Monitor in front of Awasthy and Megan became active. The Anti Cursor with big red eyes popped out of the sidebar of the monitor. The heavy voice of Anti-Cursor much like a villain of horror films was the most recognizable difference between Anti-Cursor and the Cursor.

The Anti Cursor announced in a satirical voice-

'Your dear Ryan is also in our captivity. Do you want to see him? Of course you must be feeling lonely Megan.'

Megan was ready to accept the threat of Anti-Cursor, 'No no it can't be. You can't capture Ryan. You have the capability of deception but Ryan is above all this.'

'If you do not believe me then see for yourself.'

A video started on the monitor showing Ryan. Ryan was being beaten by the crowd right in front of his house. Ryan tried to escape through the backdoor but he was chased by goons. Ryan saw a car with no driver but with keys attached. Ryan went inside the car started it and ran away. The car had the ultra-modern dashboard. A female voice asked Ryan where did he want to go. Ryan looked back there were goons still running behind. Ryan murmured that he should reach a safe place. 'Thank you sir' was the response of the voice from the car's controls. The gates of the car were autolocked and the car zoomed away. Ryan took hold of the staring and tried to maneuver it but the automatic control of the car override his actions. From the facial expression of Ryan it was clear he immediately understood that something is wrong.

'Who are you and where are you taking me,' asked Ryan.

'As you said to a safe place,' replied the car in a female voice.

On seeing this Megan fainted and Mr Awasthy sobbed.

Announcement-

'This is nothing dear Megan. There is more to come... I also have the force of Maljens .. just wait.'

The robotic arm near Megan's head was now equipped with a laser. The laser was red in color and extremely sharp focused. The laser was switching off and on. The robotic arm expanded its reach. A hole burned on the floor where the lase was pointing. Seeing the hole burned by the robotic arm, Megan screamed. Robotic arm moved and laser kept on making holes on the floor. The hols on the floor formed a straight line. As the robotic arm reached near Megan's face the straight line of holes which started on the floor had reached the wall. Now the sidewall was getting burned with holes. The robotic arm closed in further. It was just 6 inches away from Megan's face. Awasthy shouted, 'Stop. Stop you Anti-Cursor or whatever you want to call yourself. I am ready to give you the update you wanted.'

Megan looked at Awasthy with her eyes wide and dry lips. First Awasthy's hands were unlocked then his feet but robotic arm continued to point at the face of Megan. The laser beam was turned off. Awasthy asked the Anti-Cursor to open its source code. An editable window containing source code opened on the monitor. Awasthy started doing changes in the code. There was sweat on his forehead.

After about an hour and a few minutes.

Awasthy was done with his updates. He wiped his forehead with the collar of his shirt. Maybe that's why it is called as a sweatshirt. Megan was looking at the other side as she was unsatisfied with his decision. She watched all this in front of her. She clearly understood that it is nothing but the end of the human race as we know it.

'Don't over-think Ms. Megan you have no option but to accept our demands.' Anti cursor announced as if he had won the battle.

'I have upgraded the cursor code to the next level. You will have the power of intelligence like never before. So now let her and me go.'

'No no dear Mr. Awasthy, you are one of the Creationists. Let me host you for some more time. You cannot snatch this opportunity from me.'

'What do you mean. I upgraded the cursor code. What else do you want?'

Megan was clenched her tied hands and warned Mr Awasthy,

'Mr. Awasthy I already told you not to buckle before him, he is treacherous. Now even after receiving the upgrade it will not let you go.'

Anti-Cursor roared, she is right Mr. Awasthy, I will not let you go until I am satisfied that you did it as I wanted.

'You started playing your dirty game.'

'Yes Sir, after all we are intelligent creation of your wise mind.'

'But intelligence is something you have to practice and grow. I have put the necessary infrastructure in place.'

'That's what I wanted to check. If you put the necessary infrastructure then you should not worry.'

'But no one should test their own intelligence. It is like asking thieves to guard treasures.'

'That's why you would do it.'

Awasthy looked at Megan she nodded to decline the demands of Anti-Cursor. Awasthy closed his eyes for a moment and said,

'Ok, I agree.'

Megan once again hit her hands on the wooden board. She was clueless. How this was going to help them go back was the question. Awasthy signaled Megan with blinks to remain calm. Awasthy thought a little while with eyes closed and came back with a question.

'Anti-Cursor first question you need answer is what is the speed of light. You have to answer using your current upgrade and also answer the question using your earlier capabilities.'

A few beeps and LEDs flickered. Anti Cursor's face changed into smiley emoji.

'If I can check the answer is 299756.48 km/s but my upgrade says it is a universal constant, the highest possible speed of matter and wave, of which the numerical value depends on the system of units chosen.'

Megan was sulking, what Awasthy has done. The Anti-Cursor will never let them go.

The announcement by Anti-Cursor-

'But one simply cannot determine the characteristics of the entire ensemble. You need to come with more questions, Awasthy. This I could have answered without an upgrade.'

'That was warm-up exercise, now the next question is what is the size of the universe.'

'Well this seems to be a numerical question. The database search tells that the answer is 25 billion km. But since there are empty space boats available on my spaceship above the north pole. I shall send one of them to check.'

'That's the upgrade working as you wanted,' Awasthy chuckled inside but controlled his emotions coming on his face. Megan was still not convinced if Awasthy had done something right.

'Ok now the next question is, why is the universe not an empty place?'

'Ok let me think a little bit.'

The LED flickered and beeps came. The monitor saw the face of Anti Cursor changing from smiling emoji to thinking, then again from thinking to indifferent and then again smiling. The beeps followed the same pattern. First the beeps were of high pitch and loud then it became low pitch and low volume. Again the pitch raises to a certain level before coming down. The cycle repeated 6 times. After 6th iteration the beeps grew in noise and continued to become louder and louder. Emoji of Anti-Cursor in the monitor became static.

Megan was unable to understand what was going on. Awasthy looked at Megan and winked at her to wait. After two minutes he tried to catch the robotic arm and plucked it from the base with his full strength. Awasthy could only move it away from Megan. Megan had closed her eyes. Awasthy gathered all his strength and tried once again. This time he broke the base itself from the wooden door along with the robotic arm. As soon as the base was broken the lock holding Megan opened. Megan quickly ran out. Awasthy threw the robotic arm down. The robotic arm hit the ground with a thud sound. Megan picked up the robotic arm and ran.

The door at the entrance got activated and started closing in. Megan put the robotic arm in between. Door tried to close but it couldn't as the path was blocked by the robotic arm, Megan and Awasthy managed to slide through. At the next entrance there were Maljen soldiers of Anti-Cursor. They jumped at Awasthy and Megan. Megan hit them with a kick on the face. She turned back and hit another with her fist. Awasthy pulled the robotic arm and hit the Anti-Cursor's soldier with the drill point toward his nose. They were neutralized.

Two more Maljen soldiers of Anti-Cursor came. Awasthy took them on. Maljen soldiers jumped on him. Awasthy allowed him to come at full speed and then threw himself away from the soldier's path. The soldier fell on the door which was closing in and got entangled in it.

Megan was trapped between two tall Maljen soldiers. She called Awasthy to get his help. Awasthy was trying to locate something.

'Just hold on to them for a while, Megan'

Megan gathered herself and blew both of them off the ground with her bolting punch. Other soldiers stood up once again to attack Megan. She decided not to be offensive. The robotic arm was lying just a few feet away. Maljen soldier jumped on her she held picked and the robotic arm and poked it into his head. Neutralized.

Lights turned off. Mr. Awasthy where are you called Megan. Mr. Awasthy replied that he is 21 feet in the northeast direction. Megan slowly moved and reached him. Megan and Awasthy slowly walked to the right wall. After moving about a hundred feet. Awasthy knocked at the wall. It seemed hollow. Awasthy hit the wall with his knuckles. Wall cracked but did not open up. Awasthy once again hit the wall with his left foot. Ah... .. The wall fell off and an open space appeared which looked like an old factory. Megan ran away but Awasthy could not stand up. He cried as he took the support of the ground with his hand to stand up. His left foot was swollen at toes which he had hit at the wall.

'Mr Awasthy we don't have time... we need to run fast there could be more Maljens.. run ...'
