"My lady?" Terrance asks her as Mori wakes up. "How may I serve you today?" Terrance knows that something happened between her and Nocturne. Mori is able to hide her thoughts behind barriers as strong as a vampire, but something has made her more fragile. And fragile doesn't suit Mori.

"Oh, Terrance I didn't know you were here." Mori looks around. She had fallen asleep next to Jerus. She had expected either Jerus or Nocturne to be here.

"Might I offer you my blood, my queen?" Terrance asks and looks away as Mori sits up letting the covers slide down. Mori doesn't even notice that she's not wearing any clothes.

"Oh, that would be lovely thank you. I thought there were supposed to be other vampires feeding me as well?" Mori says as she stretches and yawns.

Terrance slices open his wrist, "Nocturne decided that it's too risky to have the others feed you. After you got sick from feeding..."

"Ah, yes. That was nasty. But your blood tastes good." Mori says latching onto the bleeding wrist and drinking thirstily.

Terrance had been warned to feed very well before coming but even though he'd prepared himself he is surprised at how much Mori is taking from him. "My lady, are you still hungry?"

Mori had stopped herself as soon as the wound had healed but she couldn't help herself from licking up all traces of the blood from his wrist and arm.

"Yes, actually. I know that I need to eat the human food but it's beginning to not taste good at all. I'm finding that only the blood tastes right and even among the blood that I drink there are differences."

Terrance can't help but widen his eyes at her words. A human discerning the differences of blood flavoring. He had thought Nocturne's worries to be a product of paranoia but now he's not so sure.

"The king has told me to take you to the cafe in town when you are ready to eat breakfast." Terrance says instead of what he's thinking.

"Okay, I just need to shower." Mori gets up and walks unconcernedly naked across the cabin stopping just long enough to grab some clothes before heading towards the bathroom.

Something is definitely different. Mori had never been so open about her body before. Also she hadn't even asked about Nocturne. Terrence wonders just what the hell Nocturne had done to Mori.

"Jerus?" Nocturne asks sometime later.

"Yes, my king?"

"Tell me about Mori last night."

"I'm sorry my king I don't understand what exactly you wish to know." Jerus says tensing up after his time with Nocturne.

Nocturne caresses the other vampires back to calm him. "I mean, how was she while you were with her."

Nocturne's touch doesn't relax Jerus, in fact he feels himself tensing among other things adding Mori into the mix just made him hard all over.

"I still don't understand what it is you want to know." Jerus is seriously confused, does his king what a touch by touch description?

"Ahh, yes, perhaps it would be easier for you to show me? Place my hands how you touched her and show me how she responded." Nocturne says pleasantly.

"Have I offended my liege? Am I now to be tortured for doing your will?" Jerus is no longer hard or relaxed, he's flat out terrified.

"Shh, no need for alarm Jerus." Nocturne croons as he caress's the vampire. "I just wish to know how pleasured she was."

"If you wish I will touch you to give you the pleasure I gave her, with some minor changes of course. But that is the best that I can do. I can only assume the pleasure she felt since we didn't talk."

"Terrance, you're unhappy and jumpy as a grasshopper. What's wrong? Have I done something that will get you in trouble with Nocturne again? If so I'm sorry I didn't mean to do anything." Mori is unhappy at the thought of Terrance getting into trouble because of her.

"No, my lady. You have done nothing wrong that I know of. It's just, did something happen between you and Nocturne? You don't seem yourself and you haven't asked about him once," Terrance replies.

With his words at first a smile flits onto her face but by the time he finishes it turns bitter. "Nothing more than being human I guess. I figured if Nocturne wasn't here it's because he has better things to do than be with a puny human. He is after all king of the vampire's." The bitterness leaked into her voice as well.

"Mori, what did he do?" Terrance asks in alarm.

Mori shrugs, "Nothing he hasn't done to the other females he's been with."

"He hit you?" Terrance asks amazed.

Mori doesn't want to answer but nods anyway with Terrance looking at her intently. "I guess I said something when I shouldn't. But unlike the other females he won't leave me at least not until the children are born. But at the same time, I don't think I'll survive their birth so I don't have any escape until their birth."

"Mori..." Terrance starts.

"Don't. The chances of me surviving aren't good. I'm sure that Nocturne has been trying to figure a way to break the bond. The last thing he needs is a human bitch at his side."

"Mori, I told you to not be so down on yourself. Leave Terrance." Nocturne says suddenly standing next to Mori.

Mori pushes her plate away and prepares to stand up. "Wait Mori please." Nocturne says softly.

The waitress brings the check over and Nocturne grabs it as Mori shoves past him and starts walking out the door.

Nocturne hurries to pay the bill and easily catches up to Mori. "Nocturne you stink of sex." That's all Mori would say to him as they walk towards the cabin.

"Mori, what the hell is wrong with you?" Nocturne says starting to get angry.

Mori stops and turns to face Nocturne. "Nothing. I am and always have been like this. Is this not to your liking? That's too bad, because I'm not changing. You going to hit me again because you don't like how I am?"

"Mori...."

"If all you are going to do is lie to me then don't bother saying anything. Go ahead, we're on your land now." Mori says.

"I'm not going to hit you and this is your land. I told you, I gave this to you." Nocturne says having more difficulty holding onto his temper than he thought he would.

"You also told me you wouldn't hit me and you did." Mori says then goes into the forest instead of the cabin. "So what did you do to the poor bastard? You leave his body to rot in my cave or dump him for the animals to eat or you actually took care of his body properly?" Mori asks bitterly since Nocturne is following her instead of leaving her alone like she wants.

"I left him in the cave to rot." Nocturne replies with unconcern.

"Of course you did." Mori curses him under her breath and changes course for the cave. "Just how big of a mess will I have to take care of?"

Now Nocturne is lost, "What are you talking about Mori?"

"The smell of rotting flesh will cause problems. The hot springs are used by the townspeople and the rotting corpse will bring dangerous animals too close to the hot springs." Stupid vampire is added under her breath but Nocturne hears her anyway. He's angry at her words but even angrier that he hadn't thought about the effects on others his actions or lack thereof would be.

They make it to the cave and Mori pulls out a lantern from where she stores it. Mori then leads the way to the back of the cave. She frowns in disapproval at the mess before her. She starts picking up body parts and balances the lantern as she walks. Nocturne feeling shamed picks up other body parts piling the remaining pieces so that when Mori comes back he can carry them and have Mori hold the lantern for him.

Mori comes back and watches amazed as Nocturne picks up the charnal pieces and motions for her to lead the way. He follows her to where she had dumped the other pieces of Dvis's body and dumped the load he was carrying.

"Would you rather I burn this or bury it Mori?" Nocturne asks solicitously.

"Burning would be better but, I don't have..." Mori's voice fades as the pile suddenly starts burning. It burns hot and fast and within an hour all traces of the dead vampire are gone.

"I'll wash up the cave as well. You can accompany me, go to the hot springs or return to the cabin and wait for me there." Nocturne says taking the lantern from her unresisting hand.

"I would go to the hot springs but villagers are likely to be there and I don't have the proper clothes with me. I don't wish to return to the cabin just yet."

"But you don't wish to be with me either do you?" Nocturne says flatly.

Mori doesn't answer just heads into the cave. She doesn't need the light, she has it all memorized. But even so Nocturne follows closely behind her, giving her light should she need it.
