✧30. Ink And Intimacy : A Subtle Confession✧
Since today's such an important day for me, I have decided to update!

In Yoongi's room, they both lay on the bed, facing away from eachother.
Jin appeared to be calm, while Yoongi's face was a faint reddish hue.
The elder then turned towards him and noticed his heavy breathing. "Are you really alright, Yoongi?"
Yoongi hesitated for a moment, sighing as he said, "I...I don't know why, but my heart is still racing..."
"May be it's just the adrenaline from earlier," Jin said gently. "You were quite scared back there. It's natural for your body to take some time to calm down."
Yoongi nodded slightly. "Yeah, maybe you're right," he murmured, his voice soft.
"Is there anything I can do to help? Do you need me to call a doctor or something?" Jin asked as he sat up.
Yoongi turned to face him, his eyes full of uncertainty. "I don't know," he admitted softly. "And I'm not sure if that's a good idea."
"Is it because you're not comfortable sharing?"
Yoongi hesitated for a moment before nodding slightly. "Yeah," he admitted quietly, avoiding his gaze. "I'm still not used to it, I guess."
Jin nodded understandingly. "Hey, that's alright. It's okay if you're not ready."
He then got out of bed and walked over to Yoongi's desk. He rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a small notebook along with some pens. "How about we try something different?" he suggested, returning to the bed. "Sometimes putting your thoughts on paper can help clear your head."
Yoongi snuggled closer to his pillow, feeling a bit hesitant. "How?" he asked, his voice muffled.
Jin suggested, "Why don't we both write about each other? Like what we both like, what we hate, what we're afraid of, something like that."
Yoongi nodded at that, then settled on his stomach on the bed, propping himself up with his elbows. Jin handed him a sheet of paper, along with a pad and a pen while he sat down beside him. "Let's write down everything," he said, looking at him. "Then, finally, we will read out our answers to see what we've written."
"Alright."
"Let's start by writing what we both like. Like foods and other stuff."
They both then began. Once the younger finished, Jin suggested they write about things they hate next.
Yoongi nodded again and they both proceeded to list things they disliked. After finishing this list, Jin suggested they write about their fears.
Yoongi hesitated as he glanced up at Jin, who was already scribbling away. He made a brief pause, before finally starting to write. "I hope you won't judge me for taking too long," he murmured, more to himself than to Jin.
Jin heard that and smiled softly. "It's okay. Take your time," he said gently. "We all have things we're afraid of. It's part of being human."
Yoongi let out a slow breath as he nodded and continued to write, expressing his fears with honesty.
Jin waited till he finish and when he finally did, he nodded. The elder glanced over at his sheet, then back at his own. "What about dreams? Let's write down our biggest dreams, something we really want to achieve in life."
"Alright," Yoongi said as he began to write.
And as he wrote, his expression softened. "It's been a while since I've thought about this," he muttered. "But it feels good to put it into words."
Jin smiled. "Sometimes, putting our thoughts and feelings into words can be quite therapeutic," he said, glancing at Yoongi. "It's like a way of processing what's really inside our minds and hearts."
"Now let's go to the next one." He said. "If there's anything bothering you, feel free to write it down. Writing them down might make them feel less overwhelming."
Yoongi hesitated again as he thought about whether to write down his true feelings. He then let out a big exhale and began to put his thoughts into words, the ink flowing from his pen onto the paper.
As he wrote, he couldn't help but realise that something had shifted between him and Jin. The annoyance he once felt had transformed into something deeper, something he wasn't quite ready to admit.
These feelings were new and uncertain for him and putting them into words felt like exposing himself. But as he stared at the page before him, he knew he couldn't ignore them any longer.
Jin tilted his head as they both took longer than they expected to finish. "Looks like we both had a lot to say," he said smiling. "Guess we've been holding onto more than we realized." He glanced down at his own sheet of paper, tracing his fingers over the words. "But hey, that's what this is for, right? To get everything out in the open."
"Now, let's write about someone we love," he suggested gently. He paused, giving Yoongi a moment to think about it. "If there's someone on your mind, feel free to put it down. It's all part of the process."
Yoongi hesitated yet again, his fingers not having the courage to write it down.
Only one person came to his mind.
He sighed, then began to write, his hand moving slowly.
Jin saw him sighing and chuckled softly. "What happened?" he asked. "Is that person really troublesome?" he teased, leaning closer to see what he was writing, thinking that it was him who Yoongi might be writing about, such confidence on himself.
Yoongi quickly hid his paper, holding it close to his chest. "Don't look," he said, shooting him a glare.
Jin raised an eyebrow, getting interested by his sudden secrecy. "Hmm, now you've got me curious," he teased. "But don't worry, I won't peek," he promised as he sat back and continuing to write on his own sheet. However, he smirked as he said, "I wonder who really captured the heart of the mafia. It better be me."
Yoongi glanced up at him, his cheeks flushing pink as he groaned, "Shut up." He then quickly returned his attention to his paper.
After a while, with their writing complete, they exchanged glances. "Is there anything else you want to add, Yoongi?"
Yoongi shook his head. Jin nodded but then the younger spoke up again, his voice hesitant. "Um,.. but I don't feel comfortable sharing the answer to that last question.."
Jin's expression softened. "Hey, that's alright. You don't have to share anything you're not comfortable with yet. Your privacy is always important."
Yoongi nodded at that, kind of relieved by his understanding.
They both began by reading out the answers aloud to each question.
"The first question: what do we like?" Jin announced, glancing at Yoongi.
"For food, I wrote tangerines. For color, black. And for pets, I have cats and a tiger in my mansion."
Jin's eyes shot up in surprise. "A tiger? That's quite unexpected, I thought it was only a rumour." he said. "I didn't know you had a tiger in your mansion. I've been there countless times, but I've never seen one."
Yoongi shrugged. "He's quite shy, tends to hide when guests are around."
Jin raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, yeah. A tiger being super shy. Then I'll have to keep an eye out for him next time."
He then began to read out his own and Yoongi's cheeks instantly became red. "For food... Yoongi's lips," Jin said. "Color... Yoongi's pale skin. And for pets... a cat, just like Yoongi." He chuckled, noticing a faint blush on the younger's face while giving him a glare.
"Well, it's all true, you know that I always speak the truth, right?" He said with a sheepish smile.
With a little annoyance, Yoongi muttered, "You're just unbelievable."
Jin grinned. "I couldn't resist," he confessed. "Your lips are like the juiciest tangerines, and your skin... it's like porcelain. And as for the cat, well, you've always had this feline grace in you."
Yoongi raised his eyebrow. "You're such a smooth talker, you know that?" he said. "But I'll take it because I am indeed handsome."
"Wait, wait," Jin interfered, "while you're right about being handsome, in the end, don't forget that I'm the most handsome one here." He chuckled. "Sorry, but I will always outshine you. Can't help it. It's true beauty, straight from my birth."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Sure. Keep telling yourself that."
"Alright, now to the next question."
"I dislike being told to do things and being ordered around. I seriously can't stand it." Yoongi read out aloud.
Jin glanced at him with a knowing look. "Okay, now mine." He said as he started to read his answer. "Whenever someone touches my Yoongi."
Yoongi raised an eyebrow again. "You're quite possessive," he teased. "But I have to admit," he continued. "I kind of like it when you are like that. I don't know why, but it suits you well."
"Omo," Jin said. "Well, in that case, get ready because I'll be in my full possessive mode from now on." He winked at him playfully.
Yoongi shook his head, sighing as Jin chuckled and went to the next question.
Yoongi hesitated before reading, "My biggest fear.. is darkness. It's not just the absence of light but the feeling of being trapped in it, unable to see what's around, that terrifies me the most..." He shifted uncomfortably, his gaze fixed on the page.
Jin glanced at him briefly before continuing, "And for me, my biggest fear is...losing the people I care about."
Yoongi's eyes flicked up, meeting his gaze for a moment before Jin looked back at the paper. "It's not just the fear of being alone but the thought of not being able to see them again."
There was a heavy silence in the room as Jin finished reading and Yoongi broke the silence. "Well, that got deep," he said.
Jin chuckled, setting aside the papers. "Yeah, it did," he agreed. "But it's good to share these things, you know? Helps us understand our emotions better than before."
Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, it does," he muttered.
And as they went to next question, that is : their biggest dream, Yoongi started first again. "To quit having an hellish life and live peacefully with no jobs and humans around."
Jin immediately laughed at that. "That's quite the dream you have."
Yoongi shrugged casually "Hey, a man can dream, right?"
Jin shook his head, still laughing. "Fair enough," he said. "But why no humans around? Won't you miss having me around though?"
Yoongi scoffed, "I said humans, not a psychopath."
Jin laughed again, enough to make Yoongi smile absentmindedly. After a moment, he got ready to share his own. "Mine is simple," he began, "to marry the love of my life."
Yoongi nodded at that words, thinking who he might actually marry.
They then moved on to the next question and Yoongi hesitated before beginning to read.
"What's been bothering my mind recently..." he started but his voice trailed off.
"Go on, I am all ears." Jin encouraged. "I..I have someone in my mind, but.. but I'm afraid to admit my feelings.."
Jin's eyes immediately widened and he can't help but offer a sad smile, realizing that someone else had already made their way into Yoongi's heart before him and it's not him like he thought before. However, he pushed aside any personal feelings and began to offer his advice.
"Yoongi, admitting your feelings can be scary, but it's important to be honest with yourself and with the other person," he started gently. "Take your time to understand your own feelings and consider what you truly want. And when you're ready, don't be afraid to open up and communicate with them. It may be scary at first, but it's the first step towards finding clarity and peace of mind."
Yoongi listened intently and nodded, feeling kind of eased. "How shall I open it up though?"
Jin paused for a moment, thinking about his question. "I may not have the best answer for that but I believe opening up starts with honesty and sincerity. Start by finding the right moment and expressing yourself sincerely. Speak from your heart, and don't be afraid to show your true self. It's okay to feel uncertain but being honest about your feelings is better than ignoring them."
Yoongi nodded again and muttered a quite okay before Jin went to read out his answer, his smile fading, "What's bothering me recently is.. my uncle," he began.
"Your uncle?" Yoongi said as he furrowed his brow. "I didn't know you had one," he said. "Why is he a bother?"
Jin let out a heavy sigh. "He's an alcoholic," he explained. "Whenever he shows up, it's like a dark cloud looming over the mansion. He's always bossing everyone around like they are some small pets for him to play with."
"And sometimes.." There was a pause as Jin hesitated. "Sometimes, when he's super drunk, he becomes violent," he continued. "He's hurt me and Taehyung a few times in the past, both physically and emotionally. And last time he came, he hurt Jungkook too, that poor boy didn't even know who he was."
"And now, he's planning to visit again," he added, rubbing his temples. "I don't know how much more of his presence we can handle."
Yoongi raised his eyebrow. "But why haven't you gotten rid of him?" he asked. "I mean, I know you're more than capable of doing that, even put him in jail or for instant, just kill him. Peace. Immediately."
Jin sighed at that, "Believe me, I've thought about it more than you can imagine," he admitted. "But it's complicated. He's a family, and despite everything, I had gotten this order from my parents that I mustn't cut any ties with any of my family members."
He paused, "And before my parents died, when I was like 8, it was their last wish. I don't remember much about them but my whole family, except me, Taehyung and my uncle, died while being trapped inside a house that got fire. It was said to be an accident. I don't remember much of it, either do I care about it. It was all in the past."
Yoongi nodded understandingly, his expression softening. "I get it," he said gently. "Families can be quite complicated, especially when they're causing you so much pain."
Jin nodded, his expression softening, "Yeah," he murmured before brightening up. "Alright, let's move on to the last question!"
"Since you weren't comfortable sharing yours, I'll go first," he said. "As I write down the person I love the most," he began, "I can't help but think about every detail of him."
"He has black hair now, framing his face, making his features more beautiful." He continued, "His eyes are fiercely cat-like, captivating and mysterious, yet they hold an allure that draws you in."
"He has porcelain pale skin, being a god of elegance. He can be super bossy and bitchy at times, but it only adds to his charm," he chuckled. "Despite his small height, he has the presence of a king."
"His long, pretty fingers with multiple rings," he described. "And those little ear piercings, making every earrings suit him so well."
He smiled as he continued, "His voice is deep, commanding orders wherever he goes," he said. "But there are moments when it feels soft and innocent, like a true soul."
"And his lips," he paused, tilting his head, "they're like ripe fruit, tempting and irresistible. I often find myself wanting to take a bite."
He then concluded, "He's such a piece of art whom I would always like to keep in my heart of gallery."
Yoongi glared at him, realising who he meant as he shook his head in disbelief. "You can't be serio-"
"I am serious, Yoongi," Jin said, his voice now truly serious. "Every word I said is true."
Silence enveloped them while no words escaped Yoongi's lips. He lay on the bed, his elbows still propped up, his whole body frozen while they both continued to stare at eachother.
But then, a sharp interruption came. The elder's phone rang and he quickly retrieved it from the bedside table, his expression lighting up at the caller's ID.
"It's one of my seniors," he said to Yoongi with excitement. He accepted the call and started to talk with his usual bubbly voice.
Yoongi slowly lowered his elbows, feeling a rush of heat flood his cheeks as he buried his face into the pillow, hiding it. He then glanced at Jin for a moment before turning away and hiding his face again.
'What did I just hear?'
He thought to himself while Jin's description of him echoed in his mind.
He laid down fully, not being able to shake off his own feelings. His emotions that were usually guarded, always seemed to stir up at moments like this. Moments where Jin tries to tell that Yoongi will always feel that uncertain feeling by him, well known as love.
Yoongi don't hate the fact that someone was loving him, having him close to their hearts. It's just all of this sudden closeness, the annoying teasings, the playful smirks and the silent kisses even if not by lips, always made his heart flutter. He had to admit that those feelings were a new one and he had to confront them sooner or he will definitely regret not doing so later.
Despite everything that was happening including to fight for his freedom of achieving his dom status, was it possible that his feelings for Jin ran deeper than before?
And on top of everything, Yoongi still couldn't understand why someone like Jin - a well-developed, wealthy, and calm dom could love someone like him, a bitchy mafia. He couldn't grasp Jin's feelings and wanted to know what he did to make Jin so attracted and protective over him.
He couldn't comprehend the love Jin was showing him, wanting answers for the affection he was receiving without doing anything in return.
Is it possible for anyone to love someone like him even though he hasn't done anything in return?
Yoongi couldn't understand the logic. He needs answers, answers to Jin's feelings towards him. Sooner or later, he will definitely find those answers.
For now, he slowly closed his eyes, trying to relax his mind and heart, only to suddenly snap them open as he felt Jin's hand ruffling his hair, the unexpected touch fluttering his heart yet again.
He turned to his side as he glanced over at the elder who was still engrossed in his phone call. Yoongi felt something warmth spreading through him even though it was just a simple gesture.
Feeling suddenly sleepy at the touch, he closed his eyes again, allowing Jin to continue patting his head. He was actually scared of getting any nightmares tonight but with Jin by his side, he knew he won't get any, just like last time when he slept peacefully.
After a few minutes, Jin finished his call and noticed him already asleep. He smiled watching the peaceful expression on Yoongi's face.
Carefully, he gathered up the papers and pens, placing them neatly into the drawer beside the bed.
After tidying up, he settled himself down on his side, facing Yoongi. He pulled the blanket up over both of them, ensuring the younger was warm.
"You look so peaceful when you sleep," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "Good night, Yoongi."
Gazing at the younger's sleeping form, he resisted the urge to lean in and kiss his cheek and then, he turned to lay on his back, staring up at the ceiling.
"I don't know who captured your heart," he admitted softly,
"but I'll always love you."
