Chapter six
The sun was rising filtering a nice glow into the mine, it blinded me slightly. We had explored a majority of the main area in the mine, whatever used to live in it was obviously long gone. I wandered aimlessly down one of the mine shafts, I noticed the claw marks grew more frequent down here. I soon came to a collapsed tunnel, since my eyes were the only light I had I examined what I could. Upon looking at the bottom of the crumbled stones I saw a rusted golden hand, it shocked me. I cleared some of the rocks off and dragged the broken mangled body out, it looked like a broken Golden Freddy. Only upon seeing its face did I realise that it's soul had long left it, I knelt down to examine it closer. Chuckling sounded from somewhere in the rock pile, suddenly rocks rolled away as a long feared enemy emerged. I almost choked from the stench and sight of him, how did he get here.
"Well well well if it isn't an old friend, you won't remember me properly but you should know my name," he chuckled, the rotting flesh that somehow still clung to his rusted parts stunk.
"S-Springtrap," I gasped, he chuckled and lunged at me catching me by surprise. He pinned me against a wall his eyes filled with amusement and thirst for revenge, I struggled to free myself but he had so much energy from the time spent stuck under the rocks.
"Now now puppet I'm not going to bite," Springtrap chuckled, I knew I wasn't escaping his grasp. Springtrap dragged me back towards the main area, the others were filled with shock at the sight of him.
"H-how we watched you get torn apart so many years ago!" Golden Freddy gasped, Springtrap smirked.
"Nightmare put me back together, of course once this one here killed them both I went into hiding raising my own army, I was in the middle of giving orders to my Nightmares when the mine collapsed on us all, of course I have been stuck for months and now it's my turn to cause destruction and pain," Springtrap chuckled, he ran towards the entrance and smashed the walls causing rocks to fall. Instantly I shoved everyone out including Chanda but as I went to leave I was cut off by a large boulder, I skidded to a stop and began to shove rocks aside trying to escape. I managed to get my hand out but was crushed by a falling stone, I couldn't move. I felt something trying to pull me out, I tried to pull myself free of the crushing boulders. Golden Freddy used his power to blast the boulders, by the time they got to me I was blacked out.
**********
I awoke just outside the mine leaning against its walls, I hurt almost everywhere. Chanda was asleep at my side her head on my leg, I smiled but grunted as I shifted myself. Everyone turned their attention to me, I sighed knowing I would be babied until I was better.
"We thought you would never wake!" Exclaimed Plushtrap, little Chanda awoke at the loud noise. She instantly leaped at me, I caught her surprised.
"Yay your awake!" Chanda exclaimed with relief, I giggled. For something that was presumed dangerous she was awfully clingy and cheerful, everyone couldn't stop laughing.
"Yes Chanda I'm awake," I giggled returning her adorable hug, I was sore but I could suffer all the pain in the world for my friends and little Chanda.
"We couldn't catch Springtrap," Freddy panted returning with chica and foxy, foxy seemed most disappointed as he was the fastest out of us all.
"I ain't as quick as I once was captain," Foxy sighed, after Chanda stopped hugging me I spoke.
"Foxy it's not your fault, it's more so mine, I was curious at why there were things under the rocks and I released him," I explained, they all understood.
"Let us hope Nightlock finishes him for being a worthless smelly scallywag," Foxy grumbled, I nodded. I stood and used the rock surface to steady myself, once I was stable we left what was once our temporary home. It saddened me greatly, would we truly find a home. Golden Freddy played games with Chanda to keep her entertained, I don't know why but Chanda even though she looked scary was rather sweet and fun to be with. I heard a chuckle nearby and scooped Chanda into my arms, out of the tree line came the same blood red eyes that would haunt me forever.
"Come on you can't really be attached to a crossbreed!" Nightlock growled, Chanda was horrified.
"Chanda isn't evil and she never will be!" I snapped, Chanda clung to me tightly.
"Crossbreeds are death traps not a single one has shown true emotion!" Nightlock roared, my eyes narrowed.
"Then you don't know crossbreeds at all! Chanda is a kind young one and I wouldn't give her up for the world! I would rather die then see her and my friends killed!" I spat, Nightlock sighed. The twisted ones stalked out behind him, he knew I was right about everything.
"Twisted ones......... kill them all," Nightlock ordered, the twisted ones charged at us. Chanda clung even tighter, I used myself as a force field to make sure they never got her. Blow after blow the twisted ones struck me, I looked at Chanda and her eyes were filled with fear. I dug my claws into the ground and with what strength I had managed to teleport us far enough for Nightlock to be unable to find us for now, I placed Chanda down and collapsed in pain. Shadow Freddy got to work trying to heal me, I could sense their fear. Chanda clung to my arm, I could just see the fear in her gaze. I focused my power on healing as well, Chanda still fed on my power but she seemed to attempt to help heal me. Once at least the bleeding stopped I sat up in agony, Chanda seemed happy.
"Nightlocks a bully," Chanda complimented, I chuckled softly. At least she hated him as much as I did, everyone sat down to rest. I realised I hadn't seen Springtrap with Nightlock, perhaps he was off somewhere else or Nightlock had killed him himself. Foxy kept walking about to keep an eye out for any signs of danger, I also realised that without Springtraps directions Nightlock would still be searching which meant that they had obviously met. I shrugged it off enjoying Chanda's hugs, I realised we had also made a name for ourselves. Nightlock thought of us as cowards, once Chanda was in her full form we would have to fight. James was oddly quiet, I could tell he was deep in thought. I looked at the sky thinking, I hoped that I could keep Chanda safe and help her grow into something that protected the world instead of destroyed it.
Ok so i still have plenty of ideas for these books and yeah I'm a bit pissy at the end of each chapter but that's just who I am, people respect those for who they are not what they look like ok. I'm actually a kind person but I can get a bit over the roof with randomness, anyways hope y'all enjoyed the chapter and as usual no bad comments ok ;)
