Dawnpaw padded into camp after Ashflight, after a long day of battle training with Acornpaw and Cloudstorm. She did so well that Ashflight told her that she could have first pick from the fresh kill pile.

  When she went over to the pile Flamekit came running over being chased by Bluekit. "You can't catch me" Flamekit teased.

"No fair your bigger than me" Bluekit complained. Then Flamekit spotted Dawnpaw, he came running over to her "Hi Dawnpaw" Flamekit exclaimed with Bluekit coming up behind him. She looked over as Birdpaw coming out of the medicine cat's den, she was Nightsky's appreciate. "Birdpaw do you want to share a mouse with me?" Dawnpaw asked.

"Sure, I haven't eaten since sun-high" Birdpaw replied. They sat down and ate in silence.
