I walked into the nice restaurant and poked my head around a few corners before I found her. I let out a breath of relief upon finding that she was indeed in the restaurant and was sitting at a booth. I found it was adorable how she just munched a bit on the piece of roll in her hand. She looked a bit worried, probably wondering if I was even going to come.

I walked over to her and sat down across from her. Her head immediately perked up and a smile appeared on her face and her eyes held a glint of happiness in them. She was wearing a white dress with different shades of light and dark blue flowers. On her feet she was wearing some white wedges and she had her bronze glasses on, making her amber eyes stand out even more than they already were. Her hair was a chestnut and chocolate like brown color that had nice smooth waves in them and the locks were pushed mostly to one side, cascading nicely down one shoulder. It was nice to see her hair down, since most of the time it was just in a ponytail.

Her attire made me feel slightly under dressed, but at the same time she radiated regalness but still managed to pull it off as a type of business casual. She was somewhat intimidating but she also just made me feel calm and happy. She made me feel at home.

"Hey y/n! For a sec there I thought you weren't going to come." I let out a little laugh as I said, "I was thinking the same thing too when I couldn't find you!" We both let out a small laugh but it was soon interrupted by a waiter asking for what we would like to drink. Kayla ordered a sweet tea while I ordered [insert favorite drink here]. The waiter went away to get our drinks and soon returned with them. Kayla took a sip from her straw and I finally noticed the makeup she was wearing. She was just wearing eye shadow and it was just natural-ish but it looked really good. Like, James Charles would be proud.

After taking a sip of her drink she gestured a hand at the menus, "Well, we should probably decide what we should eat before we start talking and totally forget about food." I agreed and we looked at our menus for a bit before deciding what to get.

I was starting to feel a bit awkward and Kayla seemed to notice this, so she tried to lighten the mood. She put an arm over the table and bent it so she could rest her head on it. She then said in a joking tone, "So, heard about Pluto? That's messed up, right?" I let out a laugh at this and the tension in the air immediately disappeared as it usually does whenever she lets some words come out of her tongue. "Do you use that pick up line on everyone?" She then popped her lips at the end of her next sentence, "Maybe~" We both smiled a bit at this before moving on to random topics. We talked about where we would like to visit to video game lore and really everything in between. It was amazing how much she could make a person feel better. She was super smart as well, which paired quite nicely with her looks and rocking body.

"Any who, thanks for coming to this with me. I was really worried that you wouldn't even want to associate with me after you escaped from the egos. Since I was kinda the one who started it all..."

I shook my head, "No, I don't blame you at all Kayla. It isn't your fault if your creations became rogue without you even knowing. And besides, of course I would come! You are really easy to talk to plus it's not exactly like I have anything better to do on Valentine's Day." She gave me a soft smile upon hearing this, relieved that I didn't blame her at all for all of the things that had happened. Our food came and we ate in silence and after we finished we started conversing again. I was having an amazing time, especially since my Valentine's Days tend to be extremely lonesome. Kayla then spoke up, "This is definitely the best Valentine's Day I have ever had. So, how about some desert?"
