Nandini with careful steps came out of room and proceeded towards kitchen without any aid from manik or some stick.....she was happy and she called

N: manik (her voice loaded with emotions)

Ma: omg .....wow u can walk on ur own now........ M so happy to see this (he marched towards her and held her hand dragging her towards the dining table.....he made her sit on the chair and then went back to stove where he was preparing food for himself)

He kept expressing how much happy he was after seeing her standing on her feet and she was smiling thinking about this perfect man........the way he took care of her in those 3 months ......he pampered her like a kid.....he used to come home all tired and then help her in exercising....he spent couple of sleepless nights just bcz she wasn't well.....he bore all her tantrums and didn't for once make her realize about their past....the things she said to him.....he behaved like a perfect husband any body could ever wish for and it was all bcz of his efforts that she was walking without any aid.......manik looked at her to find her lost....he snapped his fingers in front of her eyes to get her attention and it did work.......manik looked at her with his eyebrow raised and she said

N: thnku

Ma: what (confused)

N: thnku for everything u did

Manik just smiled in return while placing breakfast on table.....he turned towards the counter to get coffee and nandini looked at the food placed in front of her and prepared a morsel for herself....she was about to put it in her mouth when she heard him shouting

Ma: it's mine

N: what

Ma: u r fine now....khud jake breakfast bnao (in attitude and nandini's mouth hung low at his words.......)

N: but tm hi mere liye breakfast prepare karte the naa

Ma: karta the past hai ab wo......koi cook rkha hai tmne mjhe 😑😑😑...... wese bhi remember tmne 1 dfa kha tha we will act like 2 strangers living under the same roof..... and strangers don't share their food naa (with a teasing smirk....he took a bite of his breakfast and made yummm sound which irritated her more)

N: idiot

Ma: thnku for the compliment (he winked at her)..... wese bhi daadi ne kha tha beemar (ill) logo ki help karte han Tbhi j helped u koi ghalat matlab lene ki zaroorat nhi

N: u didn't help me bcz u luv me (she was getting pissed off at his acts)

Ma: luv seriously (he laughed )..... mein 1 baar ki ghalti baar baar repeat nhi karta

N: but u said u wanted to marry me bcz u luved me (she whinned)

Ma: haan to 1 baar ki thi ghalti.... 4 mahino se us ki Saza mil rhi (he faked cries)

N: gth

Ma: accompany me plzzz (he said holding her hand......he just luved teasing her ......)

And after that nandini went away stomping her foot in anger mumbling Nd here I was describing how gud he is .....huh and manik had difficult time controlling his laugh.....

Night time

Manik came from office and saw nandini arranging table for dinner.....the aroma of yummy dinner filled his nostrils and his stomach growled in hunger.....he licked his  lips completely forgetting the morning incident.....manik came towards the table while folding his sleeves and nandini smirked looking at him......manik observed only one plate of biryani on table and nothing else...he went to the kitchen thinking that may be his meal was there but their was empty utensils laughing at his condition......nandini observed his actions and smiled under her breath......she took a morsel of food and closed her eyes....manik looked at her and said

Ma: what will I eat...where is my food

N: ohhh I think u forgot......two strangers dont share the food (she said making an innocent face and that's when manik realized that he did a huge mistake by teasing nandini)

Ma: dekho nandini we r mature now......I don't think so we should continue this fight anymore (in defensive mode)

N: yeah okay...Will end it after finishing my biryani (she kicked her lips and manik's mouth watered on the sight of biryani)

Ma: yaar m very tired nandini KAL continue karna ye fight Abhi lemme eat this .......

N: don't u dare even come close to this plate (dragging her plate away from manik)

Ma: achaw 1 bite plzz (the foodie inside him pleaded)

N: no (she said in attitude )

Ma: nandini spider (he said pointing towards the wall and nandini jumped away from there leaving her plate on table)

Manik grabbed the plate smirking and left from there......nandini realized it and ran behind him to get the plate...nandini immediately held her leg and sat down on floor with her face holding pained expressions......manik looked back when he realized the silence...no more shoutings....he scanned the whole room but nandini was nowhere....he proceeded back and found nandini there holding her leg whimpering.......manik immediately went towards her and said

Ma: what happened (worried)

N: I shouldn't have put too much stress on it........

Ma: m sorry it's paining.....na. hi mein bhagta na. ye sab hota.....mere ghalti hai sb (he sat beside her and started examining her leg...nandini looked at the plate...she immediately grabbed tha plate and ran in her room without even giving manik a chance to think)

Ma: nandini yr it's not fine...u cheated (he squealed behind her)

N: tit for tat Mr malhotra (she showed him her tongue)

He was sitting on the lounge watching a movie while eating some snacks....he wasn't in a mood to cook sth for dinner so he decided to rely on chips only.....he looked at nandini's room and mouthed churail just b4 turning  the volume high just to irritate her......after few mins a msg popped on his mobile screen

N: volume kam karo

Ma: phle biryani do

N: kbhi bhi nhi 🙄🙄🙄

Manik read the msg and increased the volume further.....he placed his legs on nearby table and sat in relaxing manner.....

On the other side

Nandini msgd him to lessen the volume whixh rzltd in further increase in volume....she kept calm for few minutes but failed...next thing she tried to divert herself by putting on hands free but the volume was still very high....she took 2 3 long breaths and went towards him...she forwarded the plate of biryani and asking him to reduce the volume and he happily obliged saying

Ma: as my girl wants (with a teasing smile)

N: huh Shut up.....

Next day

They were watching tv when the phone bell rang...manik picked up the call and it was mukti's phone....he started talking about his daily routine and stuff like that...after few minutes mukti said

Mu: manik m cming to India this Sunday

Ma: what u r cming (he almost shouted excitedly).... wow it's the best news I have heard today....after few more exchange of words they cut the call and manik excitedly turned towards nandini and said

Ma: mukti is cming on this Sunday (excitedly).... bht maza ane wala hai...it's been so long we haven't spend some quality time

N: mukti arhi hai???

Ma: yeah....arent u happy (he asked with a strange expressions)

N: ummmm....she will get to know about everything

Ma: what...which thing

N: about our marraige

Manik looked at her...his mouth wide open and he said

Ma: shit mene to yeh socha hi nhi

N: yeah socho Kia karna hai....we have to live in a same room again

Ma: same room noooo... m tired of sleeping on the sofa.... (he whinned)
