T H R E E: sans.
You looked behind you but you only saw nothing. When you looked back, a friendly looking, short, skeleton was standing right in front of you. You screamed a little and fell on your rear, making another loud crunching noise in the snow. The skeleton stretched his arm and said, "Here, take my hand." You grabbed the skeleton's boney hand, but you heard a loud farting noise.
"Ah, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick. It never gets old." The skeleton let out a deep chuckle. "The name's Sans. Sans the skeleton." You stuttered a little bit when you decided to introduce yourself. "I-I'm (Y/N)..." You muttered. You were still kind of freaked out.
"Nice to meet cha, (Y/N)." The skeleton said. "My brother was actually looking for humans. He wants to capture one to be part of the Royal Guard." You were a little more scared now. "Don't worry, he's a huge softie once you get to know him. Just walk under this gate thingy, he made the bars too wide for anyone to get through."
You walked under the bars with ease. "Here, hide in the trees. You hid behind the trees that surrounded the path that you walked on. You waited a few minutes, and so did Sans. Apparently his brother was gone.
"Huh, that's weird. He should probably show up by now. You can come out now."
You made your way out of the trees and back onto the path. You decided to follow Sans and made your way further into the forest. "I think I know why Paps is gone. He must be working on some puzzles."
Puzzles? You were always bad at puzzles. That's why you waited for Toriel to come back instead of walking further into the ruins.
You followed Sans through the forest. He helped you with some of the puzzles that stumped you. You were actually feeling glad you were by his side. You didn't feel scared or uncomfortable anymore.
You eventually made your way to a small, cozy town. You didn't see his brother anywhere. Sans led you to a large house that was glowing with Christmas lights. "Here's our house. If Papyrus isn't anywhere else, he must be in here."
Sans opened the door. You tried to hide behind his back, remembering what he said about his brother. Your cover was soon blown as Sans walked into the house. You walked behind him, trying your best to hide again.
"Ah, there you are, Papyrus!" Sans was now in the kitchen, and you saw a tall skeleton cooking something. You assumed this was his brother, so you hid behind the TV. The tall skeleton looked behind him. "SANS! WHERE WERE YOU? I WAS REALLY WORRIED!" Papyrus shouted.
"I was on my watch duty like you wanted." Sans replied. You quivered a little bit. Papyrus was loud. Really loud.
"DID YOU FIND ANYTHING?" Papyrus responded, looking Sans straight in the eye socket. Sans seemed nervous all of a sudden. "Uhh, no, unfortunately." He glanced over at your hiding spot for a split second. "But I think you should check behind the TV."
It suddenly felt like your heart stopped beating. Papyrus approached your hiding spot and finally found you.
"OH- OH MY GOD! IS THAT A HUMAN?!" Papyrus shouted. Sans' grin widened a little more. "Yeah, it is, Paps." Sans replied. Papyrus grabbed you by the arm and shouted. "I-I HAVE TO CAPTURE YOU! IT'S FOR MY DREAM TO-" Sans walked over to Papyrus and interrupted him. "Or you could stay here with us." Papyrus glanced over at Sans and grimaced. "SANS!" Papyrus was even louder this time. "What? (Y/N)'s my friend now. She's really nice." Blue soon showed up on his cheekbones.
Papyrus sighed and looked back at you. "FINE. BUT IF YOU MISBEHAVE, YOU GO IN THE CAGE!" Papyrus walked up the stairs. You came out of your hiding spot. Sans was following Papyrus, but he noticed you, looked back, and winked, grin widening once again.
