Don't Attack
"Don't take them off. I don't think we're really in much of a position to attack, it will probably just make our situation worse."
She pulled her head away from the restraints and gave me a quick smile.
"A pacifist, huh? I like that. Someone's been playing their Undertale/Detroit: Become Human."
I let out a little gasp and would have put a hand over my heart, faking injury, if it wasn't for the fact of my hands being tied up.
"How dare you assume something that is completely and totally accurate!?"
She let out a pretty short laugh at this. Her laugh always sounded a bit vague for some reason, but I could also tell by her eyes and mouth that she wasn't faking it.
But her laughter stopped upon hearing the van stop, making us both fall onto our sides. We heard the van door slide open, and we felt some people pull us up from our backs, and soon our eyes were covered by some sort of black fabric, obscuring everything from our sight. We were blindfolded.
I felt them put us over their shoulders, as they started to walk. I heard the clicking of a door opening, then shutting. I could hear my own ragged breaths. I was scared. Who wouldn't? After all I was just kidnapped during a date that was going amazingly well.
Worse. Valentine's. Day. Ever.
I then felt myself be set down on a cushioned surface, and I immediately started to shake around some. I could hear the pattering of feet all across the room, in ever which way and direction, and soon I could feel the cold hands on the back of my head, untying the ribbon that obstructed my vision.
Ever but surely, light began to sink more and more through the fabric, letting me be able to make some faint outlines of a considerable amount of people. After a short amount of time that just seemed agonizingly too long, the blindfold was finally fully off.
Instead of seeing a ware house or a crime scene, I was met with a pleasant surprise. The surprise being, a party. Kayla was standing in front of me along with Chris, Zac, Bryan, Zoe, and all other book characters. They were all here! Even Waluigi! He wasn't in a book though.. Eh, who cares!
At the same time they all said to me, "Thank you! Congratulations!"
Then they started to walk around, getting some food and drinks, playing with party poppers, all sorts of festivities. I thankfully could get up, since they took off my restraints fairly quickly, but as soon as I was up, I almost fell down before I got my footing again. The reason why I almost fell down was being hit by another force.
Kayla was hugging me. Her head was leaning somewhat on my chest as her arms were wrapped around me because she is considerably short for her age. I was not quite certain what to do for a moment, before I wrapped my hands around her as well. I could feel drops of liquid hitting my dress/shirt.
"Thank you."
"What?"
"Thank you, Y/n."
She gripped her arms around me even more and looked into my eyes. I could see her watery eyes and a bit of make up going down her face because of her tears.
"Thank you for all that you've done for me."
"Saving you from the egos was nothing, if anything you saved me."
"No, no, no. Not that. I'm talking about reading my stories. For getting Phantom to hit 50k views, and Could You Delete Me for getting almost 10k views. Just, thank you for sticking through this journey of my words as my writing slowly but surely became better. Just, thank you for being there when no one else was. Thank you for flooding up my notifications and my email inbox. Just, gracias."
She finally stepped away from me, to wipe away the tears that were still dripping from her amber eyes. She looked down at her hands to see a bit of make up stains on them. She pulled out a tissue from seemingly midair and started dabbing it on her cheeks, cleaning herself up.
"Heh, I probably look like a mess right now. I usually do whenever I cry. At least I'm a quiet crier."
But extremely quickly, her some what frown soon turned into a wide grin.
"Hey, come on! We got a made from scratch chocolate cake that I made myself waiting. And no, it isn't poisoned this time. Now come on, before they eat it all up, because"
She leaned into and looked dead into my eyes with the most serious look I have ever seen on her. Kayla then whispered into my ear,
"Because they will."
And just like that she was back to her cheerful self as we walked towards the cake.
"But seriously y/n, you have no idea how much you've changed my life. No matter if you're Scyobi, Maddie, TheToxicTrio, and so many others. I love each of you. Except for that person who copied Phantom. No soup for you!
Also special thanks to QueenDominion because of how cryptic I was with her. Like seriously. Sorry girl.
And even more love goes to xReindeerGamesx because of her being one of my best friends since the beginning. Also to Janea, you know who you are. ;)"
Did she just put a winky face into verbal form? Is that possible? She then got a distant look in her eyes, before shaking her head.
"What was I talking about- Eh, probably nothing."
She then got two plates each having a cake slice and a fork on them. She handed me one of the plates.
"Well, good bye Y/n. But don't be so sad, there's lots more endings to this. That's why it took me so long to get this special up, also sorry about that. But I hope that this will be worth the wait! This isn't where the story ends. I'll see ya in the next run. Adios!"
[Surprise Ending. Ending 1/9.]
