A pounding rain woke Asriel up from his slumber, a boom of lightning shattering the night air. Sighing to himself, Asriel rolled over and lit a candle, the flame flickering before growing to a steady flame. 'Cursed weather,' Asriel thought to himself, startled wide awake when a faint knock was heard at his door. 'Who would be out in this weather?' Asriel thought as he put on his bed robe, moving to open his house door.

When Asriel opened his house door, Asriel jumped back as a drenched figure slumped forward, apparently supporting it as the figure fell to the floor, shivering. "Help... please," the figure croaked out. Without hesitation, Asriel helped the cloaked figure up and to the fire place, which he lit with a short command. Gathering pillows and a spare quilt he had, Asriel set them beside the figure, telling it to remove its cloak. "You will catch a cold that way," Asriel explained as the figure shook its head. "P-please sir, my sister is o-outside," the figure said, struggling to get up as its hood fell.

Asriel's breath caught when stunning blue eyes met his, fire orange fur soaked as the Flareon looked at him pleadingly. "Where is she?" Asriel asked as he went to put on his cloak, fastening it as the Flareon struggled to get out of here. "She is by the tree line; she collapsed by a fallen oak," the female replied. Quickly helping her out of it, Asriel blushed heavily when he saw that the female was almost naked, only a strip of fur holding her breasts and a cloth between her legs giving her coverage. "Let me," Asriel said, helping her to his bed, covering her with a blanket before running out into the storm, gasping at the shock of the ice cold rain.

Since he knew where the Flareon was talking about, Asriel quickly found the collapsed figure; when Asriel picked her up, she barely weighed anything in his arms. Asriel prayed that he was not too late as he ran back home, using his body to shelter the freezing Pokemon. The door slammed shut behind him when he crossed the threshold, Asriel hurrying the figure to his bed, slicing the Glaceon's cloak off of her in three neat strokes, her body shivering intensely. "Is s-she going to be okay?" the Flareon asked as Asriel fetched another quilt from his closet, using it to cover the two females before he went beet red; the Glaceon was completely naked. "She will be fine, that I swear," Asriel vowed, the Flareon nodding before she fell asleep. Asriel lit three fires above his patients, making sure that they would only warm up the Pokemon, not burn them as he sat down, sighing.

Since he was wide awake, Asriel decided to brew some tea as he got up, knowing that Irsin leaves would help prevent him getting a cold himself. As he set the kettle over the fire, a thought hit Asriel. "I will need to prepare some medicine for the two; odds are high they will wake up sick," Asriel said to himself. Moving to his medicine cabinet, fetching Irsin leaves, flameroot and a bottle of Lum berry extract, the ingredients needed for the medicine.

The tea boiled as Asriel worked, chopping and mixing all three ingredients together, ending up with a bowl of fragrant liquid. Pouring the mix into six bottles, Asriel sealed them as he heard one of the Pokemon shift in his bed. Looking up, Asriel turned neon red as the flareon removed her chest piece, setting it aside before turning back to her sister, falling back asleep. Shaking his head, Asriel retrieved the tea before it started to whistle too much, quickly pouring himself a mug of the tea. Setting the tea kettle down, Asriel turned to his bed as thunder boomed again. 'Stupid weather,' Asriel thought as he sipped his tea; he might have been in Kupo most of his life, but he would never get used to the crazy weather.

When he finished his tea, Asriel retrieved his last two blankets before settling down by the fire place for the night. 'I will have to go shopping in the morning for new clothes for the two and fix a bath for them when I wake up,' Asriel thought as he lowered the fire in the hearth, letting the sound of the rain lure him back to a deep sleep.
