Romance

"How about a romance?"

"Sounds great to me!"

Kayla then started tapping some buttons, with some 'beep boop' noises coming out of her randomly for literally no reason. She then let out a sound of victory upon the tickets printing out. She was admittedly adorable when ever she let her more childish side out.

Kayla was quite strange actual whenever it came to her personality, she was fairly introverted, but not necessarily shy. She can socialize fairly well and could even be called a social butterfly, but at the same time the girl would rather not. Kayla could also get irritated and agitated fairly easily. You could even call her a tsundere even.

WAIT A MINUTE! She is basically Natsuki from Doki Doki! She's super tsundere and stuff but when you break through her she's super childish and has a love for everything and anything cute! She's also small, like Natsuki! I have broke you down Kayla, little to your knowledge.

What was I just thinking-

Eh, doesn't matter. What matters is the line we were in for that popcorn and soda! She got us a medium popcorn and each of us a drink, because ew, indirect kissing. She walked over to where you got napkins and stuff, with me picking up the napkins and straws. I looked over and just saw Kayla putting butter on the popcorn, a bit more than people usually do. She noticed me looking and went into her more kawaii voice.

"Whaaat~? It isn't true popcorn without butter!"

Can't argue with that logic.

We went over to the guy that takes our tickets and handed them over, before walking into the somewhat dimly darkened hallways with some signs advertising random movies. Kayla stopped in front of one, letting a faint smile come onto her face. I walked over to what she was looking at, and asked her a question.

"Do you want to see that movie when it comes out?"

"Duh! Of course I want to see it! Pikachu in his fluffy adorableness, and Ryan Reynolds voice!? Who wouldn't?"

Her smile just like that disappeared as we went back to the walking towards the designated theater. We walked into the dark room where some ads were playing and finally found our designated seats, thankfully this theater had reclining seats! Woah! We put down our drinks in the cup holders before plopping down on the leather goodness.

"Hey Kayla?"

She let out a hum, her eyes contently closed as she was slightly reclined.

"You like pokemon, right?"

"Yepperdo."

"So which one are you most like?"

She seemed to think about her decision before straightening up and gave me her answer.

"Well, I'm like Eevee! I'm cute (I think), and I bite and stuff when you first meet me but then I'm a total sweetheart, I'm super cuddly, I'm smol, and I can adapt fairly well to my environments. Also Eevee totally isn't my favorite, pshh, whatchu talkin about?"

I let out a slight laugh at this, before asking what pokemon I was. This time she didn't even think over her response.

"You're Eevee of course! Because you're adorable! And don't you say that you're a sack of potatoes, and that they are not adorable, because they are extremely adorable! Trash and trashcans are cute and important too! Trash can be recycling, and there's so many things you can make into, also you can plant stuff in trash, bringing forth new life! Trashcans are too! At Disney World they have them play sounds, plus trash cans hold things that could hold so many possible abilities, if trash is so important and adorable, then imagine how more important the thing is holding it! There's beauty in everything y/n, sometimes you just have to take a break and look for those things, you may be surprised at what you find."

Wow, that was actually really nice, along with deep. But my thoughts were soon interrupted by the intro starting, signalling the movie was starting along with the lights dimming even more.

~|~

As we were exiting the theater, Kayla basically had a look on her face saying that she badly wanted to slam her head against something, which she did during the movie. Don't blame the girl either, it was less than satisfactory.

Once we were finally in the sweet, sweet outdoors she said out loud,

"What. Was. That. Abomination."

I let out a sigh, and shook my head.

"I don't know, Kayla, I don't know."

Sadly our movie was sadly less than enjoyable, with it being basically all of the high school cliches smashed together with bad acting. Yep, it was that bad. It was your typical run of the mill romance book you find on the market now that does less than actually do good. Ah, my eyes, my sweet eyes that have been tortured. I am sorry.

"Y/n, I'm so sorries for that movie. If I knew it was that bad, I would have never taken you to see it. I checked the rotten tomatoes, and it did pretty well on their, but it's obviously just a bunch of fangirls who still like the movies for, dare I say it-?"

She shivered a bit for finishing the sentence.

"Twilight?"

She ducked, and pulled my down along with her, making me question if something flew over our heads. But the next second later she bobbed up like nothing happened, have me stand up properly as well before she just started walking as if nothing happened.

"Ugh, Kayla, why did you just duck down like that?"

"Oh, that? I ducked because I was worried that a random fangirl would jump out of the bushes yelling out, 'TEAM EDWARD!' then another would jump out yelling, 'TEAM JACOB!' (which is obviously the best out of the two because he doesn't put the main character in an abusive relationship, yes I can say this because I have read the books which are actually beautifully written, but the romance side is not as good.) Then a whole war would start all over again where we would be caught in the middle of a war that is pointless because obviously Team Leo is the best team out there."

I blinked my eyes, trying to take in all of that information that spewed out of the girl's mouth. Sometimes it's easy for me to forget that she's actually fairly smart. Running her words over my head once again, I nodded. Yep, checks out.

She stopped in her tracks though as she asked me another question about how I want to proceed this date.

"So, we have two options, do you want to go to the park, or perhaps my house?"
