Ellie's POV
I woke up at 5 am like I do every morning and got dressed. Once I was dressed I ran downstairs to stand next to my older brother Jackson. My mother inspected me first like always and started to speak in her usual tone "Ellie, I see that you seem to have forgot the rule of no shoes in the living room." As I heard her say that I knew I was in trouble

"Yes mam it won't happen again"

"I would hope not, go to your room and I'll meet you there." I immediately did what she said and went to my room. I sat down on my bed knowing what would come next. She came in with the whip and I immediately stood up and took off my shirt. "Anything you would like to say before I begin?"

"No mam" I said as tears ran down my cheek

"Okay then" She said before hitting me in the back with the whip. I could feel the pain rushing through my body as more tears ran down my cheek.

*Time Skip*

Ellie's POV
Once she was done I put on my shirt and crawled into bed not saying a word. "Goodnight" I heard her say before she slammed the door closed. Once she was gone I cried myself to sleep....
