Manik took riya back to home immediately after the incident to avoid any mishap......he even hired two bodyguards for nandini and also increased the security of daadi's house moreover planning to brought her to his apartment for sometime.......next thing he did was to re-schedule mukti and riya's flight........he was a little relieved after doing all the arrangements but one thing was left...i.e to tell his family to be concious in a way that they shouldn't get a hint of what was happening........it was dinner time and everyone was eating their dinner...mukti and nandini talking about random things while manik was very quiet.... so unlike him.........mukti noticed it and then started examining his face and he seemed to be in a deep thought......mukti tried to involve him in conversation 2 3 times but he didnt show a slightest interest and became quiet after giving one word answer to all of their questions......atlast mukti spoke

Mu: what's wrong manik.....why u r so quiet.......

Ma: nothing

Mu: see today u haven't even praised nandini's cooking ......she is waiting for ur compliment (trying to make things smooth b/w them)

Ma: mukti its not a big deal....she wasnt waiting for my comoliment and u r making issue out of nothing (a bit loud.....getting itritated by everything)

Mu: really manik.....i have seen u guys pretending like a gud husband and wife in front of me...tmhe kia lga mjhe pta nhi chale ga manik...(nandini looked at him shocked + embarrased that she knew everything......)

Ma: dont drag the matter (sternly....he wanted to tell her to go back to America and she on the other side was arguing with him bcz of his married life......he passed a glare at guilty nandini who was thinking that it was happening bcz of her)

Mu: m ur sister manik (loudly.....he had never spoken to her in that manner and it was hurting her seeing him talking like this)

N: plzz guys don't fight (intervening b/w them trying to act as a mediator)

But manik stopped her by showing his hand

Ma: exactly u r my sister then act like one....m fulfilling my duties like a brother should do and thats what should matter to u......dont keep intruding in my personal life...and yeah u have a flight tomorrow...so i think u should focus on that(he knew he was rude but that was the only option he had to make her go back without her knowing the actual problem....he was frustated and his frustation turned into anger and he spoke what he shouldn't have)

After completing the sentence he looked at her and found tears glittering in her beautiful eyes.....he averted his gaze back to his plate and dug his nails more and more in his flesh feeling guilty

Mu: i never thought that we r separate.....hmesha hm hi shocha tha ye me myself kab aya..(their happy moments falshed b4 her eyes earning more tears)....i thought ur problems were mine also (she wiped warm tears off her face) but thats fine brother......i will not interfere in ur life again....and yeah i should go back aur haan tm mere awaaz sunne ke liye bhi tarsoo ge ab...... I hate u (she sobbed putting her hand on her mouth and ran from there...after that they heard loud sound of door slamming)

N: aap ne unhe naraz kar dia (looking at the door sadly)

Manik slammed the fork on plate and the chair screeched against the floor... manik stormed from their angrily......after few minutes the door flew open and mukti along with her luggage and riya came out of room angrily and glanced at manik angrily turned towards nandini and said

Mu: nandini m going to hotel....

Ma: itni der ko ghar se nikalne ki koi zaroorat nhi.....jao apne kamre mein (sternly)

Mu: mene tmhare se baat nhi ki so shut up .......wese bhi mjhe tmhare ghar mein rhne ka koi shouk nhi (she spat angrily)

Ma: mukti dont act childish......go to ur room (loudly holding her hand and dragging her towards her room)

N: manik plzzzz stop it kia hogya hai aap ko (removing mukti's hand from manik's grip)

She then took mukti with her to the room and consoled her......meanwhile manik threw everything off from the table thinking about the mess he created...it was just a start and ut ruined his relationship with mukti badly.....nandini spent 1 hour in diverting mukti's mind and cheering her up.......while on the other side riya sneeked out of the room and looked for her mamu.......she spotted her on sofa with disheleved hair and red eyes......she jumped on his lap making him gasp in surprise......he faked a smile and she spoke looking into his dark red eyes

Ri: aap bhi mom ki trah ro rhe the...(putting hee tiny hands on his face)

Ma: kia....mom ro rhi (he panicked....he never saw her crying ......even at their parents death she didnt cry.....she just became quiet putting a shell over herself masking her emotions and helped manik to come out of darkness and bcz of him she was crying.....he felt like punching himself for making her cry....he picked riya assuring her that her mother would be fine....he asked her to sleep in his room while he himself went towards mukti's room unable to take this anymore......her words u never gave me a chance to remember papa....u do all the things for me which he was doing in his life......u r the best brother echoed in his ears making him more guilty

He knocked the door and nandini opened the door......she was flabbergasted seeing manik there and thought he came there to fight with her again...so she said

N: manik aap yahan.....no more fights ......

He cut her in b/w and said

Ma: riya room mein sorhi tm jao wahan pe....mjhe isse kuch baat karne hai (and his words made mukti look at him but she said nothing......manik.assured nandini that he wouldnt fight with mukti and she left from there......manik closed the door and looked at mukti who was already looking at him....he took a step towards her and she passed a hateful glare towards him b4 engaging herself in mobile phone.....)

Manik sat beside her and hold her hand when she flinched away from him shouting

Mu: dont touch me (she growled)

Ma: m sorry mukti (looking at his lap with guilty unable to meet his eyes with her)

Mu: no u r not...and don't talk to me.....u broke my trust...my pride.....my everything (her tone turned shaky at the end)

Ma: i know i have crossed my limits but their was some problem going on in office and i just lashed out at u.... m such a jerk u know it.......plzzz i cant bear it anymore mukti.....m sorry for everything...for hurting u..for making u cry and for shouting at u

Mukti looked at him to find out he was very ashamed of his act........

Mu: hmmmmmmm....

Manik shifted with uneasiness in his place and said

Ma: i know u r angry and u have every right to get angry.....u can do whatever u want to reduce ur anger....u can even slap me but aise to na karo (he winced at her cold behaviour)

Mu: its okay (she whispered in low voice)

Ma: u forgave me (happily

Mukti ignored his question rather she questioned back

Mu: u were talking about some problem.....can u do the honours of telling me what is the actual problem.....is it sth serious (sarcasm dripping frok her voice)

Ma: but promise me first u will go back to America

Mu: i still havent forgiven u so dont act smart (she rolled her eyes)

Ma: i was in so much peace when u were angry with me....

Mu: m not talking to u get out of here (throwing pillows at him) chalo niklo (she pushed him making him stumble)

Ma: achaw achaw m sorry (he grabbed her wrist laughing)

Then he took her with him to the bed and both sat on bed....manik became serious which alarmed mukti also.....she stopped her nonsense......he took her hand in hers and said

Ma: mukti the thing is I have started a project in which m going to reveal the real faces of some popular people of India.....and u know its a little bit risky.....thats why I have hired bodyguards and tightened the security of our house back in village.....but i dont want u to stay here....its dangerous and .....and u know naa mukti.......(he spoke in plain tone without any fear....but he left the sentence incomplete unable to express his fears and also he didnt want to scare her by telling her àbout the evening incident)

Mu: what about u manik... (fear evident in her eyes)

Ma: hey nothing will happen....u know these r just safety measures (hugging her)

Mu: r u sure manik.......daadi u know her...she won't be able to bear further lose in this age

Ma: i just need ur support and nothing will happen (kissing her forehead to assure her)

Mu: m with u (hugging him)

After that they spent a wonderful night relishing the old gud memories....watching movie and stuff like that
