  "Hey, Acornfeather can I tell you something"? Dawnbreak needed to tell him something, it was important. " Sure what is it"? Acornfeather replied.

"Ummm............. I'm expecting kits, your kits to be exact" Dawnbreak told him.

" That's so wonderful. How long have you known"? He asked.

"About a moon" she replied, looking at her belly starting to swell with kits. "That's wonderful I'm going to be a father"! Acornfeather meowed prancing around the clearing. "Does Nightsky and Birdflight know, does Flamefur know as well does....."

"STOP JUST STOP" Dawnbreak interrupted " THIS IS WHY I WAS KEEPING THIS FROM YOU. Sorry sometimes I let my temper get the best of me"

"Its OK Dawnbreak I know we all can let our temper get the best of us. But no mater what you say I will always love you" Dawnbreak nodded and turned and padded toward the camp with Acornfeather following close behind her.

  When they gat back to camp Acornfeather went to get Flamefur while she went to get Graymoon. They met in the training hollow. "What is it Lightstar is counting on me to make the patrols for tomorrow" Graymoon said impatiently.

"Me and Acornfeather need to tell you both something WE ARE EXPECTING KITS"! Dawnbreak exclaimed.

" What does that mean I'm going to be a Grandfather "? Graymoon asked. Acornfeather nodded. " That means I'm going to be a uncle" Flamefur didn't sound enthused about the idea. But he would have to live with it.
