PROLOGUE (RW)

The wet concrete tread below Ritø as she ran, Taking a few wrong turns and ending up in an alleyway with a dead end. She was cornered. She looked back, attempting to find any possible escape route, but to no avail.
Calm walking was heard, following close behind, his heavy boots not helping whatsoever to conceal his location as he approached. The wet concrete lightly splashed beneath him as he slowly strided to Ritø's ‘hiding spot’, if you could even call it that.
Once he made it there, he raised his gun, aiming it at Ritø.
“W-wait— Can't we talk this out..? Onrushing..?” Ritø Pleaded, hoping he would change his mind. She couldn't run, she couldn't fight back. She was trapped. Her only hope now was to negotiate or stall until someone came to help, but that was never going to happen.
“I- I…i wont complain anymore..? I'll— i uh– I'll be quiet, I'll help you with your work..?”
she continued, attempting to bargain.
BANG.
She got cut off by a gun shot ringing through the air.
“Wait— NO–!” she screamed before it was too late, a bullet piercing her skull, but not before a million thoughts and questions ran through her head. Though, one question stood out the most. Why? This was her brother. Her own flesh and blood. And he just..killed her without any hesitation? She felt hurt. Well, mentally. She was obviously gonna hurt if she had just gotten shot. as she slumped against the wall, another shot rang through the air as a bullet pierced her heart, and she finally collapsed to the ground, bleeding out onto the cold, hard alleyway floor and walls.

Ritø jerked awake, floating in the middle of Onrushing's office
‘Really? That flashback again? Must've dozed off..’ she thought to herself, stretching slightly and heading towards Onrushing's room.
Once she got there, she watched over Onrushing for a moment, who was sleeping soundly in his bed. She couldn't help but wonder…why? Why DID he shoot her that night? It was only a silly argument. Sure, she may have been annoying and consistent, but that…isn't an excuse to kill his own sister..
She moved over to Onrushing’s alarm and set it to 2am just to inconvenience him for the next day, and then turned away and floated over to her corner of the room, stretching in her spot and eventually falling asleep, floating in the air. Let's hope there's no more flashbacks..

Rewrote the Prologue because I wasn't happy with it. Changed some things aswell as the end. Hope you enjoyed the prologue, I'll try to figure out how to write the next chapter (maybe from Onrushing’s POV??)
