felt Palette slip his arms around me and kiss my skull.
"We can," he breathed against my skull. I scoffed at the idea.
"It's just a day-dream, Pally," I sighed again, "We can't stay here alone forever..."
"But we can, babe," he purred, "I've already talked to Ink and Marvul about it. They gave me the keys and said I could live here, with you, so we could have our family."
"Family..." I breathed. I turned to him, concerned.
"What about mom and dad? They won't let me live here with only you. You don't even have a job!"
"Actually, I do," he looked a little smug, "I have a few art commissions I'm working on. Getting paid pretty well for it, too. But I'm sure they'll be okay with it. We just have to ask."
I crossed my arms, staring at him, "We've been dating for five months. You've already gotten me pregnant. Geno won't let me live here with you, no matter what you say."
"Oh, I think I can change his mind..." he said slyly.
"Oh, and how?" I asked skeptically.
"You'll have to wait and see," he said cryptically. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the couch, laying down tiredly. I felt suddenly exhausted, too tired of the stress of the past week and the expense of the thought of Geno saying no to me living with Palette.
"Babe, you okay?" Palette asked.
"I'm fine, my tease," I looked up at him, "Would you make me something to eat? I'm starved," I asked him pleadingly.
"Only if you say the magic word~" he purred, leaning over me.
"Please do it, you have no choice in the matter," I commanded him.
"Only because you said please," he said, grinning as he walked away. I waited for him, settling into the couch. It felt super comfortable, especially as it supported my back. My eyes fluttered closed, drifting off in the comfort and tiredness.

And...he fell asleep. He's hungry, and he fell asleep. Great.
I sighed, setting down my dinner makings as I heard him snore. I love his little snores, they were so soft and cute. I went over to look at him on the couch, smiling gently as I listened to his gentle murmurs and snores.
Smirking slightly, I hooked a finger at the bottom of his shirt and lifted it up to gaze longingly at our little baby. I rubbed a little circle on his belly, leaning over the back of the couch.
"I've missed you, wittle bones..." I cooed at the child, wondering if he or she could even hear me. Goth stirred a bit, mumbling something. His hands went to mine naturally, lacing his fingers in them with a soft sigh. "I've missed you, too, my wittle Gothy..."
Gently pulling my hand out of his grip, I made my way around the couch and crawled over Goth, settling myself behind his legs while hugging his waist. He grumbled some more, shifting a bit as I settled in.
"I love you so much, babe..." I whispered, hugging him tightly, "If only you knew how much I love you..."
I closed my eyes, I wanna be with you forever is how much I love you...
(Goth)
Blinking my eye sockets open, I shifted a bit to discover Palette laying behind me, sleeping on my shoulder. Sighing, I snuggled into him more, wrapping his arms around my chest. In my shifting, I looked down to see that he had tugged my shirt up. Rolling my eyes, I pulled it back down only to find his hand gripping the hem.
"Oh, Palette..." I muttered, trying to pry his fingers off my shirt. But he mumbled and held it tighter, hugging me to his chest.
"Mine," he mumbled into my skull.
"Palette, are you asleep?" I asked him, turning around as much as I could.
"No," he muttered, "But you're reaaallly comfy..."
"You lazy ass, let me pull my shirt down," I told him.
He sighed, "No."
He started rubbing a circle on the magic belly, and it soothed me against my will. I let out a little sigh before trying to glare at him, "Stop it."
"No," he said simply.
"Palette..." I tried to threaten him.
"No. You're grouchy and you need to calm down," he snuggled into me more.
"Do you plan on snuggling me to get me to calm down? Because right now all I am is annoyed at you."
"Well..." he looked me in the eyes, taking one of his hands and softly caressing my cheek, "There are a few other things that might calm you down..."
"I'm not up for watching one of your movies," I told him.
"No, not that," he nuzzled me, "I had my mind on something else..."
"Ugh, Palette, I'm too tired..." I sighed, rolling my head back and settling into the couch again.
"Not that either," he said seriously, "I was thinking me and you could go snuggle in bed and take a nap together. I love being this close to you."
"But I don't wanna move, Pally..." I whined. Palette smirked and sat up quickly. I was laying on his lap, so he easily hooked his arms beneath my legs and back to lift me up. I just let it happen, staying limp in his arms as he carried me to the bedroom.
He set me on the bed, then sat next to me and pulled his shirt off before laying down with me. I heard the thumps of his boots as he kicked them off and settled down next to me. I rolled onto my side to look at him, resting my head on my hands as he looked over at me. Seeing him turn and grin at me reminded me starkly of Rurik, then I realized that they were the same person mostly. This Palette was softer though, and sometimes I enjoyed it. Sometimes it just wasn't him and it was annoyingly bad.
"Am I going to be the shirtless one in this relationship?" Palette asked sarcastically.
"Only if you want to wear the pants in this family," I smirked at him. He smirked back. His hand snaked onto my hip and pulled me close. I tugged the blanket over the two of us and buried my face into his bare chest as he wrapped his arms around me.
"We both know you're the one wearing the pants in this family," he whispered, "I just follow orders."
"Well, you're really bad at following orders."
"That doesn't mean I'm in charge."
"True, you aren't," I nuzzled his chest, "Just glad you said it and not me."
"Hey!"
I yawned, flipping over so Palette could spoon me properly and I could hold his hands. I still felt really tired, even after my first nap. I had spent a lot of energy recently and now that I relaxed, it caught up with me. Yawning again, I curled up a bit to sleep.
I soon relaxed and drifted away in the protection and comfort of Palette's arms.
(Palette)
He yawned and curled up like a cat in my arms. My imagination ran away when he snored softly and I convinced myself he purred. As he slept soundly, I stroked my little kitten as he purred in his sleep. I started imagining him with cat ears on his skull, little whiskers on his face, maybe a fluffy little tail...
He muttered something nonsensical and I snapped back to reality, blushing slightly at my imagination. I don't need a Neko Gothy... I have my Gothy right here, just as I want him.
Though I am going to start calling him 'kitten'. It sounds too cute.
"My little kittens..." I cooed, petting Goth's belly beneath his shirt.
I pulled his hips into mine, curling around him protectively as I settled in for my own nap. It helped that I was taller and that Goth curled up when he slept. He curled around his belly as I curled around his body, both of us protecting our child as it grew. Protecting it, together.
