Manik was sitting on hospital bed with his glasses on and working on laptop.....bandage  on his forehead and some black smooth hair strands falling on the white bandage with a hospital robe...in that condition with a pale face he was still looking handsome as always........he was fully engrossed in his work as he didnt even notice nandini entering the room....a smile crept on her lips seeing her husband........manik frowned a little and then rubbed his temple while constantly looking at the laptop screen

N: manik u r stressing urself (looking at him in disbelief) stop working.....

Ma: okay boss 1 minute (he said passing her a smile while retracting his hand which was massaging his forehead as he was feeling a slight pain as he didnt want nandini to get a slightest hint of it........)

N: ab tmhare headache bhi horha hai (she came close to him and pushed the lid of laptop while taking it from him and placed it on nearby table whole he made a ttcchhh sound.......ignoring it she went behind him and pulled him back causing him to lean on pillows while she said in authoritative yet gentle tone close ur eyes and relax while her slender fingers started rubbing his temple gently in circles......he got peace as he felt her gentle touch and his lips stretched into a beautiful smile.......but his pending work.....the thought came in his mind

Ma: nandini bs thora sa kaam rhta tha (he said as he tried to get up but nandini pulled him back causing him to groan in irritation)

N: manik do u want me to send ur laptop and mobile back as u r not taking rest (massaging his scalp she said in strict tone)

Ma: but doctor said m fine now (he protested)

N: that doctor is not ur wife and u will do as i say (in attitude)

Ma: aise zaalim bv bhi kisi ko na mile (he sulked)

N: kia keh rhe tm (she said pulling his hair alittle oucchhhhhh nandini he said as he pushed her hand while tunred his head to pass her an angry glare)

Ma: stop acting like a strict mother 😑😑😑

N: so u should stop acting like a stubborn child (rolling her eyes) and now sushhhhh i dont wanna hear any single word from u

Ma: wese m really worried for our future children.......bechare mere bache itni zaalim maa mile ge unhe (he mourned while shaking his head)

His statement caused her cheeks to turn crimson red as she blushed hard thinking about their children.....but immediately masked it and replied

N: tmhare bache ab itne bhi bechare nhi hone.......apne baap pe hi jaye ge wo

While they kept arguing for long as they both loved it...after all they were the real TOM and JERRY

Ma: achaw nandini where is daadi (he said getting up as he held nandini's hand and pulled her in front)

N:  she was looking tired.....i have sent her home.....

Ma: thnku for taking care of daadi (he kissed her cheek)

N: wo mere bhi to daadi hai manik (rubbing her soft hand on his strong ones)

Ma: achaw aur cabir khan hai (he asked again making space for her in his bed while she gestured him to be comfortable and sat on the stool)

N: wo to nhi jarha tha ghar lekin mene use bhej dia....kaafi time se idhar tha nA wo

Ma: perfect ...achaw do u know ke mein kia kaam kar rha tha

N: mjhe kese pta hona......m not keeping a check on u (😏😏)

Ma: achaw achaw mere mini monster dont be angry.......mene aise hi pocha tha (he said smiling while she slapped his hand at the title he gave to her.....

Ma: ok listen mene bht imp baat Karne hai tmse (he made a serious face)

N: Haan Haan bolo (getting serious looking at his serious face)

Ma: Nandini mein Aman ke khilaaf proofs ko compile Kar rha tha (after completing the sentence he looked at her face to judge her face expressions)

N: kon Aman (then realization hit her as she remembered their conversation b4 the attack) tm uski baat Kar rhe ho (her eyes widened to which he simply nodded)

N: dobara kyon (she said with fear evident in her eyes)

Ma: I wanna reveal his evil face.....i wanna do that show

N: hmesha tmne mere se hi aise baat karne hoti hai

Ma: to tm dosri shaadi karwa do mere phir use se kar lia karo ga sare baate (he joked trying to lessen the tension in the environment)

N: fazool baate mat kia karo (she growled while he chuckled at her response......)

After 2 3 minutes nandini exhaled a helpless sigh and said MANIK

N: kia ye karna zaroori hai

Ma: nandini i dont want them to think ke mein dar gya hn....moreover it's about our country's future (he tried to explain her)

N: but what about us....what about our future....daadi.... mein... mukti hmara kia (getting pissed off) tmhe pta hai ke kitni mushkil se wo time guzara tha mene (her voice turned shaky at the end)

Ma: nandini sb theek hoga

N: tmhe yaad hai tmne ye usdin bhi bola tha (pushing  his hand lightly) aur phir kia hua i saw ur lifeless body on the stretcher.....tmhare liye to bara asaan hai na hmare se pocho hmare kia condition thi jab hmne tmhe us trah dekha tha (few tears made their way to her eyes......)

Ma: lekin (he tried to say sth but was cut off by nandini)

N: tmne karna hi hai to mere se pochne ki kia zaroorat hai (she was scared which was cmng out in the form of anger)

Ma: nhi aise baat nhi hai....ur opinion matters to me the most tbhi to tmhare se poch rha....(wiping the corner of her eyes he consoled her)

N: and what if i say no (looking at him with her face void of expression)

Manik stopped caressing her hand and looked at her stoic face....averting his gaze from her face he stared at their entwined fingers but said nothing....silence prevailed in the room which was cut of by manik

Ma: then i will not do it.....(she looked at him shocked while he kept staring at their hands) i will handover all the proofs to someone else...someone willing to do that job (he said in low tone)

N: but few minutes ago u wanted to do it......u were working on it from so long (her eyes widened in shock as she looked at him.....how could he give up so easily that too on a thing on which he was working from months)

Ma: u dont want me to do it and i dont wanna go against my family (his answer came like a whisper)

N: show kab hai (she said after a pause while looking straight into his eyes.....when manik could give up his dreams for her then she shouldn't let his efforts go waste just bcz of some fear)

Ma: matlab....ab is sab ka Kia karna (in low tone)

N: tyaari nhi karne tmne (a small smile crept on her lips)

Ma: no....nhi....(he looked at her shocked) tm sachi keh rhi na (he literally screamed to which she gave a slight node causing him to pull her for a hug......wrapping his arms around her said

Ma: thnku thnku thnku....i luv u so much (kissing her temple while she blushed furiously)

N: wait wait i have few conditions

Ma: sare conditions manzoor hai (he said in manik malhotra style 😎😎😎)

N: phle sun to le (she said rolling her eyeballs)

Ma: haan haan

N: 1st condition hai that i want full proof security.....i won't bear any carelessness this time (she glared at him)

Ma: like m not mukesh Ambani that i will hire whole squad 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

N: neither m asking for it (slapping his shoulder)

N: achaw 2nd condition is that i want to be with u at that time......i dont wanna stay away from u

Ma: (gave her a disturbed look....how could he just let her come in front of camera that too when their were so many enemies of him he thought) but its not possible

N: relax....m not saying that..(understanding his concerns).....i won't come infront of camera....I just want u infront of my eyes

Ma: achaw so u dont want to stay away from me even for a minute (he said in meaningful tone while stroking her cheek)

Kia karo mein is ka...har waqt bs yhi sochna isne (she mentally slapped and then held his hand pulling it away from her face)

N: 3rd condition(she announced looking at him)

Ma: puri list tyaar ki hui tmhne (🙄🙄🙄🙄) 1st 2nd 3rd kia lgaya hua tmne

N: chup kar ke baat suno......(glaring at him) ye sab yahan hospital mein nhi karna...ur show and all....ye sab hmare ghar pe hoga that too in the presence of guards...full prrof security....apne channel walo ko keh do ye sab as their is more risk in the hospital (in attitude with her voice sounding like an order)

Ma: okay mam....as u say (he said with his hand on chest and head bowing while she chuckled at his act)

N: tmhe pta hai kitne bare drama ho tm

Ma: waise nandini (pulling her closer) m very excited about my discharge......i wanna be in my home in my room with u as soon as possible

N: why

Ma: u really dont know (tucking her strand back her ear he spoke in husky voice) she got the meaning but stayed mum cause of shyness with her eyes glued on floor)

B4 he could say sth furthur their moment was disturbed by a nurse entering the room....nandini immediately pushed him away and started looking here and there while he made a serious face

Nurse: mam can u plzz go outside

Ma: why

Nurse: sir I (she stuttered at his stern tone)

Ma: either u have to do my dressing or give me some medicine,injection.......it could be done in her presence too....she is my wife (holding her hand stopping her from going out)

Nurse: sorry sir (she panicked)

She asked manik to remove his shirt and nandini looked at his bandaged stomach and bandage on his chest too.......nurse removed his bandage and then pressed cotton soaked in solution on his wound to which his grip on her hand tightened causing her to look at him.....his eyes partly closed while his knuckles tunred white at the strong grip.....though he wasnt showing it on his face but she knew it  was paining........roaming her fingers on his thick hair she tried to comfort him.....she smiled at him as he opened eyes to look at her......the whole time she was talking to him to divert his attention from that dressing......after the dressing she left his hand and moved away not b4 kissing his temple its done

They both were like this....always fighting with each other annoying each other but whenever they were there for eachother when one of them needed the other😍😍😍😍

N: achaw manik m cmng in a minute...i have to drink some water....as soon as she exited the room...manik averted his gaze towards nurse who was about to give him the injection......he looked at her with his brows furrowed together

Ma: what is this for.....u were not giving it b4

Nurse: sir it is to increase the healing process of wounds

Ma: but doctor hadnt informed me (getting negative vibes from her he stopped her from giving that injection)

Nurse: he must have forgot about it .....dw sir m saying na its for ur benefit only (holding his hand again)

Ma: no i would like the doctor to first explain me the whole thing.....(in firm tone)

Nurse: sir m telling u the details...u don't need doctor for this..(she panicked alittle)

Ma: call the doctor (sternly while glaring at her)

Nurse: sir if u dont wanna take it then i will not (she tried to handle the situation but looking at his expressions she immediately left from there while he mumbled shit nandini was right......his face muscles tensed as he thought about his show....HIS FAMILY

Ma:    CABIRRRRRRRRRR..... I NEED UR HELP...JALDI SE HOSPITAL AA (he typed the msg and waited for his response while looking at the door wanting to end it b4 nandini come

C: m not ur servant 🙄🙄🙄say plzz (unaware of the seriousness)

Ma: plzzzz (he typed immeditaley)

Glancing at the screen with wide eyes cabir guessed that it must be some serious issue thats why his moody arrogant frnd got agreed easily rather than answering him with a gud amount of  abuses.......he grabbed his things and left the house
