Nothing can separate us from the love of God

No angels, nor demons

Not any of all creations

Not even the present, past or future

Not even the distance between them

 .

A lover’s heart seeks another

Yet both know the limit that was given

The boundary that was drawn,

The wall that was set up for them

 .

The temptation to climb clings upon their bones;

Their hands aching to touch another,

Their breathes’ warmth to compare,

The smiles they long to see,

An embrace that longs to be done

 .

Yet God has His purpose upon them,

To write the best love story He can ever compose

Though it pains Him to watch them despair,

The best ending is well imagined by the best author

 .

Now rather than ascending, they kneel down

Rather than complaining, they praise

Rather than calling upon each other,

They call on God

Nothing can bring both of them apart

 .

The space between them became their advantage

It was a chance to grow upon the wealth of God

It was a revelation of a greater yearning

That if they were not that far from each other,

They wouldn’t be this near to God

 .

A lover’s heart longs for another

Yet they attest to be much stronger

Proving that the miles that are separating them,

Are just to tell us how wide the reach of God really is
