I am very sorry for not updating this story since very very long time but plz try to understand that I am unable to allot my time writing both the stories at once considering my college work too but I promise I will be updating this story too whenever I find some time!

Recap:

"Is there anything going on between you and Vikram? Is that why you don't want to help me?" Jay asked with an angry look on his face.

"What?? How can you say that? He is like my brother.we are cousins but that doesn't mean there is something between us" I yelled on top of my voice & stormed away from that place.

I kept walking with many thoughts running in my mind.

How can he talk about us like that?

How can he think that there is something going on between me and Vicky?

Vicky is like my brother!! Can't he understand that??

Can't he see what I feel towards him??

I aimlessly started walking but somehow managed to reach the bus stop. I boarded the bus, which was half-empty, I sighed in relief because I was not at all in a mood to stand all the way till I reach our locality. I settled down plugging my earphones in order to avoid several thoughts crossing my mind.

A slow romantic song started playing as soon as I switched on the radio. I couldn't stop my thoughts which were rushing back to him.

My lips twitched upwards into a small smile, as I remembered that this was the song that was played in the cafe when we reached there. I guess I didn't mention it before because I was very much busy admiring the person before me.

His Eyes!

He doesn't have any feelings for you! He just needs your help! When will you understand that!! taunted my brain.

That's when I realised what I was thinking and swiftly pulled out my earphones and kept them inside my bag. I don't want to deal with anything that makes me remember him. I suddenly felt exhausted with the turnout of events. I leaned on the glass window and closed my eyes, letting my brain to rest for sometime.

I woke up, when I felt someone shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes, blinking them to adjust to sudden light and then I realised that I was still in the bus when I took in my surroundings.

I smiled sheepishly at the bus conductor and swiftly got down the bus. Luckily, my stop is the last one so there is no need to worry about missing my stop.

I wondered how my life changed in a span of just one week. Before one week, I was just a normal girl all my college knew as a nerd & topper who is least interested in guys. But then he came and changed everything just in a matter of few days. He made me see my life in a new dimension which I never knew that it existed. He is the who evoke the feelings which I was unaware of.

I walked into my house silently, still lost in my thoughts. My house is eerily silent. 'Where's my mom?' I wondered entering my room. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a strong pair of arms circling my waist and hoisting me up in the air, twirling me around. I shrieked in terror due to all this sudden movements. Suddenly realisation dawned into me.

My mom isn't here.

There is someone else inside my room.

I should do something!!

I started moving my legs to and fro in order to kick whoever the intruder is.

"Let me go! You idiot!" I yelled at him.

His grip tightened, I started kicking with much force.

"Aah...It's hurting! Goddammit Akshu, I am Vicky!!" The intruder said making my eyes go wide in surprise.

He immediately let go of me, I managed to stand properly by holding the door else I would have landed on the floor with a thud considering the force he let me go.I turned around to face an angry looking Vicky aka Vikram.

"Are you crazy?? Why did you do that?" I asked him in an irritated voice.

"I should ask you that!! Why were you kicking me?" He asked narrowing his eyes at me.

"What do you expect me to do when you suddenly lifts me from behind?" I questioned him raising my eyebrow at him.

"I always used to do the same!" He said nonchalantly.

That's when reality hit me hard.Vicky always does this. He used to always lift me from behind whenever he comes to meet me, no matter where we are. I also remembered how he once did this in our cafeteria and everyone in our college thought that we are together considering our closeness. Later, I had to explain everyone, literally everyone that there isn't anything like that. So may be Jay must also have seen us being close else he wouldn't have come to such conclusion.

Oh no! I reacted a bit too much, Isn't it??

May be I should give him one more chance to explain himself.

Yeah! I guess I should!

But he just needs your help, just help nothing else!! my mind chimed in.

Yeah! But what's wrong in giving one more cha---

"Who is he?" Vicky said breaking my reverie.

"Huh?" I asked confusion marring my features.

"Who is this guy you are thinking about?" Vicky said emphasizing on 'this guy'

"What? n..no one" I said trying hard not to stutter.

"Oh really? You want me to believe that?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Really Vicky, I don't know which guy you are talking about!" I said air quoting 'guy' with my fingers.

"So, now you know many guys huh?" Vicky said with an amused smile on his face.

"Shut up Vicky! You know me right" I whined at him. He narrowed his eyes doubtfully.

"Aah Vicky! You have finally decided to visit your aunt huh?" My mom said entering my room, making me sigh in relief. Thanks mom!!

"umm..How are you aunty? Do you know how much I missed you?" Vicky said hugging my mom. He is very much close to my family. We both have practically grown up together. May be that's why we never had feelings towards each other. Our parents are very much keen to tie us down together once I finish my studies but Vicky & I told them that is never going to happen. They were unhappy about it first but later they said they understood us and said that our happiness is more important to them.

My mom and Vicky walked back towards the living room. I sighed in relief. Thanks god! I mean, thanks again mom!!

"But how did he got to know that I was thinking about him?" I wondered out loud, picking up a pajama and tee, entering into the bathroom.

He isn't so naive as you! retorted my brain.

I took a quick shower, relishing the warm water, easing out all the tiredness out of me. I quickly put on my clothes and walked out. My stomach grumbled making me realise that I need to have something immediately. I waltzed towards the kitchen and saw that Vicky was sitting on the kitchen island having Dosa, conversing with my mom.

"Mom! I am feeling hungry! If you are done feeding him, let me also have some" I said feigning innocence, sticking my tongue out at Vicky when my mom was busy arranging a plate a for me.

"Oh no my dear! I was just about to call you, come here" she said in a concerned voice, forwarding my plate with Dosa and Coconut chutney. One look at it, my stomach grumbled again.

"Seems like someone is very hungry!" Vicky said teasing me. I just shrugged and dug in, pleasuring my tastebuds.

After sometime, I and vicky, settled down on the bean bags in my room. I hoped that he shouldn't remember about what all he said before sometime. Luckily, he continued to speak about everything and anything. There were many times my mind wandered around his thoughts but somehow I managed to put them at bay.

"Vicky?" I called him but he was very much busy surfing channels in my LED TV.

"Vicky!" I raised my voice this time in order to gain his attention and it worked.

"Why are you shouting? I am just beside you" he said slightly annoyed.

"Accha ok listen..." I trailed off not knowing how to put my thoughts into words.

"What is it Aksh?" Vicky asked giving me his undivided attention. I suddenly felt nervous.

"umm...Do you...you have someone special in your life?" I finally asked him what I wanted to ask him since he came today.

"umm...Yeah" he said rubbing his fingers on his stubble as if thinking deeply about it. I rolled my eyes.

"I mean, yeah I have my parents,your parents and ofcourse....You!" He said but quickly added "I mean you are not on the list but I don't want you to feel bad so yeah.." he said winking at me.

"Vicky!" I whined at him.

"What?" He asked making me pout.

"Okay! Someone special as in a girlfriend?" He asked to which I quickly nodded my head.

"As of now, no I am currently Single and ready to mingle but why do you ask?" He raised his eyebrows at me. I just shrugged but he kept gazing at me, I was about to answer making up something but he said the most ridiculous thing one could ever say.

"Oh no! Don't tell me you started to have feelings for me, I mean, I know I am hot, handsome and all that but seriously you and me is something I could never imagine!" He said making me gawk at him open-mouthed.

"Stupid!" I muttered as he laughed out loud, I too started laughing with him at his silly answer. After sometime, our laughter subsided and he asked something for which I couldn't bring myself to answer something.
