When we returned to work, we found scheduling conflicts were abound and Candice and I weren't able to make our main roster debuts until the May 15 edition of Smackdown live from Greenville,  South Carolina. Hunter met us at the hotel and told us who we would be facing tonight. I was to face King Corbin in a Falls Count Anywhere match and Candice was to face Bayley but the Smackdown Women's Champion came down with a mysterious malady and threw her best friend The Legit Boss to the 'Pint Sized Pixie'.
When we started laughing Hunter asked us why and we explained that we had installed mats in our gym and I taught Candice a few tricks of mine that was guaranteed to make her the most feared woman on Smackdown's roster. But I did warn Hunter that if Bayley interfered at any time. Candice would have a shot at the Smackdown Women's Championship at No Mercy. He agreed and we headed to the hotel room and settled in and I was ecstatic to be on the main roster with my girl Candice. We got ready and grabbed our arena bags and headed to the arena.

When we arrived at the arena, we were met by Otis, Tucker, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Dolph Ziggler and a few others. We headed to our locker room where a couple of packages from Mikaze were waiting for us. We opened them and found for me, dark red jeans, shirt, boots with my Ringnames initials on the side. I looked back into the box and found a dark red leather jacket the same style I gave Candice at Takeover: Tampa. I looked at her and she grinned. "Thought you might need something like that so we'd be a matching couple." She smiled as she laid out her new entrance and ring attire.
"Thank you, Candy." I smiled. "What did my girl get from Mikaze. Huh?"
I still have the jacket you gave me at Takeover: Tampa. I also have a ruby red top, shorts, and red and black boots. He even, ordered me a pair of dark rose red shades." She grinned as she put them on.
"Wow, careful heartbreaker. You better not let Natalya see you with those or she'll think you stole them out of her Uncle Bret's house." She chuckled as I kissed her. "You look gorgeous, darling. As always." She hugged me and kissed my cheek before we got ready for our matches.
Candice's was first. And I came out with her to even the odds since we both knew Bayley was going to interfere at some point and Candice and I were going to get the better end of it if she did.

Sasha went out to the ring and did the usual gas that she was going to win. As Candice and I headed to the gorilla. I leaned in and kissed her cheek and said, "If Bayley thinks she can get out of her match and not face the consequences. She's sorely mistaken isn't she?" I grinned as Candice did as well. "I know we're the new kids on the brand. But some things I've noticed need to change. Like Champions who all of a sudden come down with a life threatening illness when their title isn't even on the line for the match and have to be replaced. Luckily for us the replacement is the Champs best friend."
"What did you have in mind babe?" Candice asked.
I looked around and when I saw no one around. "I want you to punish Banks with the moves I taught you and some of your own. We're gonna force 'Bayley Dos Straps' what a stupid name." I chucked as did Candice. "To interfere in the match. If she wants to sacrifice her friend to keep herself from being in a match. Fine. Then she can eat the consequences." I smiled as I continued, "I want you to have fun my Little Poison Pixie." She smiled as she kissed me and we headed out to her music.

I grinned as I took her jacket from her and held it as the match began. And Candice tore into Banks as I cheered from her corner and the beatings of Banks continued, Candice used what I taught her to a dangerous effect. She did a side headlock takedown and started punching Banks. When the ref pulled her off and checked on Sasha. Candice looked to me and I subtly nodded.

25 minutes later, Candice tossed a worn out Banks into the ropes and hit a spinning power slam,  swung her right leg over Banks' stomach and started pummeling the Legit Boss.
Then got off her and walked over to the corner near Bayley and waited for Banks to get to her feet. When she did Candice speared her and just started punching Sasha's ribs. I cheered her on as I could tell Candice was really enjoying herself, I also noticed Bayley getting in the ring and waited for Candice to stop and turn. When Candice was pulled off by the ref Bayley leveled her with the Women's Championship. But unfortunately for her, the ref saw her and called for the bell costing her friend the match. I slid into the ring and checked on Candice. Then Hunter came out and delivered the bad news to Bayley.
"Bayley, you left me no choice since you interfered in the match than to give Candice LeRae a shot at the Smackdown Women's Championship at No Mercy." When Bayley tried to protest Hunter told her, "You suddenly felt ill this morning and needed a replacement and Daniel and Candice knew you would interfere since your replacement was Sasha Banks. So I accepted the condition that if you interfered in the match that was originally yours. Candice would get a shot at the Smackdown Women's Championship. You put yourself in this position Bayley. And you can get yourself out of it." Hunter went backstage as Candice and I made our way to the back, we headed to the trainers office and Candice got checked out and when nothing wrong was found except for a possible headache tomorrow. We left the trainers office and watched as Sasha and Bayley were arguing as they headed to the trainers and we laughed as we went to catering. Alexa, Lacey and a few others, asking Candice if she was okay to which she smiled and told them she was fine.

When my match came up, I kissed Candice and headed to the gorilla. I saw on the monitor near the gorilla that Corbin was already in the ring and was talking trash as if he had already won the match.
When I came down to the ring he was still acting like hot shit and like he already won the match.  But when the bell rang I tore into his egotistical ass and just brutalized him with tosses and suplexes. I even tossed him out of the ring and when Corbin got up, I ran to the ropes near him and the ropes on the opposite side and leapt over the ropes for a tope con hilo which knocked him down. We fought all over the arena and soon found ourselves in one of the VIP boxes and when he got up, I speared him through the glass window and onto the techs A/V table.
The crowd was in absolute shock and soon 'holy shit' chants started. I soon draped my arm over Corbin and got the win.
I was helped to the back by Candice and referee's.

When we made it to the back, Candice said, "I got him from here guys, Thanks." She helped me to the trainers office and I got checked out and when he found nothing wrong or broken, Candice and I headed to our locker room. Changed and went to our hotel room.

When we got to the hotel, "You scared me with that spear through the VIP box window and through the techs A/V table." She sighed and smiled. "I just, I know that you'll be careful, just please. Please for me, be extra careful." She pouted.
"I'll try." I smiled.
"I'll take it." She giggled and grinned. She and I walked in and just ordered pizza. Once it arrived, and we ate a couple slices. Threw our paper plates in the trash. And put the leftover slices in the mini fridge. We headed to bed. We changed into our sleepwear and slid into bed.
I reached over behind me and turned off the lamp. Making it dark and she cuddled closer to me her back to my  chest as I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight to my chest. I kissed the top of her head as I said, "I love you, Candy sweetie."
"Love you more, my Daredevil." She turned her head and kissed me. "Goodnight, baby."
"Goodnight, sweetie." I said as we fell asleep.

The next morning,  Candice and I were woken up by a text from Hunter. 'Important meeting in hotel office suites. Please, report to WWE's temporary office.'

Candice and I got up and dressed and headed down to the hotels office of WWE for the meeting.

As soon as Candice and I walked through the door, Hunter started the meeting."Okay folks, due to the rising number of Carona Virus cases in this country and to keep fans and talent safe and healthy. We are going to be moving all events to the Performance Center until further notice. Now to prevent the spread, we are going to test everyone and we'll film Raw on Monday and Smackdown on Friday. The Performance Center will be cleaned and sanitized every day at least the ones between tapings. So I'd like all of you to take this weekend to gather a few things from home, and please arrange for a place to stay during filming. More information will be forth coming as we evaluate our options and decide how to proceed." He sat down and we all left the room and we headed to our hotel room and got ready to go home.

We flew home. Candice and I were thankful that we could fly home grab a few things and head back to Orlando. But we had to stay at my old apartment which had been renovated and redecorated. The kitchen was bigger, as were the bedrooms. The master bedroom was a bit bigger than the guest room, even the bathroom was redone and expanded. When the landlord led us into it. He told us that he always planned on making it a penthouse and he would charge us for less than what I was paying in rent as I had been a spectacular tenant before I moved out. Candice and I thanked him and he gave us the keys to the place and left.
"Why do you think he gave us a deal on the rent baby?" Candice asked.
I looked at her and honestly said, "I don't really know sweetie. Maybe he thinks that any money is good money right now." I wrapped my right arm around her shoulders. "But for now. Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth."
"Your right." She smiled as she and I looked around the remodeled place.

Over the next few weeks we went to the Performance Center to film episodes of Raw and Smackdown but Candice and I went to the Smackdown tapings and filmed an episode of Smackdown that Friday and this practically became the norm by the second week but to cut down even further on too many people being in the Performance Center. They started a filming schedule of Raw would film one week a pair of episodes and Smackdown would do the other week and film a pair of episodes and NXT would film on Wednesday's.

The go home show before No Mercy that Sunday as a good preview as was Raw as to what the fans which for now was some students of the PC and a couple of fans. And there was plexiglas like you would see at a hockey game.
Candice did a promo for her Smackdown Women's Championship match against Bayley at No Mercy.
"I'm just a little bit tired of Bayley Dos Straps or whatever she calls herself. Coming out here week after week telling us what a great Champion she is. And to be honest I'm tired of her smug ass. She may say she's a great Champion. But. No great Champions fakes being sick just to get out of a match. I proved that I deserve this match at No Mercy. By beating up her bestie Sasha Banks. When will she learn that no one really cares about what she thinks or believes should happen. I talked to Hunter and he said that if Sasha Banks gets involved in the match at any time. Bayley will lose the Smackdown Women's Championship and as for me. I will be crowned the New Smackdown Women's Champion." Candice grinned. "So Bayley. I would get in all the extra training you can. Because come No Mercy you may walk in with the belt, but you will not walk out with it. Unless your going to be too afraid to break a nail and not show up. I also talked with Stephanie has told me that if you don't show up Bayley. You will be stripped of the Smackdown Women's Championship and a tournament to decide a new champion will be held. So it's show up and defend your title or not show up and be stripped of it." She dropped the mic and smirked as she headed to the back. I met her at the gorilla and smiled as she came through the curtain.
"You were great Candy sweetie." I smiled as I kissed her.
"Thank you baby." We headed to our locker room and just watched a few matches take place and then it was my promo for my match against King Corbin who didn't like the fact that he lost a match to a NXT call up.

"King Corbin has been heating up social media. Demanding a rematch in his eyes is a splotch on his perfect record." I looked at the canvas then at the camera. Corbin. You haven't won a match in close to a month or so. And somehow I ruined a perfect record. Huh. Are you high? Taking some happy pills that nobody knows about? Cause that would explain that statement. At No Mercy Corbin. You and me are to face each other in a street fight. That's right up my alley so I'd say to you. In this Street Fight. You will be given no quarter, no pity and most of all. And I do mean most of all. You will be shown. No Mercy. "
I dropped the mic and headed backstage to Candice. As soon as we were done, we headed to our Orlando home.

NO MERCY June 14, 2020.
The events look was a testament to the events name. The Titantron was outlined in blades and spikes. So were the minitrons. The LED ring apron had the No Mercy name on it. The 'No' was done completely with long sharpened spikes. Like you'd find on some leather jackets. The 'Mercy' was fashioned out of blades like swords, knives, etc.
So far every match so far has been either really good or really bad. The majority being mostly  good. But when it came time for Candice's match against Bayley for the Smackdown Women's Championship. I wasn't allowed at ringside and it didn't bother me as neither was Banks in Bayley's corner. As Bayley was waiting for Candice. Before Candice headed to the ring, I kissed her for luck and she smiled as she said, "Next time you see me. I'll have Championship gold around my waist."
"Easy sweetie, you still need to actually win the match first." I chuckled and grinned.
"I know. I love you,Dan." She kissed me and hugged me.
"Love you more, Candy sweetie." I said making her smile. She headed out to the ring and stepped through the ropes. Took off her shades, and jacket.  When the bell rang and the match started. Candice and Bayley went at each other and eventually Bayley was in control.   Over the course of the match they traded control of the match.

35 minutes into the match, as Bayley started to grow tired. Candice found a whole new gear and started wiping the floor with Bayley. Bayley tossed her into the ropes and tried for a clothesline only for it to be reversed into a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Candice got to her feet first and performed a lionsault on Bayley and as Bayley was still on the mat. Candice pulled her up to her feet and performed an Old School DDT then got right next to Bayley's upper body and slid one of Bayley's arms over her shoulder and wrapped her hands around Bayley's neck and wrenched real hard. Bayley tried to move toward the ropes but the more she did the more Candice would wrench on the side of her face and cause even more pain. Bayley soon tapped and Candice was now the Smackdown Women's Champion. She celebrated a bit and held up her new title and soon made her way to the back. I was in the gorilla as she came through the curtain. As was Kayla Braxton. "Candice LeRae. You won your first title at your first main roster big event, No Mercy. How does it feel?"
"Honestly, it's been a long time coming and with my training partner here and his support I don't think I could have done it without him." She said.
'Yes she could have.' I said as Candice smiled.
"Well congratulations on your victory. And we'll be seeing you later tonight in your Street Fight with Corbin." Kayla said.

I nodded as I escorted Candice to our locker room.

When we got to our locker room, Candice was smiling so much as she held the Smackdown Women's Championship tight. And I couldn't help but smile as she looked so happy with her new title.
"I'm so proud of you Candice." I told her and she kissed me before I sat down and she sat on my lap.

When my match came up Candice and I headed to the gorilla as we saw Corbin saying he was cheated by me as he didn't know he was going to face me in my main roster debut. But he was going to get his 'revenge' tonight. Boy did I have news for him. When I reached the gorilla with Candice, she kissed me and said, "Good luck baby. I know you'll win." She kissed me again and grinned. "And if you do. I'll have a surprise for you when we get home."
"Can't wait." I grinned as my music hit, I kissed her and headed down to the ring.  Corbin ran at me on the stage and tackled me and pummeled me.

45 minutes into the match, we fought all over the Performance Center and had found ourselves outside in the parking lot. I was pulling and punching Corbin onto his back as he was on a cars roof and with one last punch knocked him out albeit temporarily. I scaled a ladder got on top of the truck that it was leaning against. And from the truck did a tope con hilo that drove Corbin into the cars roof, and me laying on top of him for the three count. Candice ran up to me as Drew and Braun pulled me off of the car roof.
"They weren't kidding when they called you 'The Man Without Fear', my hats off to ya mate." Drew said in his thick Scottish accent.
"Yeah that match was nuts bro. Absolutely insane." Braun grinned.
"Thank you. Now if you'll excuse me gentlemen. I'm sure I have some explaining to do with my girl." Candice smiled and hugged me.
"I know I should be furious about what you did. But your still in one piece. And I want to take my Daredevil home and wear him out." She grinned as we headed to the trainers office to get checked out and when nothing was found broken or strained, Candice and I went to our locker room, changed and headed home.

Once we came through the door. I shut the door and we ran upstairs to our room she draped her new title on the back of the chair closest to the bed and we stripped each other of all clothing and got right into it and had a four hour round which when it was over found us cuddled close together and holding each other tight. I smiled as I kissed Candice's forehead and drifted off to sleep with her in my arms.
