Kakuzu still looked at her for some time and held her closer to himself. He breathed in her wonderful scent and thought about how sad it is he wouldn't be able to hold her forever.

The next day came by quickly as the female woke up alone in her bed. Her lover's scent was still on the bed sheets and she sighed. "He really didn't lie when he said he won't be able to stay until I wake up..." The (h/c) woman gazed at the empty space where Kakuzu laid and put a hand on it just to see it was already cold. "He left some time ago..." Her bare feet touched the ground as she moved over to her cupboard where she stored her stuff for their vacation. On top of the cupboard was a letter.

'In case you never told Yukiko my name... I now go by an alias. I am still searched for. If you tell her my name and if we meet tonight... please don't call me Kakuzu but Sadao (A/N: only Elite Jjba fans will know that reference). I love you'

She smiled reading the letter and whispered a soft 'I love you too' before putting the letter in her bag.

"I wonder what Yukiko is doing" She said while putting on some new clothes and going through her hair with a comb. "Hopefully she didn't wake up in someone else's bed..." (Y/N) sighed before grabbing her purse and going outside the inn. Looking for a nice place to eat breakfast at, she went through the streets before seeing a small restaurant.

After she said down she only had one thought in her head. "How can I tell Yukiko about meeting her father?"

"Oh... Ah... Ugh..." Yukiko opened her eyes tiredly and rubbed them before looking around. "Ah Thank God I somehow made it to my room..." She chuckled before laying on her back again and closing her eyes again. "How late is it? Judging by how much the sun is blinding me it must be around eleven thirty-four... mabye thirty-three" Yukiko looked at the clock in her room and smirked after reading the time 11:34am "Thirty-four. I was right. Good to know that after all that alcohol I am still able to know this. Where did that guy go? He wasn't even half bad... Ah who cares I will never see him again"

Her monologue ended with someone knocking on her door. "Who is there?" She yelled only to hear a familar chuckle. "So you are awake and well. It is I. Your mother. I brought some food for you" Yukiko went stood up and opened the door. "You even remembered to lock the door when coming home. I am proud of you" (Y/N) laughed and gave her the bag of food. "I also have something important to tell you."

Her daughter gazed up at her with those green eyes she got from her father and changed into new clothes. "What is it?" "I...I met someone yesterday. Someone really important in my life. It is crazy for me. Even now." Yukiko chuckled. "You are sounding as if you met my real dad" (Y/N) started at her startled and the younger woman stared at her mother with big eyes. "W-Wait. You really met him!? God he must look so old now"

The (e/c) woman chuckled and shook her head. "I met him. Oh he still looks the same. Like me he isn't able to age. I told him about you. He was worried. He never knew if you survived everything. Would you... perhaps like to meet him? He invited us to eat dinner with him and his colleague tonight. He said it is up to you if you want to meet him." The black haired lady stopped putting on her shirt and thought.

Do I want to meet him? What if he doesn't expect someone like me? I don't even know how I should expect him to look. But mother looks so much happier and brighter after meeting him yesterday. Mabye it is fate?

"I...-" "You can take your time deciding... He wants to meet up in the evening in front of the inn so you still have time to-" "No" Yukiko interrupted her mother. "No. I don't need to think about it. I want to meet him. I want to know who that father of mine is. I want to meet him. And if I don't like him then I will just leave. Can I at least know his name?" (Y/N)'s face lit up and she hugged her daughter. "His name is Sadao. It is an alias. He is still a wanted man after breaking out of jail. So he needs to keep this. He told me to not tell you his real name for safety reasons. So just call him Sadao"

"Sadao? Alright... And what about this colleague of him?" (Y/N) shrugged her shoulders. "He didn't tell me anything about him. He only invited him to break the ice" Yukiko nooded and continued changing into daily clothes before washing up a little and then started eating her food.

"So... What hour will we meet?" The woman thought for a second before answering. "Around seven I think... Would make sense. He has work to do before our little meeting." "Alright. Then we will have enough time to talk a stroll through the village again and to get ready. I want to see the dog and cat statues. They hold a festival every year and I really want to see how the preparations are going" Yukiko explained excited as she finished her food.

"Thank you for the meal, mother. I enjoyed it a lot. That is a good place! Take me there tomorrow too" She asked and (Y/N) ruffled her hair happily. "Of course. Then let's go? It sounds really interesting. I don't remember it being a big thing before" Yukiko nodded and hooked her arm into her mother's as they walk outside. "It has just been starting to be an annual festival as few years ago. They are praising the dog or the cat god, depending on which side they are on and it is really big. We came just in time for it. It will start in two days and is a three days celebration."

"That sounds very interesting! I am excited to see it" Mother and daughter continued talking about the festival, admired the effort people put into the preparation and time passed fast enough to the moment they got back to their inn to get ready.

A little author's note at the end:
The festival I am talking about is something that happened in Boruto. I don't know when it first happened but it took place in Yugakure and it sounded fun enough to put it in here and fill the story a little with a more fulfilling and wholesome scenarios haha.
