As the festival was taking a break izuku was pulled aside by shoto todoroki where he learned of the terrible things endeavor did to his family but as he thought about this he thought about how fuyumi could've suffered too he had activated his recording segment allowing him to have anything to help in case any problems arise and he decided while he had time left he quickly visited the daycare where the kids are asleep as well as eri who was being laid down by fuyumi with ease as she hummed a small song while rocking eri's crib so she stays asleep as izuku leaned in the doorway enjoying as well as she begins to slowly stop and quietly exit the room only to bump into izuku spooking her

Fuyumi:EEP

Izuku:shh

Fuyumi:s-sorry

Izuku:no let me apologize for scaring you

Fuyumi:no no it's alright

Fuyumi:i just really wasn't expecting you to be here right now how long was the sports festival break

Izuku:still another 20 minutes

Fuyumi:really and you haven't eaten anything yet

Izuku:well like i said before i don't need to eat but i guess if you're hungry too

Fuyumi:huh

Izuku:do you wanna go get lunch with me before i go back

Fuyumi:'l-lunch with me' sure I'd love to but what about the kid-

Izuku:ever since that sludge villain attack happened I kinda had a favor asked from a friend of my dad's nezu and he was kind enough to link security here as well so if anything happens this place will be on lockdown and I'll be alerted

Fuyumi:a-alright let ne just get my bag

Izuku:ok

After she collects her things and follows izuku they decide to eat out at a barbecue place

Fuyumi:'this is really calm it's like i have nothing to worry about'

Izuku:is everything ok todoroki?

Fuyumi:huh

Izuku:you've been very quiet while we were here is something wrong

Fuyumi:ah n-no no it's just i never normally get invited out to anything unless its my brothers so this is just the first time I'm out with y'know a guy

Izuku processes this as his eyes go pitch black and he blushes which surprises her

Fuyumi:'i-is he blushing wait it's because i-i said it's the first time i went out w-with a guy'

Izuku:'d-does that mean i technically asked her out on a d-date then'

Fuyumi:ah i-I'm sorry I didn't mean to-

Izuku:no don't be it's the first time i did this too

Fuyumi:but what about ms shield?

Izuku:me and meli never did this she moved away from japan a few months after my accident so never really been alone with a girl before

Fuyumi:oh i see 'guess we both had a first for something'

Izuku:yeah...

Fuyumi:midori-

Izuku:you can call me izuku it's fine

Fuyumi:call me fuyumi and thanks for letting me come along with you for today I'm thankful you allowed me to come along

Izuku:n-no problem

Fuyumi:you know we have another 14 minutes before we have yo go back what do you say we hang out a bit longer

Izuku:I'd like that

Fuyumi:ok but we gotta get ice cream first

Izuku:I'm guessing you like ice cream huh

Fuyumi:of course i do who doesn't

Izuku:lactose intolera-

Fuyumi:pfft heh i didn't mean literally silly come on I'll pa-

Izuku:no I'll pay for it i invited you out so I'll-

But fuyumi beats him to it

Fuyumi:listen i can tell we're both stubborn so how about i pay for this and you pay for the ice cream because when i start eating cold treats i don't stop

Izuku:i guess that's fair

Fuyumi:hehe great

As they leave the place and go to get ice cream as fuyumi had warned she Loved it and and began a crusade on tasting each and every flavor 3-8 times over and over but izuku didn't mind he was happy to see her smile

Izuku:fuyumi you have some ice cream on your face

As he wipes some off her cheek they both pause staring at each other in the eyes as they stood there silent they were about to move as an alarm sounds letting izuku know he had 3 minutes to get fuyumi back to the day care then himself back to U.A he gives her a high speed piggy back ride after paying for the ice cream he bids her goodbye before blasting off again leaving her to wave off to him before she enters and checks on the kids to see them still sound asleep she sits down ready to watch the rest of the festival but her thoughts about earlier form as she puts her hands on her cheeks with a small smile forming

Fuyumi:that was nice i never did hung out with him before like this...but i wonder did this really count as a date to is both?
