After the rain, the rainbow comes after

I used to gaze at it and marvel at its beauty

Rainbow has seven colours

And I’m a fan of colourful things

 .

When I read the bible, that’s when I realized its true meaning

It’s not just pleasing to the eyes

I found out that the rainbow symbolizes the covenant of God with people

He said that it’s the reminder that He’ll not destroy the earth

 .

God can wipe the earth and make a new one

But He didn’t do that

He decided that there’s hope for us

So He saved us

 .

Every time I see a rainbow, I’m reminded of God’s faithfulness

Though the people are wicked, He chose to love us

Even if we have failures and mistakes, His grace is made perfect for us

Rainbow – a sign that we have a bright future with God
