The next morning, Jin woke up in his own room, feeling a slight soreness in his muscles. Yawning, he stretched his arms above his head before swinging his legs out of bed.

Heading to the bathroom, he stripped off his clothes, revealing the evidence of yesterday's game.

Hickeys adorned his neck, which were the reminders of Yoongi's rough kisses, and a bite mark at the corner of his lips. An unpleasant throb pulsed through his cock, which was remained untouched because of what happened yesterday.

Stepping into the shower, his thoughts went to the challenge he had planned to discuss with Yoongi today.

His mind then drifted back to the intense game of truth or dare from the previous night, replaying each moment with Yoongi.

He remembered the sensation of Yoongi's lips pressed against his own, the roughness of their kisses leaving him breathless.

Yoongi's touch was demanding and the memory of the mafia trailing kisses down his neck and across his belly sent shivers down Jin's spine once again.

But just as things were escalating at that moment, Jin's phone rang. The call was abouts the start of his next mission, pulling him back to the reality of his duties as a detective.

As the game came to an abrupt end, Yoongi pulled away. With a teasing bite to the corner of Jin's lip, he smirked, leaving the elder to sigh in frustration at the interruption that had cut short their electrifying game.

At present, Jin came out of the shower, feeling refreshed. With a sigh, he quickly dressed and made his way to the living room, where he found Yoongi engrossed in a phone call and tapping away on his laptop, his vibrant silver-blue hair catching the light, even though the color seemed like it had started to fade.

Jin stood there for a moment, observing Yoongi's focused eyes, admiring the way he commanded the room without even realizing it.

Clearing his throat to let his presence known, he stepped into the room, catching the younger's attention. Their eyes met briefly before Yoongi returned to his conversation, his face unreadable as he continued to multitask.

Chuckling softly at his straight ignorance, Jin made his way over to where Yoongi sat. As he settled in beside him, the elder couldn't resist shooting him a playful smirk, which earned him a bombastic side-eye from the focused man.

Soon, the younger finished his call, closing his laptop with satisfaction of finally able to finish all his work. Jin asked casually, "What were you working on?"

Yoongi's response was curt. "None of your business," he said, his tone sharp.

Jin chuckled softly at his sharp response before focusing on a more casual topic. "Did you eat breakfast?"

Yoongi's replied with sarcasm. "Why do you care?" he shot back with irritation. "Are you going to personally feed me now if I say I haven't eaten anything?" He said with a huff of annoyance as he returned his attention to his phone, fingers tapping away at the screen.

Jin let out a silent laugh as the real Yoongi is now back as he was completely different during their previous game.

He then turned his eyes to the butler, Chris who was standing there for a while now and he nodded subtly, confirming that Yoongi had indeed eaten. Jin did a nod of his own, then rose from his seat, shifting to the opposite sofa, where he settled in comfortably, facing Yoongi.

He cleared his throat, "Are you ready to discuss our challenge?" he asked, immediately getting Yoongi's full attention. The younger swiftly set aside his phone, turning his focus entirely towards Jin and asked, "What is it about?"

Jin snapped his fingers and Chris approached him with a file in hand. He accepted it with a nod, then turned his gaze back to Yoongi. "This," he began, tapping the file, "is my new mission."

His voice took on a serious tone as he started to explain in detail. "There's a college situated in a haunted village, known to only a handful of residents. Despite the eerie surroundings, this college boasts prestige and offers free enrollment to academically gifted students from underprivileged backgrounds. However, over the past year, a disturbing trend has occured - several students have gone missing without even a single trace."

He paused for a moment. "What's even more suspicious is the response, or lack of the response, from the families of these missing students. For an entire year, no parents reported their children missing to the authorities. It wasn't until recently, when some friends of the missing students finally came forward, that the cases were brought to light."

"When the police investigated, the college officials claimed ignorance, insisting they knew nothing about their disappearances. Strangely, the parents of the missing students said that their children's fates went to supernatural forces or Satan killing them for their own good, considering the village is named as the haunted village, and they refused to seek justice or closure. It's a baffling and unsettling situation."

"There are no other detectives available for this case. They need someone to solve it quickly, and that's where I come in."

Yoongi's brows furrowed in confusion as he questioned. "So what? Why are you telling me all of this?"

He leaned back, eyeing Jin with suspicion, waiting for an explanation about why he chose to share such a haunting case with him.

Jin's gaze hardened as he explained, "This case requires someone with a unique set of skills. Someone who has connections to the underworld, who knows all kinds of illegal processes, who can go through the shadows and protect themselves in dangerous situations. I need someone with keen instincts, sharp eyes, quick senses, and the ability to handle various weapons with precision. Someone who can think on their feet and solve complex problems and can stand on their own."

He locked eyes with Yoongi. "You possess all of these qualities, Yoongi. And with no other detectives available to assist me, I need someone like you to crack this case."

Jin smirked as he revealed the true nature of their conversation. "Consider this the challenge. If you successfully help me solve this tricky case, I'll release you from your status as a sub. I'll ensure the government marks you as a dom, free to live your life as you please."

His words hung in the air. Yoongi's eyes narrowed as he processed the proposal. "What's in it for you, then? It feels like I have all the chances to win, and it doesn't seem fair. What do you stand to gain from this?" He asked, suspicious about Jin's true motives.

But Jin leaned back in his seat casually. "All I need is to solve this problem," he replied calmly. "And I must admit, having an interesting partner to work with adds a certain appeal to the task at hand. Isn't it intriguing to delve into the mysteries of this case together?"

"As for what I gain, it's the intrigue and challenge of completing this puzzle. Sometimes, that's enough. And I think you already know that I love interesting things."

Yoongi raised his eyebrows skeptically, still not entirely convinced of Jin's intentions. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Jin had other ulterior motives.

But also, his offer gave him a tempting opportunity to prove himself and potentially get his freedom back from being a sub.

Jin waited for his response, his hand extended in a gesture of agreement to seal the deal. "Do you accept the challenge, Min Yoongi?"

After a moment of hesitation, Yoongi let out a resigned sigh. With a heavy exhale, he reached out and shook Jin's hand, accepting the challenge set before him.
